Call Joe first. I wish I had; it would have saved me the time and confusion of dealing with other contractors. We now have a go-to electrician who delivers exactly what he promises. I highly recommend Joe for any electrical work. read more

Joe is the man! I got his info from a good friend of mine who had him install a tv mount for their patio. Glad I did. Joe installed 2 light fixtures and a fan in our patio. He also installed 2 tv mounts. He's a professional with a great work ethic and attention to detail. And his fees are very reasonable. I'm actually having him come back to do some handy man jobs that I've meant to do for a couple years. Hire Joe! He'll fix you up! read more

Half the lights in my apartment went out, and Joe rushed to show up the very day we contacted him. He immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it in mere minutes. He explained the problem and how he was fixing it. Extremely competent guy with a wide range of expertise who I will certainly be hiring again when the need arises. I'm so relieved to have found a skilled and honest electrician I can recommend to friends and family. read more

I contacted Joe Rios Electric to track down an issue related to my dining room light. Joe is reliable, very fair priced, and professional. He does the work himself and really just gets down to work. In my case, Joe was able to troubleshoot three issue, install a new light fixture, and work on the breaker panel to eliminate "light pulsing" caused when other appliances are in use. Joe does require a 2 hour min charge. I def recommend Joe Rios Electric. read more

There are two types of people; one who does a half ass job just to get paid, and the other is Joe, who is persistent, passionate and loves what he does. Joe was so helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, trustworthy, honest and very responsive. Met him twice and we trust him wholeheartedly. We had him pre-wire, install two pendant lights, ceiling fans and a chandelier. He is now currently fixing up our other home. Joe took his time, paid very close attention to detail and made it perfect. He's a perfectionist; his work is so clean, you can't even tell anything was cut. He even went above and beyond to buy several lightbulbs to see which ones I liked. I would recommend him to all my family, friends and neighbors! My only regret is not meeting Joe sooner! Stop debating and call Joe. I promise, you will get the best electrician and/or handyman around. read more

Want an honest, reliable and fair electrician? Look no further. Joe is the real deal. So glad I found him through yelp. I called a few electricians before finding Joe. We purchased our home and he helped by installing our Tesla charger, recessed lighting and outlets. Trustworthy and just an great guy. read more

Joe is one of the best electricians in the business, We have hired him many times to lift plugs behind mounted TV's. He does not tear apart walls to run the wiring, it's all hidden behind the wall. No drywall nor paint damage. Just a perfect plug behind the TV 5 feet up. He has also added electricity to an outdoor pool house and repaired the main electrical line on the roof mount. Half our outlets and lights didn't work and he knew immediaetly it was the main line on the roof. Sure enough we had one of the two lines burnt. He is very honest, hard working and gets the job done timely. No job is to big nor to small. I rate him a 10 out of 10. I will only go with Joe and we have electricians in our family. Now that is saying something... Thank you Joe, you truly have been a life saver... read more

Joe is quick to respond and fixed a commercial appliance that I've already had 2 electricians work on. The others "fixed" it, but the wiring and install was so ghetto that I didn't feel it was safe. Joe re-did all the wiring and installed it correctly so it looks great and like it was done by a professional. I feel much safer using it now, and we will be using his services for all of our electrical needs from now on. His charges are well worth the service and quality you receive. read more

After calling a few Electricians, I came across Joe's page. Its hard to find a trust worthy electrician so I am very glad I found Joe. He was able to fix my electrical panel up to code and install a few outlets around the house. He is honest and tells you exactly what he plans to do before he does it. All the outlets work and I am happy customer. I will be definitely using him again and will refer him to all my friends! read more

Joe was a consummate professional. He had great communication and promptly arrived at my residential. The recent rain damaged some of our breakers inside my electrical panel. Instead of just replacing the breakers, Joe wanted to understand the source where the water was coming from since it was supposed to be enclosed. He troubleshooted in a logical way and educated me at the same time. I'm definitely coming back to Joe with any electrical needs for the future. Thanks Joe! read more

Joe installed a ceiling fan and a sense energy monitor in my electrical panel. He is a very knowledgeable and inquisitive guy. It was a pleasure working with him on this project. I'm looking forward to needing his skills again read more

Joe answered when we called. He was able to work us into his schedule quickly, and provided some advice on our specific situation until he could get there. He was easy to communicate with over the phone, texting and exchanging photos. He provided photos of equipment for us to choose from, on the way to our home. He charged a very reasonable price for the job. We were happy to give him a 'little extra' in appreciation. He provided a receipt for the equipment. After the fact, we found out he's part of our proud military, which made us feel even better about hiring him. Would absolutely hire him again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Joe! We'll be happy to pass your name on to our friends. read more

One of our outlet in the backyard had tripped last night out of no where but might be due to the harsh rain and wind. My relative had kept Joe's info last time he was over at their house to fix an issue. So they had suggested to have Joe to look into ours. Today I had got in touch with Joe and he responded within 5 min and set a schedule to come over. He was finishing up a job and he would head on over. He texted when he was done and to give me a heads up he will arrive at a certain time. He arrived on time. It took him only less than an hour to check the issue and change what was needed. It was raining hard and he still drove from OC to San Gabriel Valley. After he finished fixing our issue, he was pretty soaked wet from the rain. We asked some questions and he took the time to explain to us and I like how he cares a lot about safety. He doesn't talk in ways like he knows everything and he knows better and you don't. He's very easy to talk to. It's really hard to find a honest, knowledgeable, and reliable electrician. Joe's contact info is saved on our phone as "Joe the only electrician to call" read more

Joe is a great electrician. He's super knowledgeable, detail oriented, and fast, which is great. But even greater is that he's very pleasant to be around and easy to work with. Needed an electrician ASAP. Called several but to no avail. Found Joe on Yelp and from the time he answered the phone and I explained what was going on, he responded with assurance that he would find the problem. During his travel time, he kept me updated on his approximate arrival time. I was very impressed and felt more comfortable with choosing him. When he arrived, he made quite a few assessments before he made the call as to what the problem was. Believing that I had a major situation to deal with, he remained on task and wouldn't leave before he could fix the problem and "HE DID". It was refreshing to have a service person to care and I am so appreciative for him. I told him that he definitely earned a spot on my favorite list and will recommend him to all I know. I called Joe after a previous electrician did not fix the problem for my mom and he was able to fit us in the next day. Upon arriving and in his Mask, he immediately asked us to walk him through the previous electricians steps and what we were told, after, he was able to find the problem quickly. While repairing the issue he showed us exactly what he was doing and explained why, this was the first time any repair person has been so engaging. He handled the problem in less then 2 hours and never once tried to upsell us. We are planning a remodel soon and wouldn't do it without Joes knowledge and experience. read more

I called Joe as a new customer hoping for a quick response to fix a (mostly) dead circuit in my condo. Joe graciously agreed to come out the same day, despite not knowing me from Adam and already having a full schedule, even into the night, as I found out later. He communicated multiple times before he arrived since he was running a bit behind (one man show--this is how the service industry works!), which is no longer as common a courtesy as one might hope, but is much appreciated. Once he arrived, he introduced himself, got a quick lay of the land, and got to work troubleshooting. After checking the first couple of things but having not fixed anything yet, everything was "magically" working. He had already identified one bad outlet so he replaced that and I told him I'd let him know if anything comes back up. It's the way of the world that when the professional arrives, everything shapes up and behaves. Well, it's also the way of the world that after the professional leaves, it all goes wrong again, and that's what happened that night. I let Joe know and he came back out the next day. This time everything stayed nicely messed up for him and he found multiple bad outlets and some fried wiring (it's an old house, what can you do?). He got everything buttoned up lickety-split and gave me tons of great info and advice along the way. On top of the great service, communication, and responsiveness, the price was right! I already have him quoting out a bigger job for me. Joe, I can't thank you enough for your values as a small business owner. You are a hard worker and an all around good dude. You've got another customer for life! read more

I needed someone quick to come over on a weekend to take a look at a humming power outlet in the kitchen that kept tripping throughout the day. Joe was very responsive, easy to coordinate with and showed up as promised. He was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job troubleshooting the issue. Within the hour we were all fixed and ready to go. He clearly explained the issue and I felt completely confident in the work performed and sleep well knowing that the house wasn't going to burn down in my sleep. I am so pleased with the work that he did. Joe was great and I will definitely call him back for any future electrical work, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a good electrician. read more
