If I could give zero stars I would!!!! Not even the first time I've had issues with this particular location, but I ordered 4 skeins of big twist black yarn. My husband went to pick it up Curbside and only received 2. Not his fault, he didn't even know what he was picking up. So I called the location to see what happened. Their staff, specifically Cindy (I think was her name) are the rudest people I have ever spoken to. She says "that must've been all we had." I said, "no, online says you have over 40 in stock" she proceeds to tell me that just because the app says they are in stock doesn't mean they are out on the floor. 1. If I order something, give me the whole damn order, I don't care if you have to go in the back to pull more, because if you took the last 2 off the shelf, you need to restock anyways. 2. Her entire statement was a flat out lie! The 2 skeins I received came pre packaged in the shipping plastic it was probably given to them in by the distributor. You aren't going to tell me that came from the shelves. So where's the other half of my order? In the back, probably where she got the other pack. If I had to guess, I would say it is in a different box and they were just too lazy to open another. Will not be shopping there again. I use this location because its right around the corner, but when I have the time to drive by here and head to the other side of town I do it. The staff here is for the most part untrained and rude. I have asked for help in locating an item and gotten the arm wave complete with the over that way response. I picked up some frames yesterday that did not ring up what the bin was marked. What an ordeal! by the time it was all sorted out I realized that the complete frame department is not organized and under control. With the changes in Michigan law that do not require merchants to mark each item, businesses should be certain that shelves are labeled and kept orderly. It is obvious this Jo-Anns does not. After realizing I did not want this frame it took another ten minutes and another cashier to figure out how in take it off my bill. this store definitely needs to learn how to staff. This is the third time in a row I've stopped in to get fabric and either the cutting station or the check-out (or both!) were lined up 20-25 customers deep. I was in the store Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 to get two pieces of fabric. I pulled #119 on the ticket machine. They had 2 girls cutting, they were serving customer #97. After waiting 15 minutes and they were only up to customer #104, I headed out of the store. That's when I noticed the check-out. There were three girls working check-out, and there were 24 people in line! Like I said, this is the third time I've experienced this. This store needs a manager who knows how to staff. It's quicker to drive all the way across town to the other store, than wait to get service in this store. read more

Coupon policy is shady. It changes with each employee. They never have anybody to take returns when you walk in. So you have to either wait in line to return then wait in line again to buy. Today I went to buy some metal jewelry punches for group project and they had a door chime set up so when you picked up a product to look at it the chime would ring. After about the fifth chime I started to look for where the noise was coming from. I asked an employee what gives because by now she was right there eyeballing me funny and she said the theft was REALLY bad. WOW ever hear of a security sensor? If you have that much theft that you installed noise makers to all that want to look and touch the merchandise than it's not a safe place for me to shop. After all isn't that why we actually go to the store in the first place to see touch to know if that is the right product? No wonder people shop online! That's where I'll be except not at Jo-Ann's because if you read their reviews they stink too. read more
