Everyone I spoke to, was friendly, helpful, and honest. The affordable cost was really important to me, as I was paying out of pocket. I'm so pleased that I found this hidden gem! Also, be careful not to get stuck on the wrong end of the "alleyway" that is Holley Lane. Enter from White Street. I'd rate Wes Conn's service 6-stars if I could. Thank you!

I checked on Chat to see what it could be and where I should take it to get looked at. ChatGBT recommended not taking it to Nissan, but take it to a local shop & recommended Extreme AutoBody and collision in Danbury, #1. It was around 4 PM when I called the shop and Carlos, the owner, got on the phone. I told him the issue, he asked me if I park indoors or leave my car out. I leave my car outside. Then he said to bring it over. When I got there, he told me he looked at the weather and knew I couldn't wait until tomorrow to have this corrected. He was closing at 5pm...Most places probably would've said I can't help you tonight, but Carlos didn't. I would definitely recommend this shop and Carlos to anybody. Very friendly, found the issue and repaired it within an hour. Carlos explained everything, including making the repair right in front of me. Thank you Carlos & thank you ChatGBT for the recommendation!

I think this place saved my life. Seriously, I was driving around in my 2007 Audi A4 for over a…read moreyear being exposed to exhaust /carbon monoxide. I mentioned that I smelled exhaust to my Audi dealer and they checked it and told me everything was fine. Cut to about 8 months later, when I was really dragging-so tired I couldn't do much exercise and my brain just wasn't working right. Around that time my car started sounding like a lawnmower was running inside the car. I took it to the dealer and they told me to take it to a muffler repair shop. I knew just who to see- the people at USM Discount Muffler, located near where I used to work, across from the bus terminal in Danbury. The owner (Hos) is always on the premises, supervising work and making sure customers are taken care of with a smile, 7 days a week. I called him on late Friday afternoon and he said I could bring it in the next morning, leave it overnight (I had to go out of town for the day) and pick it up on Sunday morning, no problem. Dropping the car off was easy, although the parking is a bit tight, they put my care into one of the bays and kept it there overnight for me, safe and sound. While waiting for my wife to pick me up, I watched the mechanic do work on cars, trucks, and vans. He was quite talented with his welding work, working quickly and accurately. He was a real pro. When I picked up the car the next day, the owner hoisted my car up and showed me exactly where they had cut and welded- turns out my exhaust system was much worse than I thought, but didn't need complete replacement; mainly both flex pipes coming from the engine needed replacement. The difference was immediately noticeable. No more noise from the engine, and my head felt clearer. Gradually over the next few days my energy level increased and I feel back to my old self. The shop was clean, organized. Waiting room was nothing special but clean and perfectly fine for waiting if you need to do that. Price was awesome, really good deal at only 395$ (parts and labor). Service was friendly, courteous, prompt. Quality of the work was excellent. I would definitely recommend using USM Discount Muffler for any exhaust system work. If you are driving around in a vehicle more than 5 years old, you should definitely get the people at USM Discount Muffler to check your exhaust system- it could save your life!
