Upon reaching out he responded quickly and came to our house to take measurements and had a quote within 5 days. Bruce did a very thorough analysis of everything we asked him to look at and explained in a lot of detail all of the considerations he was weighing in coming to the conclusion that there were unlikely to be any structural problems with the house. His price, at $225, was very reasonable for the peace of mind it afforded us. Highly recommend. Getting ready to sell my home for sale and have a plethora of work prior to listing. One aspect of…read morethe renovations I needed was carpentry work done on an overhanging patio on the exterior of the home. There was a ton of rotting wood and I needed it completely fixed to not only look great before getting an exterior paint job, but also to PASS INSPECTION. I have gone through extensive research when picking contractors.. maybe 7-8 quotes for each job, including everything to flooring to counters to Paint. When it came to carpentry I was surprised on how hard it was to find consistent quotes. My job was for the most part very vague, Please fix select boards with wood rot on a giantic overhanging patio so that it will look good for paint and also pass inspection. Most people didn't know where to even start it was so bad. Others told me not to waist my time and just completely remove the structure as it will save me money. Others came in as a low bid and seemed optimistic, but when time came for work they had no license. No bueno. Moises on the other hand was what I was looking for. Someone competent who actually understood how to handle the job and articulated it to me properly. Moises actually stuck to his original timeline, and involved me in decision making as the project progressed. On the final day after project was completed, I was surprised to see that he actually replaced/repaired more of the work than I originally thought needed. It was refreshing to work with a contractor who DIDNT try to cut corners. He also cleaned up on both days after his work really well. Moises is defiantly a good contractor, supplies all proof of license/insurance and cares about quality. Will refer to friends/famliy.

One thing I liked about Pat right off the bat was his attitude. He's so easy going yet hard working, and while his prices are good and we're on par with some of the other guys, his attitude won the job. But it takes more than attitude. I needed someone that did good work. I couldn't find out much about Pat online, but took the advice from my realtor who had worked with him before. If you're you're like me and you're a little OCD, then you're picky about the small stuff. And Pat is so good about it . We had so many odd requests for Pat (honest to God, we drew up plans on a piece of printer paper. No measuring, no nothing) No matter what we threw at him, he would always say "Well make it work!" And he did. Arch ways, old doors, crazy tile color, difficult bath fixtures. After everything was said and done, Pat walled in a sunroom in to a closet, completely remodeled our master bath with new window, created an indoor laundry closet, a new hallway, and closet for another bed room. And we couldn't be happier! Seriously if you're looking for an honest person with a good attitude that will charge you a fair price and do great work, stop your search now and hire Pat. He did such a good job the first time around, we just rehired him to remodel our 2nd bathroom! If you have any questions, you can always message me. Would be glad to tell you more about his work.

Not only is the quality of work that he and his crew--led by the amazing Jose--quite astonishing, but he is a caring guy who has gone so far above and beyond our expectations, that five stars is really insufficient. Mid-way in the process, my wife noticed two issues. The first was that if you came up from downstairs you could see the raw plywood, unfinished underside of the island's overhang. But worse, our cabinet guy neglected to tell Pat and his guys that our fridge was supposed to be framed with the cabinet above it extended out to be flush with the front. When we pointed this out to Pat, not only did we get no push-back from him, but he had them re-order the fridge side panels at no cost to us, then re-used the existing panels redo the island's top so that the underside of the overhang had the same finish as the rest of the cabinets, and then surprised us by using the rest of the material to build a cross-beam for our island lights, one that looks so sharp and clean that you'd think it had been designed that way. Frankly, I don't know if I do anything as well as they do their work, and if we ever have any kind of construction work in the future, Pat darn well better be available as I can't imagine using anyone else.
