Food was ok. I ordered avocado toast, and it was red not even toasted with a smear of something resembling avocado and pieces of bacon broke up into little pieces laying on top. Disappointing. Didn't think you could mess that up. Also, we walked back to area to sit down to eat and there's an employee laying on the couch with a blanket, covering herself up. Doesn't even bother to get up off the couch. Made us feel very uncomfortable. Next thing you know, she proceeds to put her blanket away and go into the kitchen and then bring us our food. Very unprofessional. If you own this place, you really need to talk to your employees about how to carry themselves in your restaurant.!! read more

Very nice baristas/servers! The recommended their favorite items, have my daughters stickers and even brought out extra waters. The food was great and prices were good for what we got. Coffee prices weren't listed but we got food and a coffee and all together it was reasonable. The setting was cute, lots of seating and games in the back- would be fun for a friend meet up or a date. I am a huge coffee snob and their coffee is amazing. I went there with friends to hang out and drink some amazing coffee. I tried their cinnamon roll and it was equally fantastic. It was super soft and very yummy. They have a nice eclectic dining area and their staff were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back. read more

They usually have at least three cheese options and several bread options (including croissants, bagels, biscuits, and white or wheat bread). 1920s themed cafe next to Watt's restaurant - perfect stop on a weekend drive, to stop and grab a latte or mocha on your way to feed the ducks at Ye Old Mill, pick up apples or cider at Legend Hills or Branstool orchards, or antique shopping. Oh my gosh this place is amazing! I get why their slogan is "Ohio's Best Kept Secret." It really is! To begin, this cute shop is located in the tiny town of Utica, Ohio about 40 miles NE of downtown Columbus. But if you are obsessed with coffee shops like I am (I tend to try a minimum of 3 a week) then this is well worth the drive. I came here about 30 minutes prior to closing and I'm glad I did. The shop is on the first floor of an old hotel which in itself is pretty cool. The coolest part though, is it's all 1920s themed! Each drink has a cool name that originated from slang or words used in that era! Now onto the drinks which I guess is the important part! Everything is homemade. Which to be honest, can be hard to find when it comes to a lot of coffee shops. Most places you go to now it seems, use mixes or old ideas that you can get anywhere. Not here though. The drink combos are some that I never heard of and I am sad I didn't before! I had the eggnog latte with almond milk and it was amazing. They can make any drink with any type of milk you want, they use quality ingredients, and it resulted in a drink that I would come back to get again and again. Now onto the sweets! They are fresh made from one of the owners and most, if not all, are gluten free. They have some sugar free things too! I'm not gluten free or sugar free, but I know quite a few people who are, and I know this can be pretty hard to find. So to find a place that looks out for that, that's pretty nice. Even showing up right before closing, I never felt like I had to leave or like I made anyone mad. Both owners were super nice to talk to and even told us about the history of the building and the town of Utica! Trust me, make the drive and come to this place. You won't be disappointed. read more

I absolutely adore this place! It is so unique on how they decorated this place. They offer alot here at this shop besides coffee and tea, they have breakfast food and baked goods that looks so delicious,that I had to buy some. The two ladies working were so friendly and helpful, explained they will make the drinks however we want so it's perfect to us, if we want it less sugar or more to let them know, they will make it how we want it. I mean that is awesome! I had to give them 5 stars, the coffee was good the brownie was delicious and the service was A+. read more

I'd love to tell you just how amazing the lemon blueberry cake was and that I took so many pics that it took all the space on my phone. Truth be told that cake barely made it to the car. IT WAS INSANELY GOOD. It wasn't so sweet that it made your teeth itch and it certainly wasn't lacking flavor or blueberries. The caramel macchiato with half the sugar was great as well. If I could present and cons to what I had it would be it's a little pricey. For the slice of cake and 24 oz macchiato it was $10.46. A little pricey but when you can taste the quality of the ingredients how can you call that a con. Oh and they need a door in the back. Great customer service, very friendly staff, and they love to share the knowledge they have of coffee and sweets. A new reason to head to Utica lol. read more

Fantastic!!! My family and I stopped by this little gem. Ordered pumpkin pudding (gluten free) and pumpkin cream cookie with a large latte. Everything was perfect to the tee. The cookie was very soft & had a strong pumpkin flavor. The staff are super nice & definitely work with their customers. Restroom is clean & easy to find. When I stop by Utica again sometime on a trip out to Licking County area, this will be on my places to go. read more
