Loved the crispy noodle, the seafood soup, green beans , cold cuts and salty fried pork's. At the end they served dessert almond jelly . Overall Chinese foods at it's great. Ambiance was airy and spacious. .

Nonetheless, I decided to give it a try. The interior of this branch is very relaxing. The decorations, the design of the tables and the hall itself resemble the traditional design of Chinese restaurants, but the use of light colors and bright lighting makes one feel at ease here. The service is very timely and cordial. This restaurant is perfect for large groups of people celebrating birthdays, baptisms, and other life events. If you are looking for a relatively quiet dining place, this is not your cup of tea. Keeping with its Chinese theme, Luk Foo offers a wide variety of classic Chinese foods, such as yang chow rice, Chinese-style chicken, dumplings, and pancit canton. Whether your order is for solo meals or groups, the servings are really large. In fact, our group went home with a lot of leftovers that were consumed the next few days. Customers will have their appetites satisfied and they all taste delicious. I particularly enjoyed its version of cream dory, which is crispy and tender at the same time. The meals are also really cheap given the serving size. Honestly, this may be one of the most affordable restaurants I have ever been in. If you are in the Caloocan area craving for Chinese food with your friends and family, Luk Foo in Puregold Caloocan is probably the best Chinese-themed restaurant in the area.

It is very accessible, located right along the main highway in Metro Manila, with plenty of parking spaces available. This branch features two floors with a classy interior that should please customers. There is plenty of space inside, which makes it ideal for gatherings. While the first floor features the regular dining area, a section for the restaurant's bakery, and displays showing the history of the franchise, the second floor is reserved for reserved events. The dining environment is clean and the service is efficient and delightful. The food offered is the restaurant's classic take on Filipino cuisines. The meals are served relatively quickly and warm, and the wide selection of meals should appeal to everyone. Its signature fried chicken is a favorite of mine and my family's, which is tender and sure to fill your appetite. Its pancit canton, shrimp sinigang, and boneless bangus are other dishes that are recommended for those wanting to dine in this branch. Its desserts, while good, are average compared to the entrees. If you are looking for a good place around the Caloocan area to dine and celebrate an joyous occasion, I recommend Max's branch along EDSA. Nothing says a good dining experience more than good food, good environment, and good moments with family and friends.

I also like that it doesn't take much to make - just a couple ingredients tossed in with some good noodles and you're good to go. For me, pancit is that quintessential Filipino dish that should be present in every party (if only to be left over and packed in aluminum foil pillows, to be taken home and eaten later). My favorite is Pancit Malabon, and wherelse to get the best Pancit Malabon than in the place that gave it its name. Real Pancit Malabon should have thick and fat bihon noodles that were boiled until they are almost mushy, and not as tender or al dente as regular spaghetti pasta. It should also have a variety of toppings, and the best ones should have seafood, pork, and chicken combined. I tried Dolores' Pancit Malabon when I went to the city for a writing assignment. The serving was so huge and it was really delicious. I chatted with one of the owners and they told me that the branch there has been around for a long time. . Many other places like Nanay's Pancit offer family recipes that have been handed down for generations, but Dolores is one of the more popular ones due to their generous toppings of squid, shrimp, egg, veggies and chicharon. The pancit is also great when served with their signature puto, or soft steamed rice cakes.
