Do not recommend. The sides were good, but the meats were terrible. BBQ had more fat chunks than meat.

We arrived just before our reservation time and were seated immediately. The restaurant is warm and has a cozy feeling to it. Having been in business since the 60's I expected that it must be amazing, and I was not disappointed. Our server was friendly and super-efficient. The timing of the courses was on point, and I was brought a new glass of prosecco each time I needed one. The first thing to come to the table is the cheese and crackers. I had read about this but when it came, I still didn't really know how to feel about it. It is a glob of cheese spread on a small plate, served with a basket of crackers in wrappers. We tried it, it wasn't bad, but we didn't eat much. Next was the calamari appetizer. They were good for the most part, some were on the chewy side. We both next enjoyed the broccoli cheddar soup, as well as a house salad for me. The soup was creamy with nice large pieces of broccoli in it. The salad was a miss for me, the lettuce was a little wilty and the veggies didn't have a fresh crunch to them. I was ok to set that to the side and wait for the main course. Our server did come over to let us know that there were 20 or more steaks on the grill ahead of ours and that it might be a long wait. She asked me did I want to keep the salad just to have something to snack on. This made me nervous. We did wait about 25 minutes for the steaks to come out, but it was well worth it in my opinion. I had ordered a NY strip, cooked medium rare, with a side of broiled scallops and a bearnaise sauce on the side. The steak was cooked immaculately, with a nice char, great flavor from the grill and the perfect amount of pink in the center for my liking. I had a twice baked potato, that was lacking a little, but I almost didn't care. The scallops were ok. They are using really small scallops, and they were cooked a little too much. The bearnaise was decadent and perfect. Also, at the time of our entrees being delivered, we got a basket with two rolls that she said were fresh out of the oven, but i never tried them. I again, cannot say enough good things about the steak. The dessert tray came out last, and we chose cake to come home with us. I enjoyed the chocolate cake later on in the evening and it was delicious. Overall great meal and experience. It is on the pricy side, but we also chose many items and add ons. I think it was worth it for the meal we had.

Normally I go straight for brisket or ribs, but they told me they're known for their burnt ends, so I decided to try the burnt ends plate. After I paid and sat down for a bit, they came back and told me they had run out of burnt ends. They offered to substitute another meat and refund the difference. I switched to brisket and told them not to worry about the refund. To their credit, they gave me whatever burnt ends they had left along with the brisket, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the meat itself was disappointing. At first glance, the brisket did not look promising. The slices were very lean with almost no visible fat, no smoke ring, no pink, just gray-brown throughout. The bark was minimal and patchy. It looked dry before I even took a bite, and it ate exactly how it looked. The meat was firm, tight-grained, and lacked moisture. I ended up having to drink water between bites and could only finish about half before taking the rest home. The burnt ends weren't much better. They were dark and sauced on the outside, but they also leaned dry instead of tender and juicy. Not the rich, sticky, melt-in-your-mouth burnt ends I was hoping for. I got baked beans and potato salad for sides. I'm not sure if they make them in-house or if they're premade, but they were decent. Not amazing, not bad. They just didn't make up for the meat. I really wanted to like this place, especially after they recommended the burnt ends so confidently. I appreciate that they tried to make it right when they ran out, and that was good customer service. But at the end of the day, barbecue lives and dies by the meat, and this just didn't deliver.

Stopped here for lunch with a friend and was thoroughly impressed!…read more I was going to get an order of burnt ends then I saw they had a taco trio of pulled pork, beef, and burnt ends; problem solved! The food was amazing and service was fast and friendly. They also offer freshly butcher beef and pork that looks INCREDIBLE! I also tried the Texas Caviar which was good but not really my style. 5/5 stars, will absolutely be back!
