Unprofessional and Unresponsive: My Experience with WP Home Improvements…read more I hired William from WP Home Improvements, and it turned out to be a very frustrating experience. He failed to complete the work as we had agreed, and it was clear from his workmanship that he was not familiar with the proper installation process for this type of equipment. He really shouldn't have bid on a job he wasn't qualified to do. When I tried to contact him to address these issues, he went completely silent. He ignored all of my texts and voicemails. This is especially frustrating because he was so quick to respond when he was bidding on the job. Once he had my money, his communication stopped entirely. I would strongly recommend you find a different contractor for your project. Based on my experience with WP Home Improvements, William is unreliable and unwilling to take responsibility for his mistakes.

Finally showed up at 6pm, no big deal things happen. Seemed like a nice guy so the wife and I talked it over after he left and decided that we would go with his company. I texted him the next day which was a Saturday asking him to call me when he had a chance, he called 15 minutes later and I told him the news. He said that he was working that day and would stop by between 3pm and 4pm. We waited around for him and he finally called me at 6:30pm to tell me he would not be able to make it. I understand that things happen but he could have le us know with a text or something so we did not sit around waiting for nothing. He apologized and said that he had nothing to do Sunday that he can come over to get deposit and sign contract. We agreed that he would call me about 12pm. Still haven't heard from him.

We have a clay tile roof on our historic home, and unfortunately, the previous owners did not…read morerepair it properly, despite their claims. Just three months after moving in, we discovered mold and ongoing roof leaks. I reached out to Mortenson, and Andrew has been absolutely fantastic--responsive, helpful, and professional. The roofer who previously "fixed" the roof claimed it was impossible to identify the source of the leaks and recommended a complete roof replacement. Andrew immediately dismissed that idea, explaining that in most cases, the source of a leak *can* be found and repaired without resorting to an expensive full replacement. He quickly sent out his foreman, Julio, to evaluate the issue. Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with--we're so glad we called him!

I have an old roof from 1947 on the house that most companies won't touch. I found Mortenson after some extensive research and frustration with other companies' suggestions for leaks I was experiencing when I first purchased my home. After replacement of sections of roof and some of my copper gutters that failed, I no longer have problems and they've saved me from having to have the whole roof replaced, which would be exorbitantly expensive. They've done a great job and always very professional. Not always the quickest to get out due to them being so busy, but when I have an emergency, they are there within days of calling. I have them come and inspect my roof every year and have had them come out for emergency tile replacement. Everyone I have dealt with -- from their estimator Ken to the various people who have worked on my roof (Joe, Matt and Julio) to people in the office (Diana and Andrew) -- has been great. I am VERY picky on who I let touch my house and they are the only ones I'll trust to work on my roof and gutters.
