I decided to try this local spot in Norton recently and I found it to be very friendly and cozy inside. The decor is vintage cowboy with charming mismatched placemats, china, and silverware. It's a little bigger inside than it looks from the outside, with tables in the front and back plus seating at the bar. The breakfast foods were freshly cooked and delicious and a very good value. Service was friendly and attentive, and some of the other patrons were friendly too. Definitely recommend.

This is a great local hole in the wall. I stopped out here while traveling and decided to give it a shot despite few reviews or photos. The folks here are super welcoming the moment you walk in the door, local or out of towner. I think about every table and chair set on this place is all different, which is nice. It's not like a cookie cutter cafe. This visit I tried the French toast listed as Texas toast on the menu. The bread is not what I would fully consider "Texas toast" but it definitely had more girth than standard bread. The bread itself was a cinnamon swirl bread that was a little dense which worked well with it being French toast and all. Overall really good flavor, nice and rich but over powering. The bread was fluffy but firm. With the French toast we also received maple butter. It was ok but I couldn't super tell if it did anything with the syrup I put on. Not bad though, just different. The bacon is thicker with a hickory flavor. The cook on the bacon was "just enough" to be done, so not super crispy. Good flavor, not greasy at all, I just prefer a thinner strip. The hash browns were a bit greasy, I wasn't a super big fan. They definitely needed some helper. Alone there wasn't a ton of flavor, not even a potato flavor...just a bit bland for my liking. The hubs had the same so no extra commentary for him on this visit. I'd likely go back for a second visit and do recommend.

We went there this morning 7/11 and the place was locked up with no sign. I don't know if it's still in business.

Cardinal coffee and cakes has been on my list for a while now as I love trying out new cafes and…read morebakeshops. This place is ADORABLE. It has so much charm to it. The people are incredibly friendly, not only the workers but everyone who was there which shows the audience this cafe attracts. It was awesome to see the wide arrangement of drink options from hot to cold to energy infused drinks with Red Bull. They also had a TON of house baked goods. Scones, muffins, cinnamon rolls, strudels and more. They even have lots of various breads to choose from and cakes! They have inside and outside seating which is charming and simple. The food is great and the drinks are high quality and refreshing. The cinnamon rolls warmed up in the microwave were probably some of the best I've ever eaten. The cream cheese frosting is to die for as well as the strawberry rhubarb filling (I need a jar of it). Muffins are SO MOIST and great texture/flavors. I also really liked that by the cash register they had some pre wrapped baked goods that were slightly discounted meaning they were probably leftovers from the previous day or what not so I like that they do not waste! Overall, if you are in the area or a short drive away please stop in and you won't regret it!

The interior vibes are the same; open, spacious, and clean. However, the food and most importantly, the staff, no longer maintain the quality that made me a regular in the first place. Artisan used to have amazing coffee and excellent food, but the coffee is no longer very good. I think this is due to the staff. The food has significantly declined in quality. The hollandaise on their breakfast sandwich is now a broken, greasy mess. The "sourdough" is generic white bread. What's even worse than the food is the staff. In the last two years, the staff has degenerated to an incompetent , bedraggled mess. The staff has never had to wear a uniform, but perhaps it's time for them to institute one. In my last several visits, I've seen grossly oversized clothes that have the staff looking like they just rolled out of bed. Hair is unkempt, not brushed, loose, and hanging down past their shoulders. A recipe for getting hair in my food. Furthermore, the staff is no longer smiling or friendly and can't answer basic questions about the menu. They seem confused about where they are and the service they provide. On top of all this, they maintain their strict breakfast timeframe. Why they have decided to stick to antiquated time limits for the food that is always available in their kitchen is beyond me. The barest minimum of market research would show how popular breakfast sandwiches are all day. What once was a vibrant, friendly coffee shop with great food, good coffee, and pleasant employees now feels like a dressed up McDonalds.

This was my first time stopping into Artisan Coffee as it is a bit of a dive for me, so I was happy…read moreto finally be in the area to give it a go! This place is a charmer for sure and has a vibe to it that is cozy. The space itself is larger than what I was expecting and it was nice that they offered additional parking across the street as their lot is small and gets full very quickly. The space also has a stage and lots of windows for natural light which I loved. The baristas were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the different drinks and what they offered, which was really nice. Unfortunately, I did not try any food, but their menu offers a wide range of breakfast and lunch options including sandwiches, soups, bakery and more. I reached for the cold brew and a friend got a lavander matcha lattee. The drinks were good, nothing out of this world but I was glad they offered additional cream, sugar, etc out in the open in case people decided they wanted to add anything to their drinks. They offer a wide range of drinks including some really interesting specialty drinks which all sound fun to try. Overall, Artisan Coffee is a cute, charming coffee shop that offers a wide variety of food and drink and I am sure you will find something you enjoy at this cafe. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely consider coming back here to sit down rather than to-go.
