My wife needed her BMW service and instead of driving to the dealer to sit for three hours for an oil change change, I tried Auto Technic based on a recommendation. Very fair pricing. I've had my Porsche serviced here in the past without complaints. In fact, I'd do service here again. Each and every time I stop in to potentially buy another car, however, the moderately younger guy treats me like a clueless woman and I end up leaving without a purchase. Sad as I could leave with another car in cash. Don't know if it's because I dress casual, am blonde or what. I wanted the Range Rover to take home today but not after being treated like that. DO Yourself A Favor, Do NOT Buy A Car From Here, Avoid This Place At All Costs. The Owner Is A Classic Greedy, Shady, Used Car Salesmen. Long story short, they sold me a giant LEMON with countless problems after telling me that the car had zero issues. Then, they refused to refund me or at least make me whole. The owner, Rob Driscoll Jr, accused me of creating the problems (putting the onus on me) even though I only had the car in my possession for FOUR HOURS before immediately texting(screenshot captured) them that the car had something seriously wrong with it. Additionally, the problems were not possible for me to create as they involved shocks, ball joints, bushings, and other internal mechanisms. These are the kinds of problems that are long-term and easily hidden by a shady mechanic/dealership. They spent over a month allegedly "attempting" to repair the car but could not get the faults to go away. Eventually, I told them I did not want to own a lemon and politely asked them to do the right thing and issue me a full refund. They refused and instead took advantage of me by "purchasing" the car back at a price less than what I paid for it. I lost $2000 here and over a month of stress, anxiety and turmoil. I searched all the local tire centers-stores in the New Milford area, and was generally disappointed with my direct inquiries and what tires were available for my 2004 Volvo Station Wagon, until I visited AutoTechnic. I am from out of town and was visiting my brother. I needed a new set of tires prior to taking a prolonged interstate journey. So being from out of town and needing the tires quickly, I had been in a needy situation. Not one to normally write a review . But had to get this out there . Brought our car in for a check engine light and in the diagnosis of the car as told it was a mass air flow sensor it would be 500 plus to fix. After replacing sensor , light was still on . My wife was told once you get it up to 55 mph it will reset and go out. After the repair we were told the light could be anything so I guess now a days u just keep replacing parts till u find it The computer diagnosis isn't necessary. Left with the car and didn't make it 2.7 miles home before breaking down on the side of the road . When we contacted them they said we would have to get a tow company to bring car in . When meeting the tow driver back at the shop. Someone was doing donuts in a car with dealer plates in the parking lot and that's the point where I put the keys in my pocket and decided not to throw good money after bad . I have been going to Autotechnic regularly after buying a car from them 4 years ago. They keep my old BMW running great without me having to spend a fortune. They know I want to keep this car forever and they are very knowledgeable in helping me do the proper maintenance so I can keep it running. They even pick up and drop off my car when I have work conflicts which is super helpful as I live 40 min away from them. I own a 2010 Mini cooper. I have brought my car in for numerous issues lately. I first had the spark plugs, valve cover gasket and coil packs replaced because the car was misfiring. They fixed this issue but when driving home, my heat did not work. I explained this to Rob @ Auto technic. I brought the car back to them. They did not find an issue (but my heat was still not working). The car was brought back again because it was still misfiring and one of the new spark plugs failed, I mentioned the heat again and still not resolve. A few days later, my water pump failed. After having this replaced by Auto technic and 1,000$ lighter, I asked if they had checked my thermostat when my heat wasn't working, they DID NOT. Thermostat was faulty and they replaced it when doing the water pump. Too little Too late. That's absolutely unacceptable, straight up laziness and most likely the reason why the water pump failed. When driving home this time....my radio was not working. the radio controls all sounds in the car and the chimes were not working (how did they not realize this??). I brought the car back. They said it took 5 hours to diagnose the radio and that the radio was dead and needed to be replaced. 5 hours?!?!? it took me all of 35 mins to take apart my dash, remove the radio and put it back. When doing so, I noticed MULTIPLE screws missing. WTH?!? Today I just noticed my head light on the side the water pump was replaced, is not sitting correctly and was improperly installed back in. Laziness, carelessness, rude on the phone, taking advantage of younger customers. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE MECHANICS. Rob is a nice guy. Jeff is a very rude person. read more

DO NOT BUY OR FIX YOUR CAR HERE!!!! These people are greasier and slimier then the oil in your car and SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED. I bought a 2003 325xi from these rats with the promise it would require very little maintenance because the car only has 70,000 miles on it. When I purchased the car it had brand new Cooper tires on it and I paid extra to have them replaced with my own snow tires and keep the ones that came with the car. When I went to pick it up they told me that my tires had disappeared and gave me old, used, nearly bald tires instead. In addition to having to paint half of the car that was discolored and full of scratches with chipped paint, I have replaced thousands on dollars worth of parts, some twice, within less than 4 months of owning the car. The key to start the car stopped working after 2 weeks of owning the car, which cost $300 to replace. I have needed to change all of my headlights and tail lights (some multiple times) and once instead of charging me $15 for a headlight, they charged me $150 and it took almost a month to get my money back from this "mistake" charge. After only 6 months of owning the car and needing it towed twice, it completely died. The carfax I was given was not true to the condition of the car and none of the parts I was promised would be replaced or fixed before taking the car were. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! I brought my car in for a oil service and the tech noticed I had bad rear tires and since my car is awd I needed to replace all four tires luckily for me they were able to get me a new set of Michelins in a couple hours. The car drives and handle great with the new tires and oil service. read more

I was recently having problems with my A/C. In this heat I needed it fixed as soon as possible. I stopped in, was greeted by one of the friendly owners and they looked at it right away. They have a new system that they hooked up that checks for leaks. Within an hour I was on my way after a short test drive to make sure everything was working properly. Sweet relief! My air conditioning was fixed..and for a great price! read more
