I love their product, the expert person, Patty who came to show we their products and her accurate measurements, to the quick turnaround time for getting me the blinds I needed and the friendly installer who had them up in no time at all. JMR is a very good company, full of integrity. Highly recommended! After getting our usual 3 quotes for a Home Improvement project, I found JMR and are we ever glad we did! They have good prices and great products with a guarantee that they stand behind. Over the past year we have used them 3 times to replace the blinds throughout our home. (my fav are the shutters, but I really like the top down bottom up cellular shades, too) We have referred them to a friend who also loved their service, price, and product. Thank you Juan, Kevin, and Fernando for your patience with us being slow in completing the whole house. You all gave wonderful customer service! read more

I have a new build home which needs window coverings throughout. I called in hoping to get a quote/measure as soon as possible. Person I spoke with was able to fit in an appointment with me the nextduring my time off work, which was very helpful. Sally came out for measure and quote. She was very knowledgeable, gave her input as needed and thoroughly answered all my questions. I will update post once the shades are installed. So far so good! Install complete and looks amazing!! This company is top notch and professional all the way around. Juan, the owner came out on install day, addressed a couple minor concerns I had, Patty is a pleasure to talk to each time I call in and Christian is quick and efficient on the install. I have already recommended them to family and friends. read more

Patty helped me out when I was getting quotes to have pull shades installed in my house on 13 windows. She was very patient as I researched a couple other company's before making my decision and followed up with me regularly throughout the process. Patty even made an extra trip back to show my husband the swatches since he was not available the first time she came. The quality of the shades is great and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The shades came in a timely manner and they coordinated install with me and had it done within a couple hours. I would highly recommend JMR blinds. read more

I recently had some blinds installed in one of my properties. I got 4 estimates from different companies on Yelp. I went with JMR Blinds because I believed I was getting a lot more for a little bit more money than the other company that I was going to choose. First let me say that everyone I dealt with was very polite and professional. The only thing that was lacking was communication and maybe a little bit of customer service. I purchased the basic 2 in white blind ... their least expensive one., which I was told by the sales rep that the blinds would be smooth, the valance would have returns and that they would have smart privacy...whatever that was supposed to be. Im not a blinds guy but I thought ok cool. I wanted to compare apples to apples with the other company (IC BLINDS). So, they couldn't match their estimate but they did come down a little from the original estimate. When the installer came to install, I noticed that the blinds were not smooth but Faux wood, the valances did not have returns, and that they weren't smart privacy blinds like I was told they were by the sales rep. Ok, a lot of miscommunication going on here between the sales rep and me. I told the installer that there were so many things going on here that weren't right. He asked me if I wanted to talk to Patty, the sales rep, and I said just to go ahead and put them up and I will contact her later. But unknown to me, I was talking to the owner, Juan, who was installing my blinds. I BELIEVE he could have made it RIGHT at that time. I told him I had the text message verifying what I was supposed to get before I purchased the blinds. But nothing was said by him. So I talk to The sales rep and she told me that she would see what she could do and I told her that I felt I was getting a lot less for more than I would have got if I would have went with IC BLINDS. Well it took a lot of beating around the bush to tell me that they couldn't refund me $80 to meet the estimate IC BLINDS price gave me. Sales rep told me it was their best price, but I getting a better blind with a five year warranty. OK, I have lived in a few houses in my 54 years, and not one time have I ever had a blind go bad on me. And I told the sales rep that $80 wasn't a big deal it was just the principle of the thing called customer service especially because there were so many levels of miscommunication and that I was getting a lot less for more. Was it partially my fault...yes... because I should have looked at my receipt and stopped the order immediately because it did say FW which I guess is an abbreviation for faux wood and the receipt did not say smart privacy, Do I regret not going with IC BLINDS...yes I DO. I could have got a lot more for less... different colors to choose from on the blinds and valances with returns on their basic blinds but no smart privacy. read more

Great product, great service, excellent people to work with!! From the beginning we felt confident working with JMR blinds. The installation was also flawless. He was very professional, neat, personable and knowledgeable. We couldn't be happier with the outcome! We highly recommend JMR Blinds!! read more

Love our new shutters. We had a few companies come out to give us an estimate and JMR Blinds had the best quality at the right price. You may find some that may be slightly less expensive but not as good as the quality you get from JMR. The entire team was professional and they stayed in contact with status updates; they were very responsive. Everyone was a pleasure to work with, Juan, Patty, including the two guys who came out to do the installation. They were professional, respectful and left no mess behind. read more

JMR did a fantastic job installing our shutters. Their quote was a little more than others, but it was worth it to get better quality shutters. The services was great. The price was competitive. We had to wait a while for our shutters due to the shipment situation. Decided on JMR blinds for plantation shutters after consultations from two other companies. And I'm glad I did! Best price, professional and customer service was great. Shutters look amazing! Thank you JMR blinds. read more

I don't normally provide reviews; however, when a company does an outstanding job, I certainly take the time to put a well-deserved review for them, especially JMR Blinds. First off, I want to thank and recognize the whole JMR Blinds team for their outstanding customer service, professionalism, and execution of a job well done. As a good practice, I usually try to garner several bids for any home project as I did for the 14 plantation shutters we were planning to have installed. Before that, came research of the best available in the market, and from my research it came to 3 manufacturers - Graber, Hunter Douglas and Norman. After several price quotes and in home visits with the various vendors who represent/install plantation shutters noted above, we came to the conclusion that JMR Blinds was in our opinion, the more trusted, better value, having outstanding warranty, and a local business that we wanted to support. Patty who is noted in other reviews, provided the upmost in customer service, as well as a very price competitive quote versus the others, answered all our questions, and made fantastic recommendations such as to paint the window sills prior to the installation of the shutters to ensure they match perfectly. She was very relatable, professional and followed up timely, keeping us abreast of all aspects expected for a project of this magnitude. As another review noted, she was definitely the difference in why we went with JMR Blinds, although the price was fantastic as well. Granting at the time of asking for quotes, there was delivery/supply chain wait of potentially several months as compared to Graber and Hunter Douglas, JMR Blinds with the Norman brand of shutters was worth the wait and in fact arrived a month early. Juan who is not only the owner, took the time for him and his team to install the shutters. They did a magnificent job and we are more than elated with the quality of the installation and the quality of the shutters! In summary - I would absolutely, highly recommend JMR Blinds if you are in the market for plantation shutters that will be installed professionally and manufactured with quality at a price that is very competitive versus the other names noted earlier - plus you will experience the outstanding follow through/execution of a project manager that Patty ensures for a stress-free home improvement project. read more

Ordered shutters for my home. I have 23 windows. Patty came out & showed me my options & helped me select & understand what I was getting. I got several other estimates but Patty was the only person who kept in touch just to see how I was doing & if there was anything she could help with in making my decision. I chose JMR Blinds because of Patty & the price. My shutters came sooner than I expected but was so happy cause we were starting a heat wave. The shutters were installed on 6/23/2022. Of course it too a few hours but it went smoothly. Can't thank them enough for the beautiful shutters & the excellent installation. My house is cooler & I'm using less air conditioning. I don't leave many reviews but this company deserves it. They were straight to the point with the estimate and didn't try to sell me anything different or extra, while still being super helpful. JMR blinds and employees are worth their weight in gold. First off let me say the owner Juan came out and gave us a estimate for new shutters in our home. We were impressed by the options he have us for size, color, and also material. JMR had the best prices from all of our estimates we gathered so we decided to use them. Today was the installation day and JMR sent JJ and Jose out. The installation went smoothly and Quickly. The guys were super respectful to our home and cleaned up after they were done. I would give they're team 1000 stars if I could. We were so impressed our mother in law also hired them to do her big bay window which she had other quotes for considerably more than JMR gave her. Thanks guys for the awesome job and great looking shutters. read more
