I had been meaning to get a second tattoo for the longest time but I wanted to make sure every permanent inkling on my body has big meaning. I reached out to the crew via email and received a response within a day or two. I had also reached out to the team a day after confirming my appointment to make an appointment for my mom. We both got price estimates and my appointment was 9/3 and mom's was 9/16, but got it done on 8/21 after the team reached out about a cancellation and was able to do both of ours on the same day. The breakdown * The team is very professional and very accommodating (we were both tatted up by Jing) -- my mom wasn't too sure about her design and Jing came back with a couple edits before deciding on final ink; I knew what I wanted coming into this appointment * Price: Yes, the salon is on the pricey end but if you reference their work, the quality is EVERYTHING The ink * Me: "breathe" on wrist -- I am a classic overthinker and occasionally experience anxiety (yes, I know how super basic it is but it's the constant reminder I need to chill tf out lol) * mom: stars on wrist -- this was her first tattoo and it came out amazing IMO I 1000000% recommend all to consider Jing's for a session and will be returning in the near future!

I came across a flash tattoo on Instagram and I instantly fell in love with Joseph's design. I loved the minimalistic and fine line style of his work and his years of experience will speak for itself. The response on social media and email was really quick and seamless. Their support staff are really organized and professional. They do pieces both small and big. They specialize in blackwork, illustrative, micro, and lettering tattoos!

I am absolutely blown away by the artistry and talent!!! The attention to detail is incredible! The place is very clean, safe and professional. I showed a picture of a tulip and she worked with me on how to improve it and make it last longer. Jing also added more detail and changed the color last minute for me when I requested. This business is VERY responsive to their emails and I received a detailed "orientation" for the proper care. I can't wait to go back for my next one. Great place to get a tattoo! I got my first tattoo here a few months ago. I was so nervous , since I heard it hurts a lot . But Jing made me feel calm and assured it will turn out the way I want it. A tattoo isn't something you can just wash off and re do it, so finding an experienced tattoo artist is def. a must. My friend recommended me to come here and I wasn't disappointed. I'm thinking about my second tattoo and Jing is designing an unique one just for me. If you are like me and have always wanted a tattoo but just not sure what exactly to get, I suggest making an appointment with Jing and tell her what you're looking for and she can draw up a design for you. Update** Went to Jing to get some new work done, showed her some reference pics, and as always, the tattoos came out even better than I expected & def. outdid the reference pics I showed her !

Just got my FIRST EVER tattoo at Jing's earlier today and I'm beyond satisfied with the finished product!!!! For the longest time, I've been trying get a tattoo, so it is without a doubt that I was going to be super picky with the artist. I have researched many places from San Francisco to Florida to New York to Europe to Greece, and everything led me back to Jing's. Aside from her work, her story of perfecting/expanding her style while in China and Korea, is a must read. Location: Jing's Tattoo shop is located in Flushing, and they just moved to a bigger space just a couple blocks down. Service: Prior to my 1st consultation, I emailed Jing about my thoughts on a piece and she quickly responded to schedule a face to face consultation. During my 1st consultation, I was helped by Wei, another tattoo artist at Jing's. Wei was super friendly in mapping and brainstorming 1 of the 2 pieces I want. He was very reassuring in getting the piece I want, whether it's the size, location and/or design. A deposit is required to book the appointment/working on a design (about 1/5 of estimated price of tattoo). Upon arrival today, I was greeted by Yida. Yida works the front desk and he is Jing's translator as Jing isn't super fluent in English (she speaks Mandarin and I believe Korean). Yida was very welcoming and attentive as he double checked on exactly what I wanted, where I wanted, and all the other formality stuff.  Everyone in this staff was super friendly and most importantly, they don't pressure you in any sort of way. Work: Being it my first tattoo, I was super nervous and also, I'm not big on needles and blood (I didn't tell Jing this as I didn't want to psych/worry her). Upon first touch, the pain was not bad at all. It's hard for me to compare the hands as this is my first tattoo artist (and probably my only!), but I can say Jing has a very gentle touch. As I'm laying there and watching the clock, I can tell that Jing is super detailed, cautious, and a perfectionist. She lets nothing distract her as her eyes are laser focused into her artwork. I was very surprised that this tiny piece would take ~1.5hrs, but I knew that great quality work takes time. We took a break midway, and continued to go on. I had the opportunity to see Jing outline the Roman numerals prior to shading it in. TBH, the outline almost convinced me to just leave it as it is. The lines were so precise and clean! The finished product was amazing.   Price: The price for the tattoo was a bit on the higher side than I anticipated, but for me, to have something on your body for the rest of your life, the price didn't matter. You should be paying for the artist. Jing was worth every penny + tips. Overall: Although I went with a common design of Roman numerals for my first tattoo, I'm super happy that my first time was with Jing. Everything about the look, the experience, the service was way beyond my expectations. I know this won't be my last tattoo as I am already in discussion with Yida on my second piece. I strongly recommend Jing and her colleagues if you're ever looking for your first, or simply fine line designs. Yida also walked through after care instructions and ensure how to have the best turnout. Thank you Jing, Yida and Wei, for the great first time experience. Jing is one of the most patient and detail oriented tattoo artists I've ever been to. She makes sure that you are comfortable the whole time and let's you take a break if necessary - but she can also go for several hours straight without needing to stop herself. Her attention to detail and line work is amazing. If you look at the pictures, mine is the lion tattoo on my back. Two sessions of roughly five hours each and she was done! Shop is clean and orderly, and has a welcoming feel to it that many traditional shops tend to lack. There is no intimidation factor and it is very cozy and private. Will be coming back for many more in the future!

I got a tattoo from Jay and oh man I AM SO HAPPY! She was attentive, talented, great to talk to, and made sure I knew exactly what was going on at all times. My tattoo was smaller and only took about 30 minutes but out of all my ink this is my favorite experience. Jay put up with my crazy twitching and managed to produce beautiful, clean lines. I'll definitely be back for bigger pieces, and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for cool staff and talented artists. Thanks again!

I had 2 tattoos done in 1 day done by jing. The day I went in for my consultation, I brought in my pictures and explained my ideas of how I wanted it to be. They were patient and I left my images so she could fix and detail them. On the day of my tattoos I felt nothing but comfortable and the attention to detail is amazing. There are things that separate people on the tattoo business. There are people who tattoo and there are tattoo artists. She is an amazing artist and I am more than happy with my results. I've gotten many compliments and it's only been a few hours. I highly recommend her. She is definitely an ARTIST....

I went in for my first tattoo and after much research, I stumbled upon Jing's Tattoo and I have nothing but positive things to say! Yida was incredibly helpful and patient with my indecisiveness and Jing was great to ask for her own personal opinions! I've heard nightmare rumors about the pain of a tattoo but I'm happy to say that while it was painful, the process was not unbearable. I spent about 3 hours with Jing on the tattoo and she was incredibly gentle and offered me a break. All in all, it was an amazing experience and my tattoo came out exactly as I wanted it to! Jing and Yida are very attentive to their client's requests. Jing is an exceptional artist and very meticulous with her craft. They quoted me a two hour session for my tattoo that was a quick and last minute booking since I was traveling to NY for business. Jing ended up working on my tattoo for over three hours because of the detail of my piece and the challenging skin condition. Apparently, my skin is thin and on the dry side so she had to go over the tattoo in two stages in order for the ink to settle in and keep the fine lines. They stayed late and made sure I was happy with the finished piece. I could not be more happy with the way it turned out. I highly recommend Jing. Especially if you are a fan of Dr. Woo or Mr. K tattoos. She's very affordable and accommodating and I believe she will be the next big tattoo artist to compete with Woo and K.

Came here with my sister today to get a tattoo and I have to say the shop is small but great!! This place was definitely comfortable and the staff are friendly. We had to wait 30 mins due to not making an appointment but they were willing to take us. While we waited the front guy (jing's husband I believe) turned on a movie for us to see to kill time. When I went in for my tattoo with Jing I was very pleased how it was in a private room instead of being public, unlike some places. She wasn't too light or too heavy with her gun/hand, steady and was very detail oriented! I will definitely be coming here from now on.
