I am new…read moreto the Florida area and my husband and I recently bought a home, so I called about 10-12 different companies to vet them about everything from painting (interior and exterior of our new home), to electrical work, to something more simple such as power washing. The reason why I picked Ronald was because out of the companies that I called he was one of one that actually answered and responded to my calls and texts (DIRECTLY) within five minutes. Every other company was sending me to a third-party where I would have to explain over and over again to the workers what I wanted/needed. (Most of which unfortunately didn't speak English). Usually, I pick someone with reviews on yelp, however, the companies I called with over 10 reviews almost always sent my call to a third-party and or did not reply right away. I am so extremely happy that I went with my judgment on McCafferty home services. In addition, when Ron did not provide a service, he would either refer me to someone that did, or tell me the honest truth and to do some of my own vetting (example: movers/landscaping). MEANING, he did not send people my way unless he could vouch for them, and this meant a lot to me. At the end of the day, I am so incredibly happy with the craftsmanship, the timeline, and the kind demeanor of him and his team. Also, he sent pictures and videos every step of the way, which was so thoughtful and great for us, some thing he did not have to do. We can't wait to have him install our LED mirrors, paint the outside of our house, and see him once in a while to power wash our front and back yard. We called Michael and he was able to schedule an inspection for the condo that we wanted buy and sign sales contract as a buyer. Michael and his son Mario showed up to do the inspection, for what ever reason three agents were there telling me that he inspected the same condo several months earlier and I was wasting my money. They were rude to Michael saying that they fixed the items he found last time. As it turns out they lost a buyer because of the issues that Michael had found. Micheal explained that he worked for the buyer and to please let him do his job. I told him we still wanted him to inspect and to verify what we were being told. Micheal was able to pull the last inspection to verify that the items that failed the previous inspection. He reassured me that he and Mario would reinspect everything and let me know where each item stood. Mario went into every craw space, cabinet and closet to ensure I would have no issues. Thankfully, in walking around the house with Michael, he was able to educate me on the issues he found and verify the new items had been fixed. He checked the new AC, appliances and the electrical to ensure that they were installed correctly. From Michaels advice I was able to sit down with the homeowner, we were able to get them to correct the items Micheal had found saving us money before we signed a contract. I'm so glad I was able to have Michael and Mario from Affordable Inspections help me make a smarter decision and save us some money!

My husband and I hired Brian, Igor and Tim to do several medium-sized jobs around our house. They…read moretold us it would take one to two days and we were surprised considering the number and complexity of the jobs. Sure enough they came in the morning and worked tirelessly all day and completed all four jobs, including smoothing a cement wall, changing an area of drywall, changing baseboards, painting, changed the fascia and reinstalling an outlet related to patching a hole in an exterior wall. We are completely blown away with the attention to detail and the quality of work. PLUS they cleaned up the whole mess and left the leftover supplies. We are so happy. We immediately asked them if they were available to do more smaller jobs around the house and they were nice enough to do a couple of them that same day for a very fair price. Plus they were just nice and easy to communicate with. I would hire them again in a heartbeat without reservation. They are worth every penny.
