I have had both my cars serviced by Charlie and all work has been satisfactory. BUT there is no excuse for his recent behavior. After not performing any work on my Porsche Macan for 3 days I stopped to see him. No one was home so I went into my car to close the open windows myself. I found a half empty can of juice in the console and 2 receipts on the seat, one for a pharmacy and a bigger one for a package store! I put the items out of the car and drove my car away, unserviced. Later, my wife discovered a crumpled McDonald's bag with a McNugget's box on the rear floor. It makes my skin crawl to think that my car was used for personal errands and as a trash can. I went there with high hopes. The owner made a lot promises. He did not return my calls for weeks or my messages. He also attempted to perform work on a car I did not ask for. I had to get the police involved due to owner Threats and holding my vehicle. Luckily local PD has had problems with shop in the past, and helped me get my car back with out charges. Know your rights , CT has laws protecting us from fraud, and scammer artist like Danbury Autowerks. They have to have written proof of everything, and written consent. Stay away from this violent shop. They will try and take your money , and make promises they can't keep. read more

Replaced head gasket on 2006 Subaru Impreza. Less than 3 months later, timing belt went. After leaving me stranded and towed 3 hra home, a Subaru mechanic claimed fault caused by "tightening belt was left loose and in addition, several integral bolts missing, 02 sensor left dangling, not attached and furthermore said worst work he had ever seen in his career." Drove over 45 min to this shop and had great service and they were also well knowledgeable about my vehicle. You could tell they cared that you received a good products.
