If I could leave no stars, I absolutely would. My issue isn't with the windows themselves, or the…read moreinstallation, but rather with the disgust I have with the operations department of this Pella NH/ME branch and how they handled an issue 18 months in the making. In fall of 2020 I did a favor for a relative and agreed to replace the windows in their home. Pella was my recommendation for that job. I ordered the windows and paid a deposit. In Oct 2020, I received a call out of the Haverhill office to provide a credit card for the final payment and schedule delivery. This has been a normal procedure for my own small jobs and a lot of builders I worked for. Payment in full required before delivery. The windows were delivered and I installed them not long after and had a very happy relative. Since that time, I have not had any correspondence from Pella and had no inclination there was any issue. On April 14 2022 I received in the mail documents from NH Circuit Court in Rochester that a Small Claims had been filed against me by Pella for $1700 plus an additional $90 in court fees. Apparently, that balance was allegedly not collected on a window order that totaled approx $8000. 18 months after delivery of the windows and absolutely no communication from Pella in that time, I was rather surprised by the court filing. I reached out to the Pella contact listed on the court paperwork to see what the issue was. There was a series of emails exchanged, which proved rather useless and further proved that Pella billing dept was clearly at fault. Their policy to collect payment in full prior to window delivery was not followed. The person I had to deal with is just someone who chases ambulances and lives to sue people rather than reach out to find a solution. The questions I repeatedly asked about the issue went unanswered. It was fairly obvious someone knew they were in the wrong seat and doing what they could to minimize the damage. The only answer I ever got was that 'efforts to reach me were unsucessful' yet they could not provide any record that any effort was ever made? "If you have proof of payment, please send it to me so I can close the Small Claims filing"--so its lawsuit first/questions later and guilty until proven innocent?? If reaching me to collect the apparent $1700 balance was so unsuccessful and impossible, how did they manage to reach me to collect the first $6000+ on the same order?? To summarize, the Haverhill office apparently had the right contact info to collect some of the money, but not all of the money. (My phone and email have not changed in 20+ years. This includes several window orders with them, which puts all my contact info on file.) No one can provide me an explanation why Pella went against its own strict policy and delivered the windows before final payment was confirmed. Despite their claim to be unsuccessful in contacting me, no one can provide any record of reaching out to me for this missing final balance at all over a period of a year and a half. In spite of their lack of correspondence, they chose to file in Small Claims Court as an apparent solution. Customer service at its best. I reached out to Pella CEO in Iowa, and while I did receive a reply, this is where I learned this branch is independantly owned and operated. There was nothing they could do to help. I reached out to this branch owner by mail and have no reply or explanation as to why or how this happened. Enough time has now passed I suspect I will not receive a reply either. If you are ordering from Pella in NH/ME, don't think you have the national Pella brand behind you, you don't. The operations are all handeled at the local level. Why someone felt the need to go to court with me rather than talk about the issue is beyond me. The lesson is, unless you want to deal with getting sued a year and a half after your windows are delivered for an issue that 100% wont be your doing, I would strongly suggest NOT doing business with this Pella location and avoid the major headache I had to endure.

I've had my issues with Pella support in the past... but my most recent experience was wonderful…read more This is largely due to Jaime, the showroom manager in NH that provided exceptional customer support. Thank you Jaime!!!
