I had an extremely frustrating experience trying to get a clear and timely response from "Ben." I…read moream not sure whether he is the owner, manager, or simply the person responsible for customer service, because that was never made clear. However, if Ben is the owner, he is one of the worst business owners I have personally dealt with when it comes to communication and customer service. I originally emailed to request a change of address for my order. Instead of confirming whether the address had actually been updated, Ben responded only with, "sounds great." That is not an appropriate response to an important shipping request. I needed a direct answer explaining whether the address had been changed, whether additional information was required, or whether it was already too late to make the change. I did not receive a proper response to my original email until the following day, and by that time the order had already shipped. What made the situation even more disappointing was that I did not receive any meaningful response or action until after I posted a public review about my experience. Only after the review was posted did Ben respond and cancel my next order. While I appreciate that the future order was eventually canceled, it should not have taken a public review to receive basic customer service. It is difficult to understand how a business that reportedly started in 1998 could operate with this level of communication. Based on my experience, I find it hard to believe that an owner could treat customers this way and expect the business to last. Customers should not have to post negative reviews just to receive a response. A simple message such as, "Your address has been updated," or, "Unfortunately, the order has already shipped," would have avoided much of the confusion. Instead, I received a vague response after it was already too late, and my next order was canceled only after I publicly shared what happened. Whether Ben is the owner or the manager, this was some of the worst customer service I have dealt with, and I would not feel comfortable ordering from this business again.

It's not difficult to find what you're looking for because everything is clearly labeled and organized by type: cleansers, serums, exfoliants, toners, sunscreens, moisturizers, sheet masks, etc. They have descriptions of what each product does and what skin types and concerns it's best for. Perfect, I don't even have to google anything on my phone hahaha. They have a mix of viral, trendy items you've seen all over social media, along with classic staples. They also sell hair care, body care, and makeup. Testers are available for everything! I HAVE to give a special shout out to Sophia. She was so incredibly helpful, knowledgable, and sweet. She has a background in esthetics and has a really great eye for color matching and style. She gave me the best recommendations for my skin concerns and even matched me with a new lip color and foundation. I was shook by how she took one look at me and was like, "Okay, this is your color and this is your match." She tested the makeup on me and... she was right!!! I really liked how everything looked! She was so fun to talk to--I wanted to be besties with her LOL. I ended up buying a few things she recommended and even got a complimentary sheet mask. They have a rewards program, so put your phone number in and rack up those goodies! The only thing I don't love is their return policy. They don't accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for in-store purchases. Online purchases have a 15 day window for returns, so just keep that in mind before you buy. Mind you how those scents will smell on you will of course differ from person to person since that's how really good perfume works, it works with your own body smells creating something unique and it takes some testing and shopping around to see which perfumes will work for you personally. Personally I love smelling like roses, even if it is a bit old-fashioned. I like sticking to things you can't go wrong with so while on a spontaneous weekend trip to NYC, I decided to go check out the only free-standing Annick Goutal store in North America. Mind you, this isn't the only spot that sells AG perfumes; at most finer department stores there is usually an AG counter but I find the experience of visiting the home-store is usually more personalized. Located literally next door to Magnolia Bakery (of cupcake fame) in NYC West Village fashionably fabulous Bleecker Street, it's a small store with the entire line of AG products on the offering. The salesgirl, Rosa was really friendly and even gave me a free "Rose Absolue" candle with my purchase. Now, the only thing missing from my AG collection is the "Violette" perfume and I'm good to go. It's not cheap BUT if you really want to give yourself something special, you can't go wrong with an Annick Goutal perfume.

Recently, I booked an appointment for a girls' evening with several friends who were traveling in from out of town. Unfortunately, their flight was canceled due to circumstances completely beyond our control. When I called, I was not asking to cancel the appointment, only to reschedule it. To my surprise, I was told that rescheduling was not an option. As a loyal customer, I expected a greater level of understanding and empathy for an unforeseen situation like this. I was committed to keeping my business with them and simply needed flexibility due to a travel disruption. Their unwillingness to work with me left me feeling undervalued as a customer. In my professional experience working with many businesses, I have seen the best customer service demonstrated when unexpected circumstances arise. Unfortunately, this experience showed a lack of customer care and consideration that I did not expect from a company I had supported and promoted for years. I will certainly miss their products, but this experience has left such a negative impression that I do not see myself returning. It's disappointing when a single interaction overshadows years of otherwise positive experiences. I hope they read this and do better with their customers. Given the current environment with flight disruptions, delays other other transporation challenges this will happen to another customer and they will continue to disappoint and tarnish their brand.

(Spring colognes, summer/beach collection). I came in liking the Scent of Peace for Him, and walked out having three other colognes I liked. (Wall st, Greenwich Village, Bleecker St.)... You then proceed to smell from array of scents to pick your favorites and see which scents you like together. After making your selections you mix the chosen scents and pour into your own perfume bottle. We were offered artisanal tea and delicacies as our seating was arranged. Once at the bar, our Perfumer, Jordan, offered us a brief survey. While I answered honestly, I felt badly for Jordan because my taste in perfume is eclectic. I hate most scents, especially floral, and while I love fresh scents in my home - I certainly don't want to smell that way. I digress. Jordan was extremely patient and kind, making unique suggestions. Once our perfumes were complete, we were offered more tea, cookies, and time to unwind while we planned our next move. I really appreciated the luxury of having a moment to slow down, the kindness, and the overall experience. The only thing my best friend (a scientist) noted for improvement was a more detail about the notes and wear. I really loved my experience. It is my hope to coordinate a workshop for a larger group of women that I'm thankful for in the near future.
