I have used their service before with good results. They are responsive, reasonably priced and reply quickly. I received a quote for crack sealing on 9/10. They finally showed to do the work on 11/5. It all looked pretty good. However, they neglected to use their backpack blowers to remove the water out of a few puddles in front of my garage. I know that these areas needed crack sealing too. When I called to let them know what was missed, I'm now being told they are shutting down operations for the season (11/7). They can't come back until the spring when they start up again. I could have easily used my own blower the day before to remove the water and dry the area, if they had mentioned that they couldn't handle a few puddles. Now these vulnerable areas will be even more damaged by the freezing and thawing during the winter. This is what I was trying to avoid to begin with. Not very happy. read more

Four days later, I'm very impressed with their work. They got into all the corners/edges, including the ones I didn't expect them to (e.g. underneath the deck's staircase). We had given them the check ahead of time and left the house, and they still did a good job; no cutting corners just because they got paid in advance. I appreciate that. Their price was very competitive, they arrived on schedule and completed the work in just a few hours. The results look terrific, the coating is uniform, and they filled the cracks very evenly and completely. We are incredibly pleased with the entire experience with JLP! Visiting a friend i immediately noticed how amazing his driveway looked and asked about it. He told me who did it and the cost and tbh for how proffessionally done it looked id not have been suprised if he'd said triple the number he said. I called JLP and left a message. The next day they called back acknowledged my inquiry and said their sales person would call back asap. Sales person was here within a week, and due to being later in the year and weather being pretty unpredictable, he said "ill have a quote to you by day end, if you'd like to move forward reply as such and we'll get you on the short list in case something opens up" Within a week I received a call that there was an opening the following week. We had our very large driveway sealcoated with the cracks filled in last season ( 8 months ago) by JLP Sealcoat. What a mess!!!! The seams that are supposed to fill the cracks are all still gummy this year and it peels right up especially the heat. We had called them last year to explain but they never came back to look at it. In the meantime the black sealcoat is just washing off. Last week we got them to come look at it last week and immediately they wanted to blamed it on the winter snow plowing......until I pulled out the pics I took last summer. Not sure what we're going to do at this point. But it looks worse every day that goes by. I'll post some pics. The darker photos I took last year right after it was done. The faded and peeled up photos I took 10 min ago. Don't waste your money! Very expensive and extremely poor quality. read more

JLP was at our neighbors seal coating their driveway. I asked my husband to run out and ask if we could get a quote. In 30 minutes we had a quote and written agreement and the team began seal coating our drive. They took the time to address every tiny crack, cleaned and edged the entire space, swept the debris away and pain stakingly filled every tiny crack all before seal coating the entire drive. They even address an area that we thought was beyond a repair. The price was beyond fair. The team was courteous and professional and took their tome on an impromptu job. For years they have serviced our neighborhood. We can say their work stands the test of time and the elements. Highly recommend! read more

A few months ago, My husband and I were calling around asking for estimates for Sealcoat on our driveway and JLP was one of the businesses we called for an estimate. Their prices were too high in comparison to the company we went for and I thought it odd that they would send me an invoice statement vice a quote. They also did not have the capability for executing the other pavement work we needed. Anyway, we decided to go with another company who did the work and a great job at that too. JLP has since then been calling and harassing us saying THEY did the work and we owe them money and that we have a contract with them when we clearly have the statement and receipts from the other company and never signed a contract or agreed to a date for them to come and do the work. They called us on a Sunday afternoon, not even during working hours to try and settle this and were very unprofessional and rude. I definitely wouldn't recommend them based on their treatment at all. read more

Cleared grass from pavement Filled and sealed cracks Cleaned pavement Sealed driveway They were very neat with spraying they left no overspray on anything, nice neat job. Came when promised and were gone before I came home. Can't ask for anything more. Highly recommend them for your paved driveway maintenance. read more

I had JLP seal my driveway a couple of years ago and when they applied their product they simply sprayed it on. It never lasted. Would never use again or refer them to anyone. read more

The job they did was adequate. The problem is, they knocked over a brand new basketball hoop and broke the rim. I called them, and they said they would take care of it. They never showed up, and have not returned any of my calls. Very frustrating. read more

I used JLP to sealcoat my driveway 2 years ago and they did an excellent job. This year, I hired them again and have to say I am somewhat disappointed in the quality of the job this time around. Once the sealer dried a bit, it is obvious that it was applied very unevenly resulting in a less than great appearance. Also, the crack sealant was applied unevenly and they did not coat all the cracks with the black sand like they did last time. Again, looks shoddy and unappealing. Probably will try someone else next time around. On a positive note, the crew was hard-working and pleasant! read more

I had a competing bid from a firm that had lined an athletic court for me but they could not guarantee their staff would scrape the overgrown grass back from the edge of a very long driveway. My neighbor recently got his driveway done from JLP Sealcoat and he had me ask my husband to come fix it because he was not happy with the results (My husband is nice enough to fix it for free).
