Cute little boutique featuring rustic/farmhouse/shabby chic home decor…read more I stopped in last week and thought the name of the store looked familiar to me. It was and for good reason- it's the sister store of a home decor shop in Tawas City that I remember shopping last summer. That store was super cute and kinda eclectic and so was this one. The store just opened in April and is very much like the shop up north. They mirror each other pretty well, from layout and service to selection and price point. Customer service was nice and attentive and the stock was ample, showcasing plenty of "farmhouse chic" type of decor- candles, vases, furniture, clocks, artwork, signage, etc, much of it in a rustic, upcycled motif. The prices are kinda on the high end for even simple items, but the furniture was pretty reasonably priced. Some of the pieces are pretty garden variety and nothing that unique or that you can't get at Target for much less, but other items (larger pieces) are rather interesting and worth a real look. Overall, a nice store with great service and a mid-range price point for the most part.

The first time I went to this location was when I purchased a home in town a couple years ago. I was going to be doing some improvements, and they had all the answers to my ridiculous questions. Recently, I started another project and had more questions and frustrations. When I walked in, there were multiple people available asking if I needed any help (as always). Like always, they were able to offer solutions, recommend products, and even help me save a little money. Specifically, Dave at this location is phenomenal. He is extremely knowledgable, friendly, and always eager to help. I actually enjoy coming to this Ace because I know I will get the help that I need, a price I can afford, and a group of people that treat me like a neighbor.

I am a long time customer where I love this nursery and every spring buy my Hanging baskets and…read morefresh flowers here and numerous tree's and shrubs over the years. Their plants and tree's are always healthy, in great shape and well taken care of. when you consider how much effort goes into traveling to a nursery to buy your plants and bring them home and plant them, followed up with with ongoing watering and care, there is nothing more annoying than seeing the plant get sickly and die shortly thereafter due to poor quality stock from the business and/or inadequate care of the plants at the business. I have seen this movie too many times from plants I have purchased from the big box stores like Lowes and Home Depot which is the primary reason I buy my plants at Bordines. Relative to nursery itself, Bordines has a very large selection of healthy plants/tree/shrubs where their staff in quite knowledgeable in all garden matters in general. The flower prices from what I can tell are in line with the big Box stores for the most part where they have nice sales throughout the season and especially on Memorial Day weekend which is when I buy most of my flowers in particular their hanging baskets which are a great price during this holiday weekend. trees and shrubs are a tad higher in general but the selection is quite large versus the big box stores and are definitely quite healthy and ready for transplant unlike the big box stores. Overall a great placer to shop for all your garden needs where you can rest assured yours plants will be healthy with a great start on them acclimating to there new home and surviving and thriving throughout the season.

Pretty average Ross store- some nice housewares and perfume, but definitely could be improved…read more. it's new, but it's one of the smaller Ross stores I've seen and it carries very few clothing items, particularly better labels. They had only a couple of handbags last time I was there.. I can't say I was impressed with that.. a few 'designer' adjacent bags? Nope.. they were low end Michael Kors and something else unremarkable.. They really need more clothing and accessories.. as for service- there wasn't any.. and lines were long.. we left because the line was snaking around the store and we got tired of waiting- only one sales associate!! Nope!! I'd probably try them once more to see if the store is better....
