Over 7 years ago, I found Marshall as I was getting ready to get married and he gave me what I…read moreconsider the best cut and trim ever. I have followed him ever since. I actually live out of state and book time with him when I am in Utah. Barbers have been the place you go to for a sense of community and Marshall continues that tradition. He knows you. He's also a master artist within his trade. He knows exactly what looks best on you. I would 100% recommend booking some time with Marshall. It's well worth the time and money.

Charice is wonderful. I have had my locs for a whole year now which is crazy to believe!…read more The process of getting them can be long and tedious but Charice made it fun! Lots of movies, music, and snack breaks. I have heard that crocheting locs can be painful but I didn't feel a thing! She nailed my sections and it has made maintenance so much easier as time has gone on. I have loved my hair in this unique hairstyle, it has been a wonderful journey. My only regret is not finding Charice years earlier! Cheers! :-)

My Dr has had me start tanning 3 times a week as an alternative therapy for a rare medical…read morecondition. I have to tan in different cities during the week depending on my school schedule so I chose Gold N Glow because there is a location near home and near my school. I paid for a month unlimited pass at the Springville location, tried to use it at the Provo location the next day and they told me that the two were no longer associated. The staff at the Springville location did not tell me about the split when I bought the pass, even after we talked about how I intended to use both locations. I tried to get my money back so I could find another salon that worked better for me and they refused. Their reason being that they were "in the process" of changing their name and the change was posted in the salon for a month after it initially happened. I asked them if the notice was posted when I purchased my pass and they admitted it wasn't but still refused to refund my money. I do not have the money to buy a pass at another salon and because I have to tan 3x's a week for it to be an effective treatment for my condition, I will have to leave school early 2x's a week in order to get to this location before closing for the next 27 days.

Lou's is the only place I go now for myself and my boys. Kind, thoughtful, and frankly -- I love…read morethat now I'm one of the 'regulars', and Lou knows how I like my hair cut. That means a lot to me, because my cuts are consistently fantastic and I can count on looking my best all the time. Well, as best as an old, cranky man CAN look, but that's a different issue, and not Lou's problem. Here's what you should know about Lou specifically: he communicates with you. He wants you to be delighted, not content, with your haircut. His attention to detail and personal service is what we're missing in many businesses today, who use that damn COVID bs as an excuse to fail at their profession. Not Lou. If you haven't visited their location, I recommend it. You just might end up like me, and never even consider another barber again.

I now have embarrassing scabs that make it look like I don't know how to shave. It was very painful when they put the stuff on the cuts to stop the bleeding. They didn't apologize or even mention the cuts when they were finished. I saw people get haircuts and they didn't look all that great, but if you want a shave DEFINITELY don't go here.
