It's your classic small-town bar with a great mix of locals and tourists, cold beer, live music, and horse race betting if that's your thing. The bartenders work hard, especially when it's gets busy. Be kind and respectful, and you'll get the same in return. We met several locals who have been coming here for over 40 years, which says a lot about the atmosphere. Later in the night our designated driver who had only been drinking water was kicked out too for "drinking too much"... Throughout the night we saw one particular bouncer being directed towards certain people to be removed... It was clear a couple of "guests" had their preference on who could be there and who couldn't. After reading other reviews, it looks like this is a common occurrence. In a group of multiple bartenders, we understand the responsibility of an establishment to protect their business, but this was clearly intentional targeting. Also - the bartenders were lovely and the bouncer at the front was also wonderful, it was just a few bad apples and some "mean girl" regulars, but unfortunately we still don't want to support any business that is okay with this. Talking to people in town it seems like this place has an even deeper reputation we were not aware of. We won't be back - but if you go, be safe and aware of your surroundings (especially ladies) !!
