Feel like this place is a Chicago north side institution. Solid sports bar! Service and food are great as well. They also have events and concerts and such.

Amazing place all around! Great for game day, concerts or just a night out!! Their game day buckets are great! HIGHLY recommend the nachos!! Huge, literally never ending, well portioned and sturdy chips! Our server was truly a super hero!! The place was packed and she came through often!! Very impressed with her! Place can get very crowded and loud on game day. So be prepared!

this bar is nice, on a thursday evening it was very empty in the interior but was quite busy on the rooftop. the bloody mary was delicious and the transfusion was also really good with a very strong grape flavor. you couldn't really taste the ginger beer in it though, i only just now realized it was even meant to have ginger beer in it. the food was good too, especially as far as bar food goes! we got the loaded tater tots and the chicken burger and they were both substantial and yummy.

When to watch a basketball game. Whole we uber there, there is street parking around. There are two different rooms. They took reservations for this event. They have tvs all around for your sporting events. They also offer a lot of late night events, which you can see on their website. Example a color party this evening 10pm-4am. The chicken nachos were good, about a 45-minute wait due to a game playing, but we were informed about the time prior to ordering. The food did come to the table hot.

Came here with my sister in law for the Spencer Crandall concert & meet/greet! The venue is awesome! The front has high top tables and bar seating like a normal bar/restaurant but the back room is HUGE! Large stage for performers and 3 bars for cocktail service. There is also a balcony area. Music / sound system sounded amazing and filled the room! They also had White Claw which is a big plus! Staff was super friendly and I will definitely be back for another show soon!

Great music and energetic dancing. Loved it.

First time there as I had tickets for the WXRT popup show for Sierra Ferrell. Parking around the corner at the garage was around $10 for 5 hours. Lots of suited security. Think they were there because of the event. Coat check is $4 per item. Ladies room has two stalls of which only one locked. Heineken Silver sponsored giveaways were a nice touch. Other reviews on here go into detail about the concert space so no need for me to repeat. I had a spot at the front left of the stage area. There's a staircase to an upper seat/viewing section for VIPs I assume. Prior to the start of the show, I set my drink on the railing ledge so I could insert my earplugs. Security dude lost it. Started shouting that I was not allowed to reach over the railing. Seriously he was yelling. You would have thought I was putting a picnic blanket down at the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier! Something along the lines of "Sorry, you're not allowed ...." in a normal tone would have gone a long way. I won't be coming back to Joe's.

I came to Joe's for the Rod Tuffcurls & The Bench Press concert with some friends, and loved my entire experience here! Joe's itself has a large set up in the front, with plenty of seating and TVs to catch a sporting event. We grabbed a drink here before heading to the back room where the concert was being held. The concert was located in the very back in a separate area. They also had a section dedicated to a fun photobooth and merch. The band played an epic show that had my friends and I singing and dancing till the very last song. The sound quality and lighting were great - my sound engineer brother would've been impressed! Before the concert even started, the music was on point and they were playing The Office clips on the TVs which I thought was awesome. For how busy it was, the bartenders were never rude and very quick to serve. Drinks were also stupid cheap for what we were getting. Usually, bars upsell and overcharge during big events and concerts, but I didn't feel like that was the case at Joe's. I'd highly recommend this spot for a concert! We had such an amazing night here!

Clean and well-organized place with about 8 TV's and bar and table seating. Drinks were great and the wine list is very good. Mid-priced and higher end wines. There is an upstairs area that's a little more loungier whereas the downstairs can get more rowdy on game day. We came during the championship game, and this was the perfect spot to be. We came early to be able to snag some bar seats upstairs and enjoy multiple drinks and food. Drinks are great - some cocktails and beers are only offered downstairs. Food was a mix: Chimichurri cauliflower: smaller portion than I expected, nothing special I'd skip this dish. Ceasar salad: dressing is very heavy on the anchovy paste, otherwise good portion and veggies. Loaded fries: huge portion with lots of great toppings, though I wish their fries were more 'fry' like versus potato skin-like. Chicken tenders: I got this with sweet potato fries, and they were way too salty. The chicken tenders were 4 skimpy pieces of chicken, and I was charged for extra dipping sauces and ketchup. The spicy mango habanero and buffalo are good - skip the garlic parmesan. I will most definitely be back for the vibes, drinks, and service. I'm hoping the food is just working on some kinks and will get better the next time!

I think there were some kind of corporate happy hour happening in the back, but a friend and myself just came in for quick drinks. I usually don't drink on the weekdays, so I ended up just getting an iced tea and him a tequila soda, but because I don't drink, we decided to get an appetizer and we browsed the menu for a minute and ended up splitting the Parmesan chicken egg rolls. Truthfully, I really just wanted to see what that would entail because it seemed a little disgusting or maybe even some kind of high-food, but to my surprise, it was actually a really crispy skinned pizza roll. I'm pretty sure it had been previously frozen, but in that moment- served with a side of marinara, I didn't really care. It was full of gooey melted mozzarella cheese and almost like a breaded chicken nugget center. Pretty decent as far as bar food goes. They also had crab rangoon to which I thought, "hmm are they doing a little too much?!" I'm sure drunk me would have gotten them years ago so what can ya do. Overall, quite a positive experience. The bartender was really sweet and everything wasn't super expensive. I've been in the neighborhood for such a long time, but I've actually never been here and I'm glad I came on a night that it wasn't chaotic.
