He said I needed a new capacitor so I told him to go ahead and install. Right after he left, it stopped working and I called him. He came by the next morning and told me my unit was overheating and I needed a new unit. I called my cousin who has a friend in the business and he had his friend come by and take a look at it. He said the capacitor was the wrong size and he changed it. He then checked my air filter which was filthy and told me that was the source of the overheating. He took out the filter and I picked up a new one that evening and everything has been working great since. I have attached the invoice. This is my second request for a refund. I did the first one thru the website and never got a response. I am asking nicely even though I feel I was trying to be taken advantage of. Otherwise, I will be forced to go to Angie's List which is where I found you guys and on Yelp. I would appreciate your quick attention to this matter. Their response was that it was a he said, she said situation and decided not to refund my money even though they didn't fix anything.

Henry's also fielded many numerous questions over many calls. They installed our Ecobee thermostats. They followed up for a year on maintenance calls. When we had a problem with one of the thermostats they immediately came out and solved it. They have continued to maintain the units since that time. Whenever a technician(s) comes out they immediately go to work and do not, except for the installation which was all day, and continue until finished.

My poor tenant was very frustrated. So I called UV Sam and they came 3 weeks ago and after 30 mins said that we needed to replace the capacitor for $285 dollars. I agreed because it's the middle of August and my tenant needed a working AC system. Fast forward to Labor Day Monday and the same issue starts up all over again no cool air since 10:30 the night before, so obviously it wasn't just the capacitor. I don't think they really ran a system diagnostics check last time. I am a full time realtor who has witnessed more than one HVAC inspection in my career and I should have known something was up when they first arrived. I called to schedule an appointment and their answering service picked up. The lady who answered was pleasant enough, but said that no one would be available until Thursday. REALLY?! I explained that they had already been out and the system was still not working and I couldn't understand why they were answering the phone on Labor Day if no-one was even "on call" for emergency situations. She said she could squeeze me in Tuesday, but it would later in the day. I grudgingly accepted a late day time slot, but I ended up calling back and saying that really is unreasonable knowing someone does not having a functioning AC that they were supposed to have already fixed and to please see if they can squeeze us in earlier. She agreed to 8-10am time slot on Tuesday. My tenant re-arranged her schedule to be available. No one arrives until after 10:30 in the morning. When my tenant called the office the first excuse was that another AC was leaking water and took precedent. Then the next WHOPPER came from the guy who is also the owner. He said the real reason he was late is he didn't want to sit in rush hour traffic. WHAT??? That is totally unacceptable to schedule an appointment and not show up and your reason because you don't want to sit in traffic. The townhouse is in Conroe not Houston so traffic is going the other direction. That is no excuse for appalling customer service. Major fail and super lazy! Don't offer this as part of your service area if you don't want to drive this far! They still could not figure out what the issue was saying they would have to trouble shoot. Not on my dime you won't! They said maybe it was the thermostat, but they weren't sure??? RUH ROH He started being mouthy to my female tenant when she was questioning his assessment. Luckily she had called a guy friend to come over and sit upstairs and when he heard how the guy was talking to my tenant he stepped in and miraculously the attitude disappeared. Hmmmm guess he didn't realize someone else was there. My tenant calls me absolutely beside herself ranting about how poorly this entire situation was being handled. I received blow by blow texts all morning long. Hence the review I am able to provide. I said don't let him touch anything and call Bradbury Brothers for a second opinion. Thank goodness we did because they came out ran a thorough diagnostics check on the HVAC system found the issue and immediately addressed it. Imagine that? Plus they called me to go over everything and emailed me the receipt. Now that's customer service. UV SAMs customer service skills need a serious overhaul. The owner even refused to give my tenant and her friend his business card claiming he doesn't do that anymore. What? Sounds to me like he needs to go back to AC training and or get out of the business. I think there is a lot of guessing going on and no real analysis. Don't hand your hard earned cash over to this unprofessional company. They don't know what they are doing. You will end up paying someone else to address and fix the problem. You have been warned.

I was recommended Redmon Heating & Air Services by a neighbor of mine who happens to be a general contractor. He told me they were honest and provided high-quality work. The level of communication and the expectation that is set is great. You're kept up to date and if there's any changes or delays with your appointment, you're notified with an updated ETA. I had Randy come out last year to inspect an issue that I had with my AC unit. He inspected it and recommended a repair along with unclogging my primary drain line. What I appreciate about Randy is that if it can be repaired, he will repair it. He will not force you to buy a new unit or system like many other companies. My AC unit and furnace was on the older side, but he repaired it successfully and saved me money when I needed it. Fast-forward to over a year later, my furnace was having issues and not staying lit. I gave Randy a call and he was able to come out the same day to look at it. Randy inspected it, tested it with a new part he brought with him, and it still was not staying lit. He told me it was likely the circuit board that was failing given the age of the furnace and other factors. Factoring in the cost for a new circuit board and the age of my furnace, he told me it would be best to replace it. He was able to give me different options and explained each of them in detail. He answered all of my questions and did not make me feel rushed or pressured into anything. After offering me a deal I couldn't refuse, we finally came to an agreement on replacing the furnace and AC unit together so that it would be matching. Randy went above and beyond and got the units hot shotted over so that it could be replaced the next day as there was cold weather in the forecast and he didn't want me freezing. Fernando, Randy's right-hand man, showed-up right on time with his team and got to work with replacing everything. Fernando, Martin, and the rest of the gentlemen kept me informed with the whole process. They also offered to have me come up in the attic to see the replacements and if they were to my satisfaction. These guys worked hard and were able to get my brand new furnace and AC unit up and running within just a few hours. They provided me with all of my paperwork for the units and answered any questions that I had. Fernando also went above and beyond by going to the hardware store and purchasing a new return air filter grille and new filters for the new system. I didn't even mention this to him but he wanted to surprise us. He told me that he noticed my grille was older and that he could get filters that would fit my air return vent since it's an odd size. It's the small things like this that provide a great experience and set apart the best from the rest. I could tell by talking to Fernando that he takes his work seriously and enjoys what he does. Randy called me when the work was finished to ensure I was satisfied and asked me if I had any questions for him. This was a 5-star experience all around. After communicating with the staff and sending photos of the faulty part, it was determined that they had the part in stock and would come out to fix it. The technician had to brave snowy and frozen roads to get to us. I was impressed. Even the post office didn't venture out today! They sent me texts stating when the technician would arrive. And he arrived as promised. Tim Alt was such a soft spoken and nice gentleman. He got right to work as he had the photos and knew which part needed to be replaced.
