Called around to several HVAC companies and most were closing at 5pm or wanted to schedule me the following morning due to an incoming snow storm (2024 Winter really sucked this year). To my surprise, a friend of mine recommended Northside Mechanical, a local private company, who were there within an hour and resolving my issue shortly afterward. He came back on Tuesday with a permanent fix and we started talking about updating my HVAC system and hot water heater. Not only was the price reasonable for an emergency call, but I received a GREAT QUOTE for a more efficient HVAC system that includes Air Conditioning (my prior system was heat only), and an updated, more-efficient hot water heater (the old one was rusting and on its way out). A couple weeks later, Andrew was here with his partner working on my HVAC system and had it all done in a few hours. They came back a few days later to do the hot water heater, and they'll be back in a month to work on the Air Conditioning unit after the snow melts. They guys were kind and professional, very knowledgeable, and it's the first time I felt like I was getting real honest answers without unnecessary up-sells for things I don't need!
