The nurse was clear and efficient with her instructions. Dr. Wade came in shortly after and completed my annual and discussed my issues. She is very approachable and gave me suggestions on how to manage my issues. I'm very thankful for her care and hope to continue with her for a long time.

Over time I started feeling a bit of a rushed feeling then I started feeling dismissed after my tests came back normal. I've still been struggling with those same symptoms on top of new ones that make the first ones worse. I went to see her yesterday for the new symptoms and the second I started explaining that I was still having the same ones she cut me off and told me she didn't want to talk about those symptoms since the tests came back normal and wanted to focus on the new ones. I was taken aback but switched to the current symptoms. Since the new ones exacerbate the old ones I had to talk about it. And she didn't not like that and told me the results were fine and I was just going to have to accept that this was it. I told her I felt dismissed because the cardiologist I got referred to did not even see me for a follow up she had referred me for. Instead he had his receptionist call and cancel my appointment. She seemed a bit surprised by that and just said she'd review his notes again. At one point she told me she sensed some anxiety from me and I told her yes. My health has been declining for the last year and I'm frustrated and anxious cause I can't eat in fear of making things worse. She then asked if I had a therapist and when I said I was looking to go to one she told me that was good as mental can make physical health worse. I agreed but told her I did not think my symptoms stemmed from that. At some point I said I'd like to leave as I knew I wasn't being heard. We talked more. She told me she thought that there was something physically wrong but my tests came back fine so that was that and I had to accept it and to talk to a therapist about it. When I pushed back and said I would like to see another cardiologist for a second opinion she told me I had seen the best medical professionals available and that I needed to accept it and she felt like I was dismissing her. I told her I appreciated the tests ordered but that I would like to know what is wrong. Shortly after she asked if I wanted to leave and I left. I did get some information for my new symptoms but the overall experience was bad.

After returning the paperwork I waited at least 30 minutes and was then called back to the front desk. At that point I was told I had to reschedule and come another time. Dr. Sievers wouldn't see me because I was supposed to arrive 20 min. early to fill out the forms. I hadn't been told this when I made the appt. The day before the appt they left a voicemail saying 'Please arrive at 3:05'. They did not say 'You must arrive at 3:05 or your appt may be forfeited'. The front office person and physician's asst were sympathetic but couldn't do anything about it because it was Dr. Siever's decision. I've never before had an experience like this of a dr being so rigid and inflexible, making me leave because I was a few minutes late, and not even clearly communicating her policy so I would know. I'm not going back. I don't want to see a dr like that. I'll find someone else.

She thinks nothing of sticking her nose into the medication that other doctors have prescribed and telling the patient to not take it or the treatment the specialist prescribed. She needs to mind her own business in her field of medication and treatment of RA. She can be rude and condescending to the patient. I am sohapot to know there are other RA DOCTORS in Ventura County. I am so glad to have been able to find a great 5 star rated RA in Ventura County. Go to all the other web sites and see h e reviews under Tammy Cheng and her married name now Tammy Sievers.

I had the first appointment of the day. Dr. Porch was running an hour late and they let us just sit in the room without knowing what was going on. When I came out of the room an hour after we were taken in they let me know she will be in with us as soonn as she gets there. When she got there she decided to take a different appointment who was scheduled after us first. It was an hour and 45 minutes before we even saw the Dr. I asked her why she took another appointment before us and she said sorry i thought it was going to be a quick one. It really wasnt fair to us. She had no medical history reviewed for our appointment and perscribed us medicine we had already been taking. They preformed a sctracth test but did not inform me that would cost a lot extra. They said they would follow up in a few months. She never called back never offered another appointment never checked in. We felt like she did not even care about us. We got a bill months later and when we discussed what happpened and they completley dropped the ball they wouldnt even offer a penny off the bill. We paid inn full and I let themknow I would be writting a review. I hope you find a Dr that cares about the patients. However in our eperience this is not the one.
