The manager came out to measure and discuss how the work would be done and go over possible additional charges based on my existing flooring. He provided a quote in a very timely manner and we scheduled the date! They assigned a two man team who showed up promptly on time each morning. The installers were amazing. They took such care in my home and were so respectful and efficient! They assisted with some installation questions I had and got right to work. They were so careful moving my furniture around and I was so touched that they made sure my bed area was cleared at the end of their upstairs workdays so I didn't have to sleep on the couch. They used plastic sheeting to mask off closet and bathroom contents to keep the dust down as much as possible due to the floor leveling process. They set up shop in my garage and at the end of each of the 5 days tidied the work spaces and swept up the garage very thoroughly. F and L..... thank you so much. I know I said it a lot but I really love the excellent job you did! I am so happy with the outcome. I love my floors and give OC Hardwood the highest praise possible!!! My neighbors and friends love the floors and I'm glad I grabbed a couple of business cards because they've been given away to interested parties! My two favorite comments.... What kind of wood is this? LVP!! This looks like House and Gardens TV! My previous cat had passed away November 2025 and I knew I wanted to have the flooring redone before adopting another. (With the quote coming in $1k cheaper than the competitors). We were did not have a color in mind when we re-did our floors so his team was able to provide a number of options/materials that would fit into the quote that he provided. Once the material/color was chosen, the work was scheduled for the week after. On the day of the installation, Raymond showed up on time and finished the job in just one day. We did feel 12 bags of self leveling concrete was excessive when it looked like it was only used on a few corners of the room in a job less than 900 sq feet. Unfortunately one of the stair nosing broke within a couple weeks of install. Rafi was responsive in redoing the stairs stating it was a manufacturing defect and that the new version is stronger. Unfortunately the second team quality of work was very poor. They left holes in our walls that were patched poorly with plaster. Worst of all the stairs were apparently nailed to the subfloor and after a few weeks they started to rise leaving little holes and nails protruding from the floor. A few of the stair noses are loose as well. At this point, Rafi became unresponsive to have the flooring fixed. We ended up getting some of our money back through our credit card after months went by but the majority of the payment was by check. Basically we will need to replace the stairs again on our own dime. Buyer beware! Lifetime warranty doesn't mean anything if the installer ghosts you.

They did NOT clean the subfloor. They did NOT replace the damaged tack strips as per contract. They didn't install the closet bottom railings properly. I had to fix them. Ridiculous! And to think Costco recommended this business is insane. Such a "bad taste in my mouth!" And they're NOT cheap. Hopefully this will help others avoid what we went through with these people.
