Eh, just ok.... It's…read morea typical Hallmark gift shop. My husband and I wavered in recently to look at some signature Hallmark Christmas ornaments (I was looking for a couple of special family ornaments as mementoes for my mother and sister, who collect Hallmark holiday ornaments) while we were in town for a few hours and found a few cute items, but nothing out of the ordinary. With a store like this, customer service is key- there are a myriad of other Hallmark gift shops and similar stores around the flint area, so in an effort to set yourself apart, you need to be top notch in not only inventory, but service, etc. Well, the store was typical of every other Hallmark, but there was no discernible customer service.. as in, we were not greeted, acknowledged or anything the entire time we were walking around. In fact, the lady behind the counter and a woman who was purchasing something (they clearly knew each other and seemed super engaged in a private conversation at the register) spotted us and both went back to their conversation and the employee openly ignored us. Are customers you dint know like a neighbor a bother? I guess you don't know each other's kids, you aren't worth their energy. Another woman walked in, went over to the register area to inquire about a gift and the employee ignored her, too. What type of customer service is that? This is not even first time we've been in here, by the way. We were in here once before awhile ago and we were not acknowledged, either. So, is the third time supposed to be the charm???? No thanks...I can buy the same stuff online or at the one in Flint. The store there is bigger and the service usually is excellent. Sorry, we won't bother again with this particular store.

And they bend over backwards to serve: coffee and cookies are available for Ornament Preview days, and often if you simply ask! Shopping for a particular item? Ask, and if they don't have it, they often know who does. Discounted ornaments from years past are on display in the lower level. And Sasquatch, the Yeti, products are sure to make you laugh! Cards for every occasion, and some that are unique, abound! Gift wrapping and those Gold Hallmark stickers are available. They know everyone in town, and welcome all who are new. It's impossible to be a stranger at Cary Ann's Hallmark in Flushing, Michigan!

Don't even bother…read more I've been to this store three times in total. Each experience was an epic fail. The first time, there was a guy who allegedly worked there, but seemed too interested in eating to pay attention to customers. I left without getting any info on the bracelet that I was interested in. The second time, the dude working seemed to have no clue what he was doing and told me to look it up in a brochure. Uh, sure. Whatever. The third time, I came in looking for a specific Solvar bracelet they had for about $60-$70. They were supposed to be open. It was middle of the day, during their regular business hours and they had a chalkboard sidewalk sign outside the front door that said they were open and please come on in. Guess what? They were closed. No lights on, locked door, no one around, no note on the door indicating an emergency or that they would return in ten minutes, no info about come back later, no closed sign. Heck, we walked around the store next door for awhile, the home decor shop across the street, too, and window shopped for about 20 minutes. No one ever returned. No activity whatsoever. I called the business number, too. No answer and no message indicating they had to close. I called two days later and they were open. Sorry, they aren't getting my business. I am buying the bracelet online and not from their stupid website. They are not the one and only place to get a Solvar bracelet. Cute stock, horrid customer service. Just say no. I did warn you. No wonder their overall review rating is so low. I can see why. I'm often all about family-owned or small business, though this really is just insane.

I ordered the jacket and....nothing. The order just showed as "pending". I emailed twice and called once (my call was sent to voice mail), but received no response. I eventually received a return call ONLY after I contacted PayPal. The owner told me that the only size in stock was a XS. They agreed that they would cancel the order. Well, that never happened. I elevated the issue to PayPal and was given a full refund. They are still showing this jacket as on sale and all sizes available. Really bad experience. Never again.

Outstanding, excellent, customer service. If I could, I would give them a 6 star rating. This…read morebusiness is housed in the Lager Mill and is the place to buy quality Southern Germany/Alpine Region of Europe style clothing. When I traveled to the Province of Bavaria, I thought I could find Lederhosen for less money. I was wrong, the prices are competitive with shops in Bavaria. When I went to buy my 5-piece Tracht (traditional German clothing) the size Bundhosen I thought was the correct size was out of stock. Instead of just ordering 1 size larger they ordered a few sizes larger too. Turns out the size that actually fit me was two sizes larger. Had they just ordered the size I thought would fit, I would have looked like an overstuffed sausage. Before buying my Tracht I checked online for Trachts and it turns out online isn't any cheaper for the same quality as I bought. At Bavarian Specialties a person can try on shoes, Bundhosen & Lederhosen, shirts, and hats. They also sell women clothing. The second day I put on my Bundhosen, the stitching failed which holds on the suspender button which was a manufacturing flaw. On my way to get them repaired I stopped in to let them know what happened. The owner was shocked and apologetic that the stitching failed. He told he would have it repaired at no cost to me. An Lager Mill employee told me he owned a pair Lederson for many years and button have never come off. Bavarian Specialties sells authentic made in Germany Lebkuchen, candies, and many other things to numerous to mention.

This is a brand new store. Curiously located right next to a TJ Maxx (they're practically the same…read morestore) in a busy strip mall. Now, it was certainly my own mistake for visiting on the Sunday two weeks before Christmas, but this place was an unorganized madhouse! There were probably way more people in the store than a fire marshal would allow. Products all over the floor, strewn about. And again, this is a brand new store... why design the store with seven checkout lanes if you're only going to have four open on one of the busiest shopping days? Gripes aside, it's a decent store with a slightly different selection than your average TJ Maxx and Marshall's. As we got away from the clothing/shoes/accessories, we found the home goods section to be in much better order. We picked up a few nice picture frames for less than $10 each, so I'd call that a win. They also had a great selection of auto accessories, surprisingly. The wait in line was about a half hour... very ridiculous. Anyway, they need more cashiers on duty to handle demand and also dedicated staff to keep stock off the floor.

However, the selection in this store doesn't represent the true Ross experience. There is not as many high quality brands that Ross usually sells at a deep discount. They do carry a lot of cheap, trendy clothing. There is not a wide variety of sizes for women. The designer handbag selection has never been great. They do occasionally have a great shoe selection. It is really hit or miss. The store is usually clean & organized. The prices are usually good if you can find a treasure. However, the next door neighbor, TJ Maxx, usually has a better selection. The Ross stores I have been to in the north are very different than the ones in the south. This isn't it. The buyers for this store are cheating you out of a great Ross experience.
