However, what honestly motivates me to write a review for her is that she is really awesome when she is taking care of animals and as a pet care professional. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and she has 2 dogs and 2 cats. When we first met, my dogs instantly took to her, and she was accepting of the my kittie's quirks. From the beginning she was willing to help me out with any care needs, stepping up and anticipating needs/care at times (no lover had done that before!) and early on was willing to do overnights when I had a last minute trip out of town. Fast forward, we moved in together, have 8 animals, and she does most of the care and calls it "easy." I complain at least half the time and I'm doing like an 1/8th of the child care. :) My previous dog walker (Fetching Fuzzy Faces, who I would also highly recommend) and I convinced her to go into pet care, and we were totally right. Being a pet care professional isn't only about loving playing with animals, it is also about being a great business owner and not all of my previous walkers were even good at this part! Patricia took the time to get to know both my dogs and understand their individual needs. She worked with them for a month before she played matchmaker with her staff and found the perfect walker, Jason, for my critters. They LOVED him from the first time they met him. He's a confident guy and can easily handle my boy who is still working on polite leash skills around strange dogs. And Jason is also gentle enough for my girl, who is usually terrified of strangers and cowers around men. After each walk, I get a text update along with a handwritten note about the day. In the month between diagnosis and having to say good bye Rae was so amazing. She was flexible and responsive to my and Hugo's needs on any given day. In November 2012, Beau (a pitbull/boxer rescue) had failed three dog daycare evaluations. Unfortunately, he has a lot of energy and it made the options to keep him socialized and entertained while I was at work during the day pretty bleak. I started looking at every daycare alternative and eventually found Trailblazing Tails. I set up a consultation with Tricia and all of the worries I had went away; she is extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior and body language. She then took Beau for a walk around the neighborhood to evaluate his behavior and shortly after that they were running 5 miles twice a week. She started out just running Beau by himself, but now five months later, he is running with his own little pack of 3 to 4 dogs and absolutely loves it!
