They have the smallest beverage section of any Walmart I have been to. This place was full of old people totally oblivious to their surroundings. I got hit and nearly hit by half a dozen seniors pushing their carts or driving one of those motorized carts. They were not paying attention to where they were going or they just did not care. Then another one cut in front of me and everyone else in line at the self checkout lane and the employee on duty did nothing to stop them. The parking lot was not even half full and yet this store was packed with shoppers. How did everyone get here?

We are SO…read moreHAPPY to find out that a family owned grocery store is only 10 mins from our new farm house!!! Tony (owners son) was very helpful and friendly. The Grocery store has any thing you might need in a pinch including Green Chilly!! We needed toothpaste, pinto beans and Red Bull. I noticed while I was shopping that they also had a plumbing section, videos, every thing a very stocked convince store would have, and they even had live night crawlers for fishing. We loved the "book exchange" in front of the store, so please bring a book and take a book we like that kind of community sharing. Also they have a gas pump. Great for a guy like me that takes it down to empty befor refueling. I will for sure support this Grocery and would say to any one visiting at Lake Caballo come and get anything you may have forgotten at your lake day.

We found good prices on some liquors and proceeded to checkout. The employee requested my husband's ID and then wanted mind-why? I am 84 with a cane and my husband is just an old-where is the common sense here? I did not have my purse with me so she refused our purchase. What the heck. Too bad Walmart, you lost a $99 sale. Police called on me ....This is in ALAMOGORDO NEW MEXICO…read more NOT SF Heres the story .. got a text message that my prescription was ready ... i was in Las cruzes as my wife had a heart attack .. she was helicoptered there 3 days before ... it took me a hour and half after that to return home... When i went to pickup my prescription there were 5 people in front of me so waited another 38 minutes in line with only ONE lady to wait on all these people...there was 10 people behind me ..there was ONE person waiting on customers... then finally they opened the second window..waited on the man in front of me .. Then it was my turn ..was told i had to wait 30 minutes for the safe to be opened....i explained i got the text over 2 hours ago .. then the wait in line ..now its almost 3 hours since the text.... i was told to come back in a hour ..as there text messages mean nothing and if i didnt leave they were calling the police .. as i was leaving the store in the parking lot i was surrounded by FOUR police cars...Told to put my hands on the police car... they frisked me for weapons as the pharmacy manager said i threated her ...she never even came to the counter..and i never said anything other then i came for my meds.... they had 8 people behind their counter to help ..yet NONE did ..the store has great staff..but the pharmacy is a joke.. my advice is NEVER get anything there...Wamarts .. Walgreens are much better and customer oriented ... pharmacy manager ...short dark hair .glasses..told me NEVER to return as they dont need my business.. if you want to be frisked and almost arrested DO not complain about waiting ...they will call the police.. i was also warned i was tresspassed so if i return ..i d be arrested.. we used to spend close to 600.00 a month there.. Any family having a birthday party knows the stress and work that is put into every detail. This cakes was ordered 10 days in advance. The writing was wrong and the calls that I received the morning of were unacceptable. The worry of the store not locating the dinosaur packet that I ordered for this cake (well in advance) THE MORNING OF, should never be the customers problem. Only to be found minutes later... due to voicemails left for me while I decorated and cooked for 25+ guests. I didn't eat the cake but those who did said it was good 'for store bought'.
