My husband and I went to look at a used truck. We were also going to lease or purchase a second vehicle as well because my lease was running out soon. We never purchased here before, but the dealership had a truck that we absolutely loved. The salesman was not helpful at all. We asked multiple different times while waiting on an estimate evaluation on a trade we were going to use towards the initial truck purchase, for lease pricing on a few different vehicles. We were never given any numbers, and were greeted with a shake back and forth of the salesman hand. Meaning he either he had no clue or didn't even care to look into it. Very unprofessional and honestly lazy in my opinion. We ultimately did not purchase a truck due to numbers not working out in regards to our trade value and montly payments. I feel like the effort to try and make a deal work was not exhausted. They were satisfied with us walking away which is unfortunate, because they lost out on not only 1 sale, but 2 being we will not purchase when my lease is up. read more

Terrible worst service department ever do not deal with or have them work on your car

I was very happy with the service I received here, and even more pleased with the vehicle I purchased! I bought a used '08 Chevy Equinox which looked practically brand new! I was a little nervous about traveling over an hour and a half to look at the car, but it was VERY worth it. I was very happy with how easy it was to communicate with Kit, the women in charge of the online inventory. She was very fast to get back to me with any questions. Ed helped me when I came to look at the car, he met me in the parking lot and was very helpful with any questions I had. I put down my deposit and picked up the car about 4 days later. Ed was off and another man helped me to get everything going (I believe his name was Jerry) he went over all the buttons and how everything worked in the car and helped me to set up the On Star. Everyone was great! It's been about a week since I picked up my new car, and I just received a thank you from Ed, apologizing for not being there when I picked up the car and letting me know I can contact him with any questions. Which was impressive, because it was a hand written letter - not something generic they sent to everyone. I would highly recommend this dealership! read more

Although I did not purchase my new car here, the staff went above and beyond for me. My schedule is very tight, so I showed up unannounced or almost at 8pm when they were closing. Yep, I was that person.. lol... but they were so kind and generous and informative on everything I needed. Our sales rep, Lauren, was phenomenal. She was so cute, down to Earth, and really wanted the best for us. It saddened me to go with another car, but it was such a close call! And if I could have chosen a car based on service, they would have won 1000X over!!! Lauren spent over two hours with us and answered my questions even while we were both home. On Friday October 23rd I went to Jo-Dan Buick to purchase four tires, an oil change and lube. The service person showed me three brands of tires all with rebates. I chose Good Year with a $200 rebate. I asked the salesperson three times if he was sure of this rebate since the instruction said I needed a special credit card in order to get to $200. He assured me on each occasion I would get the $200 rebate. I submitted the paperwork online and can see that if I do qualify it will be for only $100. When I picked up the car the price seemed high and I inquired. He assured me I was charged only for an oil change and the tires. When I got home I looked over the bill more closely and found a $64 charge. I called for explanation and was told it was a mounting and balancing charge. I looked into old receipts from Kost Tires and none had a mounting or balancing charge on new tires so it was a surprise. I don't believe it is excessive but that I should have been made aware of it. I personally find these practices deceptive and dishonest. Be careful. I will no longer take my Buick or Chevy to Jo-Dan's for anything. read more

I was searching the internet to purchase a new vehicle with certain specifications that I wanted to have on a new car and I came across a place that I had never heard of before called Jo-Dan Buick/GMC. They had over 30 Buick Encores in stock at an almost unbelievable good price with some of the features that I wanted. I was debating on whether or not to make the 45 minute drive as we all know that the price you see on the internet is often too fantastic to be true. These guys actually delivered at the promised price with no hidden fees or markups as is often the case when you walk into a dealership. The interest rate was excellent for my purchase and the paperwork was quick and painless. They were very professional and very courteous and didn't attack you the second you walked onto the lot. In fact, I had to hunt a salesman down as they were quite busy. My only critique of this business is that they need to work on their internet marketing so that more people know they exist. The salesman John told me that they have been in business for al little less than a year so here I am writing their first review! Give these guys a try as I am so glad that I decided to make the drive to check them out. My wife loves my new Winterberry red Encore so much that I don't know if I'll get to keep it!
