First time here and found this place because it was closest to me when driving. Stopped in through the drive thru and was helped by lovely employees. I got an iced chai, was slightly disappointed with how much cold foam they put on top as it feels like 1/4 of my drink was missing because of that. The atmosphere is perfect. It is such a cute coffee shop! I've ordered there twice and was disappointed both times. The first drink I got was one of their most popular ones and it was way too sweet and I didn't notice the coffee in it at all and I couldn't finish my drink. The second time I went I just got a vanilla latte thinking maybe the sweet drinks aren't for me anymore and again, couldn't tell there was coffee in it. It felt like I was just drinking vanilla milk. I got a bagel sandwich and half of the bagel was so hard I couldn't eat it. The price was not worth the quality unfortunately. I really wanted to like Anna Bean Coffee Company. After following them on social media, admiring their menu and specials we made the 30 minute drive for our first visit. Having browsed the menu on their website we knew exactly what we wanted to order. To our surprise, they no longer serve any of the three items we had traveled there for. No mini donuts, no Monte Cristo, and no Avocado toast. Please update your menu! My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and I ordered a spinach and feta croissant pastry. I was unable to eat my breakfast pastry because while the outside was warm the inside was ice cold. Our coffees were just ok. All in all, I found the prices to be high and left disappointed. Excellent coffee! I ordered the red eye and it was delicious. I thought the price was good for the size. Lots of yummy muffins, cupcakes and other pastries too. I ate a pastry with blueberries and cream cheese; super good. It was heated up before I ate it. Very relaxed environment. If I would have had more time, I would have stayed a little while in their seating area. Very comfy looking couch. Very nice staff here too. The person who took my order was friendly and able to answer my questions. This is a new local business to the Barberton area. It's only been open about a month. If you aren't a coffee drinker, they also have teas too. read more

Adorable coffee shop! Since this place opened at the end of August, I have been wanting to stop in. They have it decorated super cute for Halloween right now and have many seasonal drinks. It is small inside but there are a few tables for seating and it wasn't crowded at all on a Thursday afternoon. Staff was friendly and helpful and there are a ton of options! Several sugar free syrups too which made me really happy :) I got an oat milk cappuccino with SF white chocolate and SF peanut butter and it was amazing. Food - Unfortunately we didn't get to try any of their food, but they have a great assortment to choose from like muffins and macarons! Their coffee on the other hand, we got to try several of their drinks: Espresso - Smooth. Bold. Not burnt and not gritty bits to ruin your shot. The flavor of the espresso was delicious, nothing to sour the tastebuds. Black Coffee - A coffee shop should be able to sell you a black coffee, no additives, no sugars, no flavors to be able to get you to come back...and that's what Anna Bean did. The coffee was heady with a thick flavor profile that warmed you up. Not burnt, not sour. Just a nice cup of coffee. Pumpkin Roll - The moment I took a sip, it was like it was that moment the food critic was transported to his childhood, yet instead I was transported to one of those home town, roadside antique shops. The ones who are best to visit in the fall for their Halloween and Fall primitive decorations. It tasted like the scents you'd smell in those places, just warm, pumpkin and sweetness of a fall day browsing with your loved ones. Service - The employees working behind the counter were beyond the best. Friendly. Informative. Genuinely nice. You know those places you go into and you can tell they're putting on a fake kindness? This isn't that place. Genuinely sweet employees who were quick to hold a conversation with you and make you feel welcomed. By far one of the best parts of this place! Ambiance - The theme of the shop was synonymous with the Train station it's located in with a nice touch of modern minimalism and antique accents. It felt vibrant, fresh and still respectful to where it's history came from and where they were going. By far the best coffee shop around Norton/Barberton area. Skip the mainstream coffee shops, come here instead! read more

Beautiful old train depot converted into a great coffee shop. My colleague and I worked in the outdoor space for an hour or so while enjoying coffee and muffins. The outdoor area is pretty large and offers both table and a row of softer bench seats, tables included umbrellas. The coffee was fresh and the muffins were tasty. We will have this in our regular rotation of coffee shops to work remote or unwind. read more

I love ABCC. Their staff is so friendly and nice, and the place is kept clean and welcoming. I love coming here, and I think the price tag is worth it. I love seeing the baristas, and I love how they make every interaction feel personal. I will say that I wish their menu was a bit more informative, as they tend to only explain flavors of drinks and not so much what all goes into them, nor how many pumps/ounces in their sizes/caffeine content is in the various drinks--However, whenever I am curious or inquisitive, the staff is informative and kind! their drive through situation is a bit of a mess, but that is not entirely their fault. Building design plays a factor, as I believe the building is historic. I wish they would fix their headset and speaker though, as it broke fairly close to their opening almost a year ago--however, staff is quick to help you at the window if you do decide to use the drive thru. I was sad to see the ice cream shop go, but I'm thankful that Anna Bean is what took its place. They've done a great job keeping the history alive, while offering fun and fresh options for the up and coming younger crowd of Barberton. Overall excellent business! for my own reasons, I would love to see the owners/upper management in more, as I don't think I've seen them a single time throughout my many, many visits.
