The shop kept the vehicle for two full weeks. They diagnosed the front right banging noise as being caused by the rear drums and emergency brake cable. They replaced the cable and addressed the drum issue, charging a total of $864. While the price was expensive, I accepted it because I believed I was paying for quality work. After driving the truck home, I parked it for a few days. The following Sunday, while taking my kids to the park, the exact same noise returned--only louder. I immediately called the shop to report the issue. Jason acknowledged that he had dropped the ball due to their high volume of work and instructed me to bring the truck in the following Wednesday, promising he would return it the same day. He was apologetic during this call. On Wednesday, the day of the appointment, I called to inform him that I had attempted to drive the truck to the shop the night before, but the banging had become so loud and sounded so dangerous that I would need to have it towed instead. I asked if the shop had a tow truck. Jason said they did not and recommended using AAA. I called AAA, signed up for a membership, but learned it would not take effect until the following day. I then called Jason back to ask if we could reschedule for the next day to avoid paying approximately $300 out of pocket for a local tow. At this point, Jason's entire demeanor changed. He began shifting blame onto me as if I had done something wrong and repeatedly emphasized that they "didn't hear" the noise while the truck was in their possession--even though I had specifically pointed out the front right location on the initial visit. I had explicitly told them on day one that it could potentially be a ball joint and asked them to fully diagnose the issue and take their time to ensure it was done correctly. Instead, after two weeks, they sent me home with the same problem unresolved, along with an $864 bill for work that did not address the main issue I brought the truck in for. They then proceeded to blame me for the situation. The call ended with Jason stating, "we just aren't right for each other." I have attached a copy of my receipt as proof that the initial reason I brought the truck in was the right front noise. You can clearly see it labeled on the receipt as "Noise in RF, e brake?" This shows that the shop can claim they fixed the issue all they want, but they did not fix the actual problem. They simply assumed it was something else instead of fully diagnosing it. I assume this "I'm sorry, we're just so busy" excuse is one they use often. This shop appears to be unreliable. I have read reviews from other customers whose vehicles were turned around in just one hour, yet this shop could not resolve a front-end banging noise after keeping my truck for two weeks. When I gave them another opportunity to make it right, Jason responded, "to be honest John, even if you drop it off I won't have the time for a week or two." I strongly recommend staying away from this shop due to their poor service and terrible customer service.

Since then I have started bringing my car to them every time it needs so much as an oil change. They are near my work, so I can drop it off in the morning and pick it up at the end of the day. They are always more than fair on the pricing, and even put in parts that I had purchased previously for my brakes, when I thought my husband was going to fix them. Great advise about the little things I can do to prevent future problems as well. I trust these guys explicitly. With the high cost of auto repair it is nice to know there is a company out there that is not just looking to make buck or get you to come back for more repairs. They actually try to save me money.

After dropping my car off, I received an electronic invoice with a cost estimate and detail of services. You have to electronically accept or decline the services on the invoice before they start working on the car. This is super helpful and transparent. While inspecting my car during the oil change, they discovered my car needed additional work. They sent an updated invoice with the estimated cost and details of the recommended additional work, as well as pictures. Same thing, you have to accept or decline before they proceed.
