I just need to say that years after my first review Alexis is still my go-to for caring for my cat…read more She is so reliable and kind. Brody has kidney disease and requires daily subcutaneous fluid infusions (lactated ringers). When I found out I was so worried I was going to have to board him at the vet whenever I was away, but Alexis didn't even flinch. She administers fluids to him with love whenever I am away, and I feel better knowing Brody is stress-free and comfortable at home. She keeps an observant eye out for his well-being: She'll turn on the AC or heat if the temperature is uncomfortable, administer medicine if he needs it, text me updates, and let me know if anything seems different - like a lackluster coat or change in habits. She is my best ally in his care, and I'm so grateful for her responsibility, dedication and big heart.

Our cat hides from strangers so Alexis didn't get to meet her. I explained that our cat is a little bit wild, a picky eater, gets hairballs, and is weary of strangers. We were worried that our cat would just hide and barely eat. But after the first visit, our cat warmed up to Alexis. We received many photos of our fur baby playing with Alexis and getting her cheeks scratched, as well as daily visit reports. Our cat ate well and enjoyed her new visitor while we were away. We wouldn't hesitate to hire Sits and Walks again. Dependable, trustworthy, super nice and great communicator. Thank you Alexis!

We were lucky enough to work with Catherine several times - the first a weeklong trip followed by two days here and there. We have three (spoiled) rescue cats. We switched to wet food and they're fed twice daily. I thought she would be coming by to hit the litter box and feed them, but she also has a list of things she'd do each visit: Play time, love, etc. Just when my mind would start to wander and wonder how my furballs were doing, she would send a quick text and a pic of our little pride. For each day she came, she provided a list of what was accomplished and a brief summary re: their behavior. Bonus: she's an energy healer. Who doesn't want someone like that taking care of your cats? Why didn't I make energy healer/cat sitter my career path? I digress. The only downside is she's wise enough to not cross the bridge and we just moved to Portland. If you're in Vancouver - set up the consultation. You'll be confident and so happy you did!

They made arrangements to have Molly and, I believe, Christine come to my home to meet the kids. So, while I was interviewing them they were interviewing the cats. I finally took the plunge and signed up. It was fantastic----knowing the kids were going to have food, water, clean boxes and plenty of attention. I say plenty knowing full well that 24 hours of continuous petting and cuddling is barely meeting the minimums as far as the cats are concerned. However, when I got home they were content and happy and well fed. Molly was kind enough to send me text messages and photos of the kids while I was gone so I knew they had really been there---lol---and let met see I was not being missed much. The security of knowing these ladies will come in and care for the cats is a tremendous relief for me and makes it possible for me to do some traveling. One of the really neat things was they were already well known in my apartment complex as they visit some other pets here - so my apartment manager knew them. And gave me good reports on them before I signed up. I will certainly recommend Sit and Stay to anyone who needs pet care from caring qualified professionals.

She takes amazing care of the dogs and follows every request I give her. She keeps them safe and loved. Both of my pups has separation anxiety and they are both so calm with Stacey. In October 2024 Stacey had surgery half way through our vacation so she had Danni come stay with our pups. Then the unthinkable happened and while on vacation we got hit by a hurricane and were not allowed to fly out of Florida. We had to stay an extra two days. Danni stepped up and stayed with the pups and allowed me to not worry about them. She literally was a life saver to us and thank you isn't enough. It's bad enough we had to worry about a hurricane, changing flight plans and extending our hotel, but to worry about someone staying with your pups was something Danni allowed me to not have to worry about! Stacey is never allowed to retire because that means I can't vacation anymore. There is no one else I trust with my pets. She allows me to actually enjoy my vacation because I know my babies are beyond taken care of!

I booked two 30-minute drop-in visits for total of $60 per day because house sitting wasn't available (which would be around $70 per night). Unfortunately, most visits seemed to last only about 10-15 minutes recorded by our door entry log. Pet sitters I've used from other companies have always stayed the full time, even if my shy cat, Kingsley, didn't come out right away, so they could slowly gain his trust and ensure he received his medication. This sitter seemed to be in a rush and didn't put in the same effort, which was disappointing given the importance of his care. I did let the sitter know that if it was impossible to dose him, it would be ok but I thought eventually she would be able to coax him out to give it to him like my past sitters.

Since a puppy (2022), our dog has been at ADBF daycare, board-and-train program, board-and-train refresher, and general boarding at the east location. We've had a ton of changes in life....and so obviously so has our pup. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, obviously love what they do, and ensure safety, security, and fun of all dogs in their care. Jaime, Lou, Taylor and the rest of the staff have been nothing short of above and beyond in their communication, accountability and compassion. Whether it's been a great day, a naughty day, tough night of boarding, or just a regular hang-out at daycare...staff know exactly how to approach all situations. Without hesitation I would -- and do to those whom I know! -- recommend ADBF for anyone seeking outstanding, quality care for their fur babies.

They have gone above & beyond for my puppy & I could not praise/thank them enough for their time, energy & effort to nurture my puppy's confidence & needs. Including assessing & addressing his trauma triggers being bullied as the "runt" of his litter, that occurred prior to his rescue. I am thoroughly enthralled with their most adorable & transparently informative daily report cards that are released after their daycare reservation. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to cultivate & nurture their doggo-puppers development & overall wellbeing (with a heaping side of well deserved spoiled treatment)! Will definitely be a continuing member, as long as they will have Beemo & I, after we officially move to the PNW.

I only found out the next morning when I reviewed our front door camera footage and realized our dog had been alone since 7pm the night before. I had to leave a note in the app before anyone reached out to us. When the owner finally called to apologize, I asked why we weren't contacted as soon as the issue came up. His response was, "we're not open during those hours." I'm still not sure what that means for a pet care company. If you're taking responsibility for someone's pet overnight, there is no "closed." To his credit, the owner stepped in personally to cover the rest of the wknd, but by that point the damage was done. Our dog had been alone for over 12 hours. I don't even want to think about what would have happened if we didn't have exterior cameras or happen to check them that morning. We got lucky, and we shouldn't have had to be. The whole situation was incredibly stressful and affected our entire trip. The owner comped the one night, but charged full price for the rest of the wknd. Honestly, given everything that happened, I would have expected the whole stay to be taken care of. If you need a sitter you can count on, especially for overnight stays, I'd look elsewhere. Peace of mind is the whole point, and we didn't have it.
