Joe's pizzeria, I love you guys man! Joe's is hands down, Northside Chicagoland suburb legendary they've been around forever! My wife and I love Joe's. This is our favorite Tavern/thin crust in the NorthShore suburb area. we've been coming here for at least six years now and we've never had a bad experience. very consistent from pizza to service amazing as always got the largest size thin crust cheese pizza always comes out piping hot, cooked to perfection every single time cheese perfect amount the sauce amazing acidic flavorful just the way I like there dough is paper thin with amazing flavor and texture, crisp every piece to the end. Their service is always amazing. The guys at the front that worked the window are awesome. For all you sausage fans Joe's makes in house sausage and it taste amazing Chicago style seasoned sausage, phenomenal highly recommend, pairs so good with Giardiniera. The servers are always happy to serve you and amazing. Joe's is pretty small restaurant with a couple tables and chairs. They do have parking lot and a beautiful marquee Joe's pizza sign outside which I think is awesome. Gives it that old school look. 100% Recommend!

If you want consistent good thin crust pizza and some quick service Joe's is a great place to stop by. I'll usually order this on my way home occasionally and they have it ready within 15-20 minutes which is always a great standard. They also have a bowling alley nearby that I've seen people come by to get pizza and take back to bowl. The other thing I consistently get are the mild wings I love these versions because they have a dry seasoning that lets you really feel the crunch. See you next time you wonderful people.

Garlic, green pepper, onion, mushroom pizza

This is pizza is one of the best I have ever had! While the toppings were fresh and in a good amount, the crust was crackery and even better cold. Well done, bravo

Excellent old school pizza place. One of the best Chicago-Style thin crust in all of Chicagoland. Best to eat at Joe's to get the best overall experience as all pizza's just taste better out of the oven.

I'm glad I started my chicago pizza journey with this place. On the outside it looks like a little hole in the wall but it has great flavor if you give it a try. I can see myself becoming a regular for this pizza.

The service is terrible if you sit inside. The pizza is average. The prices are heavy.

It was so delicious & I'm not even a pizza fan (horrifying I know) but too much diary is bad for me & I like lighter fare. It's definitely got a spicy hint to it. Service: Great. Ambiance: I really like this place. It's nicer than most Moretti's because it's newer in the area of Wheeling with a lot of new restaurants. There was a good band playing on the weekend. Parking: Easy, huge lot. Pro tip: Try the deep dish even though it's known for thin crust

Heads up: we didn't make a reservation, and they definitely prioritize people who do. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes for a table. It's a busy Tuesday spot, and they seemed a little short‑staffed for how packed it was, but everyone was doing their best and staying friendly. And honestly, once the food came out, the wait didn't matter anymore. Because let me tell you -- the Maxed Out Mac 'N' Cheese pizza with the triple‑stuffed asiago cheese crust was the highlight of my entire day. It's like an Alfredo pasta and a pizza had a ridiculous, cheesy baby, and I mean that in the best possible way. The BBQ sauce and jalapeños on top were incredible. If anything, I wish they'd gone even heavier with both. We also tried a bunch of other pizzas as a group: - Margherita - just okay - Tuscan Vegetarian - surprisingly good - Meat Lovers - classic and solid - Moretti's BBQ - smoky and sweet - House Favorite (thin crust) - super crispy and tasty Everything came out hot, fresh, and loaded with toppings. If you're thinking about going on a Tuesday, either make a reservation or be ready to hang out for a bit. But the food absolutely delivers, and that mac 'n' cheese pizza alone is worth the trip.

As appetizers I got Jalapeño Poppers and a Veggie Basket. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the food and will remember to do so the next time. Let's start with the appetizers: the jalapeño poppers were your typical poppers, nothing special but straightforward. It was cooked properly and good. As for the veggie basket, I was a little disappointed at the amount we received. I expected more pieces but I guess it was ok so we can save room for the main dish. As for the stuffed pizza, it was not cut in perfect triangles and the crust at the cuts were smushed (it seemed like they need to sharpen their pizza cutter or they were training a new hire. The cut doesn't change the taste! It was delicious as normal. Perfect amount of cheese to get a nice cheese pull and the sauce was tangy and slightly has a sweetness to it. The crust was good and had that cheese that gets embedded inside the crust end. So good. The online ordering was easy and delivery came as promised. Overall, if you want good stuffed pizza , give them a try. I certainly will place an order again (hoping the pizza is cut like it is supposed to). If not, I'll certainly take a picture and send it over. I'll give it a 3 star rating today due to the cut of the pizza as the slices were not even and crust was crushed.

It hits all the caprese notes on top of perfectly crisp eggplant: cracked pepper and salt, light balsamic on arugula, tomato, and mozzarella. A slightly more acidic tomato than beefsteak would have cut the richness a bit more, but the eggplant itself is the star. The spicy vodka rigatoni (3.5/5) was a solid pasta with a nicely spiced sauce. We added the meatball and that is the topping to get. Well seasoned, with just the right density, and it would pair well with any pasta. I only wish it were larger for the add-on price. Similarly, for the price of the pasta alone, I had hoped for a higher quality noodle. The rigatoni had that bouncy, boxed-pasta texture rather than the firmer bite you get from fresh or good bronze-cut dried pasta. The hearts of palm salad (3/5) was decent. Fresh tomatoes, firm hearts of palm, and perfectly cooked shrimp. The hearts of palm seem preserved, so the citric acid and the generous dressing make the dish much more acidic than it needs to be, overpowering the other ingredients like the richness of the avocado. Overall, the food is good with a few highlights, the base and add-ons feel a bit pricey, and service, while always kind, can be a little inconsistent. Overall mixed review on this, but maybe should have gone with other dishes.
