Unfortunately, our experience with Joybird's product durability and customer service has been disappointing. Recently, the ball bearings on the drawer runners rusted and fell off, making the drawers unusable. When we reached out to customer service--willing to pay for replacement parts--we were told that Joybird doesn't offer support or replacement parts for furniture older than six months. No repair options, no parts for purchase--just nothing. For a $2,000 dresser, that's unacceptable. Furniture at this price point should be built to last, and if issues arise, there should be a way to fix them. Unfortunately, Joybird seems more focused on selling new pieces than supporting their existing customers. If you're considering buying from them, be aware that if anything goes wrong after six months, you're on your own.

Joybird caught our eye for awhile from mostly Instagram ads, but we confirmed with the couple people we know with one that they are good couches that they would 100% get again. I am never ever one to buy something as expensive as this without an in person sit test so we planned to go check it out at this showroom and I am so so happy we did. We were confirmed that they are beautiful couches, and we also discovered that the couch we originally liked was wayyyyyy to firm for our taste. After a few more sit tests we found one we loved. And after lots of deliberation we found a fabric we also loved. The Anton Sectional (basically just a big chaise) looked great in the store and even better (if I do say so myself) in our living room. And so much love to Aiza, the saleswoman who had been extremely attentive to us during our search. She gave us info when we needed it and space when we wanted to keep looking/chat amongst ourselves. There was another woman there who was extremely kind and helpful as well, even after she knew we were already working with Aiza, she was just there to chat, offer opinions on colors, etc. They helped us see the color swatches we liked in different lights, took a look at pictures of our rug and offered suggestions on what would look best and made a big decision a lot less intimidating. We left with a couch purchased and ready to be shipped! And even after warning us that they very rarely will be shipped earlier than expected, our came about 2 weeks before we were initially told, a holiday miracle maybe?? Delivery was easy. Scheduling it was no problem at all and now we have a big, beautiful, comfy new couch that our dog is fairly obsessed with.

John and his very kind helper, Michael, showed up on the day and time they said they would. Since when does the store owner personally hand deliver their own goods? There was constant communication between John and I and he arrived in a gorgeous delivery truck... yes, it really is gorgeous. The sofa was triple bubble wrapped and taped. I was gobsmacked. My worries about the sofa being dropped on concrete or the leather being scraped on a wall, vanished. John and Michael wheeled the sofa up to my apartment, centered it along my living room wall, removed the bubble wrap and, voilà, my boring white living room turned into Versailles. I enjoyed John and Michael so much. Afterwards, we had a nice visit complete with the requisite selfies. Never was buying a piece of furniture this easy and painless. The fact that they won't listen to me, or admit this is a faulty piece of furniture, and help me replace it is mind-boggling. For over $700 and Less than a YEAR in my home, NOT EXPOSED CONSTANTLY to WET SHOES makes ZERO sense why this is happening.
