I've heard rumblings through Yelp and other outlets that these tavern style, thin crust pizza's are starting to challenge the current deep dish belt holder for the official pie of Chicago, and they were right! The main highlights to me for this style of pizza would be the lack of a substantive crust, the liberal application of cheese, and their rich and meaty pizza sauce which really knocked it out of the park. Please note that since I was feeding kids, had to order a half pepperoni cheese pizza and it was this good with basically no toppings. Smaller, old school pizza shop with a handful of tables and a couple taps. Everyone was super nice to me as I had all these questions about their pie and talking about their rich history in the neighborhood.

    They cater!

I sort of forgot how much I really love this pizza here. Back in the early 80s this was my go to spot on my way home from work. I was flattered that the owner remembered me today after nearly 30 years. I still do things different and put the pepperoni on top of the cheese and I like pie cut. Especially now when I could never finish a whole small and it just makes it warming up for another meal easier. Plus, there's something about having crust in every piece. Over the top friendly service with a smile. Good old school wooden benches and the AC was cranking, which felt extra good on a 97° day. Definitely gotta make my journey out here more often. I think I'll do an Italian beef soon.

This place reminds me of a place I went to in college, small, old school decor, very friendly staff, good beer on tap and pizza. Heard that this place ranked #2 for pizza in the suburbs so looked forward to trying it. Ordered a large pizza with lots of toppings and the pizza was okay. It was cooked through but hoped for more of a charred crust. There's good amount of cheese and toppings but not a big fan of the dried out cracker crust or the tomato sauce. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great but I did like the overall experience. Will I go back? Not sure. It's a place I want to love but for now not feeling that vibe.

BEST THIN CRUST PIZZA!! This is an old school pizza place. It's been around for decades so it's super causal inside. Service was great but I only do carry out. My family use to pick up there was I was a kid and I have rediscovered it. Keep in mind there are a lot of different types of pizza in the Chicago area. This style is tavern. Very thin and crispy! Also this pizza is not greasy- it has lots of flavor!! Definitely a must try!!!

Joe's pizzeria, I love you guys man! Joe's is hands down, Northside Chicagoland suburb legendary they've been around forever! My wife and I love Joe's. This is our favorite Tavern/thin crust in the NorthShore suburb area. we've been coming here for at least six years now and we've never had a bad experience. very consistent from pizza to service amazing as always got the largest size thin crust cheese pizza always comes out piping hot, cooked to perfection every single time cheese perfect amount the sauce amazing acidic flavorful just the way I like there dough is paper thin with amazing flavor and texture, crisp every piece to the end. Their service is always amazing. The guys at the front that worked the window are awesome. For all you sausage fans Joe's makes in house sausage and it taste amazing Chicago style seasoned sausage, phenomenal highly recommend, pairs so good with Giardiniera. The servers are always happy to serve you and amazing. Joe's is pretty small restaurant with a couple tables and chairs. They do have parking lot and a beautiful marquee Joe's pizza sign outside which I think is awesome. Gives it that old school look. 100% Recommend!

If you want consistent good thin crust pizza and some quick service Joe's is a great place to stop by. I'll usually order this on my way home occasionally and they have it ready within 15-20 minutes which is always a great standard. They also have a bowling alley nearby that I've seen people come by to get pizza and take back to bowl. The other thing I consistently get are the mild wings I love these versions because they have a dry seasoning that lets you really feel the crunch. See you next time you wonderful people.

Did takeout. Loved this Chicago style tavern pizza. Would go back in a minute. The restaurant looked small located in a strip mall.

This was my first visit to Which Wich and I was a little overwhelmed by the bags on the wall (you're supposed to mark which wich you choose with a sharpie). Instead I went up to the register and was walked back to the bags. Too many choices so I selected a tuna wich and fries. I waited quite some time. I was expecting a quick turnaround like at Subway or Potbelly's. No, your food is prepared behind a barrier and you were supposed to mark the toppings you wanted on the bag. It was about 20 minutes at which time I decided to take my food to go. I had a dr appointment so I took my wich into the office with me (didnt wanna leave a tuna wich in a 100 degree car). I carried my bright yellow which wich bag into the waiting room. The wich was ok, nothing spectacular. I prefer the tuna sandwich at other establishments. I wouldn't order the fries again. Next time I would examine the menu in advance so I could select which wich.

When I entered Which Wich I grabbed a sandwich bag and filled in my order. This was new to me but I was able to figure it out and ordered successfully. An employee also explained this to me. Because I wanted to try everything I could, I ordered a French Dip sandwich, French fries, milkshake, and cookie. The sandwich was fine, a little better than your average sandwich shop sandwich but not super memorable. The French fries were really good and I enjoyed the skinnier fries. The milkshake was again ok but not great. The cookie, I thought, was the best thing I had from Which Wich. The food was average but what was really shocking was the price. This meal was $25.02. This was really expensive. A dinner for two would cost over $50! This caused me not to want to go back. It makes it really difficult to take a family here for food. For adequate food and really high prices, I cannot recommend Which Wich!

Our sandwich was warm, but our friend who got it to go had his sandwich coming out steaming. It just made it look much more appetizing. Overall, it's not the best sandwich I've had, but it's still a good deli option.
