Just finished install of shutters to my home and could not be happier. The process was easy and I the shutters are so beautiful. Patty was very helpful and the installers showed up exactly when they said they would. Install was smooth the team took my old blinds away and even vacuumed up after themselves!

The team from JMR Blinds was amazing. I sent a note at 6am and received a response from someone. We were having some issues with drones flying by and hovering in our back and front yard since didn't have any window coverings. The process was smooth, easy and hassle free. Patti came by within a few hours, met with my wife and showed us some samples and colors. We wanted regular blinds which they had to do a special order for. Who knew that blinds don't come with strings anymore. My wife is short and didn't want the blinds that you push up and down automatically as she was afraid she'd always need a stool to pull them down. In less than 10 days our completed blinds for almost our entire house was installed. The installation took less than 90 minutes and there was no mess at all. The JMR team was amazing. The cost was way less than we expected and we got a fabulous value for what we spent. The house looks completely different and we've gotten compliments all Christmas. Great job by the JMR team.

I contacted JMR because I thought I wanted double roller blinds. Patty came out and talked me through all my options. Turns out that shutters were the more economical way to go (and I was shocked by that as I thought for sure they would be more expensive.) Patty had great suggestions that really turned out to be just perfect. I was quoted a time frame and the shutters were finished a bit earlier than that (which I appreciated.) Installation went smoothly and I love the finished look. My favorite part is that I can leave the bottom half closed for privacy and the top half open for light. Highly recommend this business!

JMR blinds did an amazing job. Patty was very knowledgeable and helped us come up with the right shutters and shades for our daughters rooms. The shutters look beautiful and we love the shades with a pull up or down magnet on it and the remote control shades. Very high-quality! Also, we had a broken shutter downstairs and they replaced it for us as a courtesy. Besides that, Juan came over after installation and helped touch up a few areas where our old blinds were removed as well as made some adjustments to the remote control shades that make the up/down movement that much smoother. My friend highly recommended me to hire JMR Blinds to install blinds and rollers for my new remodeled house. I was very impressed by their professionalism and quality. Their representative Patty was very helpful and friendly, she came to measure all the window sizes and showed me different samples with transparent pricing. However, I had a minor issue with some of the wands being too short for some blinds, but Patty quickly resolved it by ordering longer wands for me at no extra cost. After deciding to get plantation shutters for our new home, we reached out to JMR and 2 other companies for consults. Patty was by far the most comprehensive and helpful. She helped guide us on the different design options (many with Norman vs. competitors) and was great to bounce our thoughts off of. Their quoted lead time of 5 weeks was right on the dot, install was quick to schedule and complete, and pricing was competitive. We went with split invisible tilt and it really add so much to the look of our space!

We were referred by a friend who loved JMR and now we do too!!! Excellent service, Product Quality is top notch, Professional Service, Competitively Priced and Beautiful results. We have wanted interior shutters on our windows for years. Finally we had the chance so started getting quotes. One of them was a company who were referred by my husbands colleague. That one is who we chose, JMR Interiors. And we could not be more pleased. They explained everything thoroughly and we went with their recommended brand of "Norman" shutters. Two words- LOVE THEM! The ratings and reviews are true. Front start to finish it was a smooth process. Called and scheduled an appointment. Patty was prompt, had plenty of samples and was knowledgeable. She was extremely patient as I asked questions and chose colors and styles. Patty let me know when my shutters were completed (ahead of schedule) and quickly set an appointment to install. The installer was prompt, fast, kind and cleaned all areas. For some reason it's been so difficult to find decent (and forget about finding great vendors in the world right now) ... but JMR was PERFECTION. Will be doing business in the future. So happy with our shutters! I emailed so many people to get quotes and JMR not only was the first to respond but his price overall beat the others. Communication was great and fast. He came out the next day to take exact measurements and shutters were up 5 weeks later. Any questions we had throughout the process he got back to us quickly. Got our blinds installed this week. I must say WOW, what a difference. I can't stop staring at them because they make the house look so different! I would definitely recommend using this company. If you are looking to install blinds or apply other services they offer to your windows, JMR Blinds are the best! I recieved many quotes for my plantation shutters for 11 windows, JMR stood out the most with their caring service for me. They had many options to offer (more than others spoke of) for sizes, colors, and type. JMR even offered temporary blinds while the ones I ordered were being delivered. Also, the warranty is very good - my blinds recieved some damage that they were happy to fix no questions asked. My sales representative and follow up contact to this day is Patty, she was responsive and ammenable to my requests as well as being very knowledgeable of the products. JMRs price range is very great for the value as well. I will be using them in the future. read more

Hello, I will start this off by commending the fact that Juan and Patty responded to me rapidly after I inquired and showed interest in shutters in which they'd done at a neighbors home, and of which we loved. I reached out and Juan sent Patty within a couple business days to show me product and to take measurements of my 7 windows and 2 glass sliders. Patty was very patient with me making selections and she was knowledgeable in all products, and she had every sample to show with her and we were able to make decisions same day, pay the deposit and my order was set in motion. Patty was conscious of the fact that 1 window in the kitchen was in a construction zone and she sent staff back to take measurements once complete so that she was certain on what she was ordering. All aspects of the purchase went well, and the installations were quick and precise, and the job was perfect. This review is long overdue. I have been wanting shutters for a long time. The consultation with Sally was very professional and never felt pressured. Going with JMR was a no brainer as price and quality made them an easy pick. The shutters were ready in 6 weeks and install went smooth. There was a little snafu with the sliding glass door measurements, however; the issue was rectified immediately. Overall, you will not find a better deal anywhere else. I received quotes from all the big box stores and JMR came in significantly lower. Very very happy! Can't wait to do upstairs. read more

Purchased shutters from Budget Blinds and received nightmare service from Frank who refused to repair shutters that broke and came loose from the window. He blamed my Siamese Cat. I spoke with their corporate office, but they refused to back the warranty. I called JMR Blinds and spoke with Patty. She set up an appointment, contacted Norman Shutters and a replacement louver for the shutter was sent free of charge. She informed me my shutters have a lifetime warranty through the manufacture. Patty went the extra mile. I did pay the installer a nominal fee for the repair. Patty and Jose, the installer did a phenomenal job. This is an extremely honest and reputable company. Couldn't be happier with our new shutters! The entire process from start to finish was seamless and an absolute breeze. Called up to schedule a consult/quote appointment and Kevin was able to come out the following Saturday exactly like I was hoping for. Received 3 quotes that morning and decided to go with JMR not only because they had the best price but also because Kevin was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. I was quoted an 8 week lead time due to the order being placed right around the Chinese New Year time frame which halts production due to factories shutting down for the holidays. Our windows were brand new and we didn't have a window coverings, Kevin was nice enough to offer temporary window coverings at no additional charge, we accepted his offer and he came by the next morning to install for us, now that's customer service! Week 7 rolled around and I was getting ready to call JMR to follow up on the order when I received a call that the shutters had arrived and they were ready for install. Installer came out that following Saturday and completed the entire process in about 2 hours. Once again, couldn't be happier thank you guys! read more

The price was very good for a total of 9 blinds and the selection was good as well. The blinds we did want exactly weren't available as they were not sold anymore so they shouldn't have brought that out unfortunately...but the blinds look great, installer was very professional and installed them perfectly! read more

It has been a few months now since I've had my blinds installed and I just love them. The price is good, the customer service is great but most importantly, the blinds are excellent. We had some miscommunication about the valance (I wanted inside mount but the order was outside mount) but Christian took care of the problem, at no charge. The only thing I needed was patience while waiting for the replacements. All in all, thank you JMR. I highly recommend this small business. read more

Patty and Juan are great. Recently moved into a new home and needed some window treatment and JMR Blinds came up during my search. Patty instantly reached out and walked me through the process and help mentind the shutters I wanted with the hidden tilt built into the frame. Since we were a couple of months out, from the home being completed patty worked with us every step of the way to get the measurement and order down. Instead of trying to sell me something that wasn't right for my home, they were completely upfront that their current products probably wouldn't meet the style I was looking for. That kind of honesty is rare. No pressure, no sales pitch, no wasting my time. Just fast, professional communication and straight answers. Sometimes you learn more about a company by how they handle the sale they can't make than the one they can. Excellent customer service and integrity. First, the installation team left without addressing the cracks/damage to my windowsill. They obviously saw the damage but did not mention it or let me know that someone would be scheduled to come back and fix it. I had to call the company myself and send pictures before they sent someone out. When they came back, all they did was sand down the damaged area and fill it in. I am also very disappointed with the fit of the shutters. I was told afterward that the shutters are not custom-sized and that the gap around them is "industry standard" because of the sizing of new-build windows. The gap is large enough that you can actually see the screws, which makes the shutters look like they were not properly sized for the window. What makes this even more disappointing is that their website advertises "custom shutters" and describes their shutters as having a "perfect fit." Someone came to my home to measure my windows before I purchased them, so I was under the impression that the shutters would be custom measured and ordered specifically for my windows. I was also told that I would have to wait weeks for the shutters because they needed to be ordered in the correct size. The final result does not look or feel like a custom, perfect-fit installation. When someone finally came out to address the damaged windowsill, I was also told that if I wanted to cover the large gap, I should purchase a weather stripping product from Amazon and install it myself. I was very surprised that after spending $1,500 on two windows, I was being directed to purchase something myself to make the shutters look properly finished. Had I known beforehand that there would be a noticeable gap, visible screws, and that I would essentially need to add my own weather stripping to make the installation look finished, I would have purchased from a different company. I spent approximately $1,500 on shutters for just two windows, so I expected a much better fit and finish. I understand that some clearance may be necessary for installation, but the large gap and visible screws are not what I expected from a company advertising custom shutters and a perfect fit. Overall, while the customer service was pleasant, I am extremely disappointed with the final product and the way the installation issues were handled. I wish the expectations regarding sizing, gaps, and installation had been made clear before I made the purchase.

We needed about 25 blinds done for our newly built home and had no idea where to start. Trey was the first person we encountered. I mean the guy just knows his stuff. He consulted us on what would look great based on our interior taste, measured everything out, and gave us two separate quotes for blinds vs shutters. Also, fun fact: the guy came out ON HIS BIRTHDAY to do this. Trey provided his expert opinion on what would look fitting for the home, and I trusted him with my life. I mean ask the guy for his professional portfolio as a fashion consultant pre-blinds. After a few weeks time (blinds needed time to get custom-fitted), Gerardo came out to do the installation. This guy is probably the nicest guy I've ever met. He did everything that was listed in a timely manner (about 3 hrs for 25 blinds + 5 curtain rod installations), and even made the time to walk us through everything that was done and let us know about a little minor hiccup that they guaranteed to go back and fix (and I mean minor guys.. like something no one would ever notice unless you call it out). After all was said and done, Frank followed up through text and lets us know what Gerardo had relayed. He proceeds to schedule out a date and time to drive out to fix the minor issue. Sure enough, Frank did exactly what he said he would do with no added cost. Literally a small bead replacement because the color was off. From beginning to end, the entire experience was so pleasant, which just makes you feel good about every dollar you're investing in new blinds. Reached out to JMR Blinds about having some roller shades installed at my home. Patty came out and was very helpful in choosing the style and colors. After the install I mentioned that one of the shades seemed off-centered and two of the other's only had one return. I was told because they were in a corner, there often isn't room to have both. I advised there was plenty of room and it looked unfinished. JMR agreed to come out at 9 am on a Saturday to take a look. I received a call at about 10:15 that they were on their way. Since they were late, I let them know that I needed up to leave as I had plans. Ended up texting Juan and he said that they would order two additional returns for me. 3.5 months later and haven't heard a single peep from anyone at the company. Juan the owner is a POS. He was very unprofessional to my mom. We had used his company's service in the past where apparently one of his employees Kevin came out. The job took weeks to complete. Some of the work is not holding up. Kevin said that he would come out again if more work was needed. When we called him again, Kevin was too busy. So he sent his boss who had a personality conflict with my mom. Juan just told us that he wanted more work for him to do anything; if not we should go to HD. I wish I met him. I would have thrown him out by the ear. This company will never get work from our company again. Kevin--you need to find a new boss. Juan--you need to learn how to handle elderly customers and warranty your poor workmanship. Yes, those mechanisms were special ordered and installed by Kevin. read more

I liked the fact that I had options on how my shutters opened (right or left) and/or split, and whether I wanted them inner window or window framed. Kevin did the in home consultation presenting Norman Shutters to my wife and I. Juan the owner had prepared us by sending me a video link of the Chinese manufactured shutter. Internal gears with adjustable tension and a baked finish sold us before Kevin's presentation. Instead of that plasticky materials he was able to offer high quality fabric for less than the competitors. Service 5* Kevin was responsive and thorough. He quoted me about 3-4 weeks to order the materials and get it installed. Through that time he kept us apprised and showed up promptly with his team for the installation. The install was quick and took about 2 hours to install the shades, setup the automations and show us how to use it.
