Total customer service rock stars. I've always been annoyed at the lines, which can be long. Today I found out why. The lady at the cutting counter was helping a customer get another piece of fabric for a product, telling her counterpart at the other store exactly how to cut it. When it was my turn, she pointed out that my purchase was expensive (yes, I know, I thought) then told me where I can download a coupon. Sweet! She saved me 20 bucks! And yeah, they have everything! read more

Jayne has been an absolute delight. She's helping my friend with patterns and fabrics and cutting and helping her with a big project. She's doing it all with a smile and is so thoughtful and kind. She's like sunshine! Give this person a raise ! Great store we will definitely be coming back to this specific store to get help from Jayne ! Also helped make sure she got her military discount and best deals! Thanks! read more

The selection is huge, and staff was more than happy to help me find fabrics. I did not feel rushed into buying a fabric that I hesitated on. They reminded me I could come back for it another time, which was very assuring. I did not feel like they were pressing me to spend more than I felt comfortable spending. The lady, cutting my fabrics was patient, and very charismatic Tori, who checked me out at the register was helpful in giving me tips for sewing and very personable. The items I paid for at the end of the day were reasonable. I am so thankful I chose this business to get the fabric I needed. My one suggestion is that they organize the fabrics a bit more. read more

See all

Friendly staff & everything is on reduced price since they are closing. Not a lot of variety but still managed to find some good stuff

Thanks to this Joanns I was able to get all the supplies I needed to teach myself how to make pressed flower jewelry like I've wanted to learn how to make for forever now! Their selection is soo much better then the one in Boulder, like it felt like a completely different store almost! read more

JOANN Fabric and Crafts - Fabric Stores Near Me - Westminster, Colorado

Only because I can't leave less than one. Have now walked out 4...yes 4 ...times. One checker and a line. Customer service is in the dumps. Last time was my LAST. Should be out of business. read more

What a dirty, cluttered mess! What's happening here? Sweep. Pick up. Care. This store is heading downhill fast.

This is a horrible shopping experience. None of the coupons work- they are all just lies. I don't know why they want you in the store when they are such jerks and only care about the online orders. Snarky check out guys like John Worthington, make the whole experience so horrible I'd rather just stay inside and quit sewing. Thanks Joann, you guys used to really be something. Now you just suck. read more

The store is poorly managed. This is the main reason I'm giving this location 2 stars. I originally wrote a review about a year ago and went to update it but only to find that my review is almost exactly the same so nothing has changed. The store is always clean and fully stocked but I walk out of the store not purchasing my item at least 75% of the time. This is because almost every time I'm at this store and I get to the front with my items there's at least 10 people waiting to be cashed out and only one cashier. I usually can't find anyone to assist me either. If this wasn't the only Joanne fabrics near me I would not come here anymore. read more

Very rude staff, very obviously long lines. Refused to sell to us, as we had to stand a very long line just to earn the right to buy from them, even when they could have told us we needed to do that when we were having them take something down from a high shelf. Again, were exceptionably rude. Customers are were exceptionably rude. Do not shop at this store, it is unacceptable how they treat customers. read more

I would give a negative rating if that was possible. I agree the customer service is atrocious, the store is a mess and much of the staff is not knowledgeable about anything in the store. I am a professional seamstress so I often need to run in for a single small item or two and it always takes forever, even when I know exactly what I need and where to find it. I had an ugly encounter with the current manager - (who looked like she had just crawled out of bed, in a grungy, wrinkled sweatshirt), the store was busy. I don't live near any other sewing resources that are open on Sunday, or I would not have been there. All this being said there are knowledgeable helpful staff occassionally. I would hope they would work to improve their customer service with all the changes. I appreciate how hard retail sales can be and especially on weekends. But I cannot imagine having a manager of the store tell a regular customer they are not welcome - that they do not need my business. read more

This store has always been cluttered and disorganized so I usually go to the Thornton store. However this store showed this store has the items I wanted on their website. When I got notice of pick up I wasn't informed that 2 of the items I ordered were out of stock. So after waiting for 12 minutes in line (one checker with no backup, yes I asked). I was supposed to receive a $5 for any purchase I made when I picked up my order. Bottom line the clerk knew nothing about it and called for the manager. The manager was rude, chomping on gum the whole time. He had to credit my order and re-ring it. Any questions I asked him was responded with a curt answer. I never received an apology for the inconvenience for the missing items, having to wait on line or him having to re-ring my order. It was like a chore for him to provide me with an offer made by corporate. I won't be back.... read more

Never again will I place an online order with JoAnn's. As a domestic (US) company, it took 13 days just to ship, and should arrive in 16 days. No reply from CS on order status until it shipped so they could make their reply seem positive. The holiday season is busy for all retailers. This organization has clearly not figured it out. read more

I have been to this store 4 times to try to give them ample opportunity before I reviewed them. They are your average Joann's. Yarn selection is pretty good and it's across the street from a hobby lobby so if you can't find what you need at one the other one usually has it. There is no way this store is ADA compliant as I have had to push displays out of The way for old people in wheel chairs to get by 2 of the 4 times I've been here. I don't usually need much help. I find what I want have my coupons ready to go. Am pleasant at check out counter and yet every single time the person checking me out has been an enormous jerk. 4 different people have checked me out. Every single one is pissed that they are at work I guess. I'll never come back to this store. read more

I'm pretty sure this is the physical embodiment of Dante's 9th circle of hell... they had what I was looking for, but I think they could have given a little more effort on being a decent human being to the customers??? read more

The reviews speak for themselves, if you are familiar with working with fabric then you might be okay, but if you are unsure of what you're needing and looking for assistance avoid this place and it's employees who are waiting to patronize you read more

This was my go to store for fabric and craft supplies, but all good things must end. The coupons I used to get in the paper. Tnen they went to online only. Tonight i tried to buy something and was told I have to go their app. I asked the manager how to get it. She lookef at my phone and said. "you have an android but you are on the apple site " then walked away. At 71 years old,I don't need that much hassle. Hobby Lobby still has coupons in the paper and they just built a store across the street from Joanns. Joanns will likely lose a few senior customers. I know enough to do the necessary things on my phone, but i like "customer friendly" shopping. Bye Joann's. read more

I would give negative stars if the option existed, this store has the biggest bunch of know nothins with zero customer service skills. Their entrance is also super dangerous and almost shut on my child's hand because there is no sensor to prevent it from snapping shut after it opens, what a liability - you would think the store would do something about that before someone gets killed. the sooner this place closes the better, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS especially if you have kids who could be injured or worse by their ridiculous automatic non people detecting front door, funny, that would also describe all the employees - who were unable to answer super basic questions and had zero interest in helping - HORRIBLE drive the extra couple miles to Michael's read more

I've gone into this Joann's multiple times and have never had such disrespect customer service by the cashiers. It is truly disappointing: Two days in a row I have come this Joann's and by two different women I was talked down to as if I didn't know about the fabrics and products I was choosing and also about the terms of coupons I received in my email. Instead of the common courtesy I should have received I was spoken to as if I knew nothing and would soon be regretting the purchase I was making: while another customer was helped and even had the cutting counter calculate the yardage she needed for her project. When she clearly was unaware of her needs the counter stopped helped her with patience and kindness yet even though I knew exactly what my project needed and entailed I was not helped the same way. I have never been so disappointed nor disrespected in all my years of crafting. read more

I prefer to come here for all of my quilting and jewelry making supplies even though Hobby Lobby is across the street. The employees here are way friendlier and eager to help and answer questions. Great sales too...70% off beads tonight! Last week when I was in buying some fat quarters and bead strands, the girl at the register applied some coupons for me, effectively cutting my total in half. Every visit here has been a pleasant one. read more

Clean and well stocked. I'm used to small indie craft shops so shopping at Joanns kinda hurts my "shop small" heart - but you can't beat their prices, and the staff - who're all local - are always friendly. When you head there load up any current coupons from their site for great savings. read more

I went right when they opened so they werent busy. Staff was friendly. I found way more thsn i went for. Will be back.

Why is everyone in this store (employees and customers) so angry? I've been a few times and each time, the cashier basically just grunted at me. No one has ever offered assistance. The person in front of me in line became incensed because she thought I was standing to close to her. I guess their prices are okay, but it's really not worth it. read more

Snooty staff! When asked about price matching it's like I asked for the devils blood. I'll happily drive to a competitor with better prices. *cough *cough Michaels and it's only ten minutes up the road from this location. I understand I'm not over 40 and out of my child bearing years but I do enjoy my creative side and will give my money to another company. read more

We spent a lot of money here and the employee's were not very happy that we were there. Grouchiest team ever. We will not be back. Extremely unpleasant experience. Whoever runs this place need to take a class on customer service and then send all of their irritable staff. read more

I was shopping for a diamond dotz craft and got to the checkout after waiting 15-20 minutes in line. We were also returning an item without a receipt and the lady told us that we needed a manager to return the item. She continued to check us out and we told her we wanted to add the returned items value to the new item. She called back to the manager and the manager told her to tell us that we should leave and come back later or go to a different store. Very upset in the service from the manager and since we have supported this Joann for many years. Will not be going back to that location. read more

The store itself was clean and stocked full. However the staff was rude and seemed very irritated with me asking where stickers and envelopes were. The first employee huffed n told us they had none and the second employee that I asked seemed to get almost upset that we were speaking to her n told us if they had any look by stationary n then turned her back on us. Upon looking myself some more I found both stickers and envelopes hmmm.... No help from the rude staff. read more

I spent 40 minutes in this store looking for items for a simple craft project for my classroom with no offer for help; okay, no problem. When I finally found what I needed, I looked for a store clerk for a simple question. I found them all chatting behind the fabric counter. I was approached like I was in the wrong line, and, after I asked my question, I was responded to like I was an idiot. I gladly put down my items, and I'll make the extra trip to a different craft store. First and last time in! read more

Wish I could give the JoAnn's in Westminster, Colorado no stars. I went in today Monday April 17. The store was not busy but I agree with other posts that the employees are not happy and seemed annoyed that I was shopping. No one wanted to help me. I finally located someone to get something for me that required an employee key. The woman seemed very "put upon" to have to help me. I have shopped at JoAnn's for years but today was my last day at the Westminster store. What is the matter? My experience with the Notrhglenn store has usually been positive. Guess I will have to shop there all the time. What is the matter Westminster store? read more

I visited this JoAnn's today for material and not only were the employees rude, so were the other patrons. I had to wait to have the fabric cut while the employee who started mine stopped to discuss her dislike of another employee taking their lunch break with the woman cutting fabric next to her. I had several shoppers push their carts in front of me because they could not wait to look at what I was looking at. Then at check out, there was a sign that said enter here to check out (which we found out was NOT where you enter) and the employees nor the other shoppers had the courtesy to tell us and we ended up with 4 shoppers ahead of us where the line actually started and as a male shopper was leaving he laughed at us and asked if we could read! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! The check out lady was rude also, as she ignored my children who were trying to ask her a question and seemed more interested in rushing us out of the store. I realize a store can't control it's rude shoppers attitudes, but they can their employee's. Way to go JoAnn's! read more

Well I normally don't have a negative experience at Joanns, today was another story. I went in with my mom for fabric and when we finally got to the counter to have it cut the woman behind the counter was less than polite, she quickly snapped at my mom for asking if it was a remnant piece and said there's no way because it was less than a yard. When she asked how much was left the woman didn't even check nor offer to check she just assumed "more than a remnant piece" when my mom decided on how much she wanted the lady clearly peeved rolled it out in a huff and quickly finished shoved the fabric to my mom and called the next number. Sorry chick, nobody asked you to work here so chill out. Older woman at the cashier was even worse. When she asked if we found everything ok my mom informed her of the rude lady at the counter and firstly ignored her and continued checking us out, when my mom repeated herself she just huffed "we don't assume that's what you want" I didn't ask you to work here, so maybe you should hire more polite people, it's a craft store how can you be in a bad mood at a craft store read more
