Highly recommend the bbq pork, shrimp with head, and sesame bread. More tables on the basement, and restroom for guests. Reasonable price. Changes plates. Black tea was good. Refillable sodas. An assortment of regulars and first time diners. Simple buffet service and table set up. Pay 11.95 per person

Mr Wu's for some reason has become a staple within our friendship group. I'm still unsure as to why…read more- yes it's cheap but the food for me is completely average and overly greasy and yet we continue to frequent this place and regularly. Annoyingly they didn't have chicken and sweetcorn soup so I gave the vegetable soup a whirl. WARNING: It's frickin hot. I burned my tongue and my fingers but it was actually quite nice so I finished the bowl. I then gave the duck and the ribs a whirl. The duck was way too fatty and the ribs lacked meat. Then for mains I had the paella, thick noodles, chicken curry and beef in black bean sauce. The paella lacked flavour and the noodles were over greasy but the curry was nice. I'd be worried if they couldn't get this right though. One thing that they do do well however is their prawns. Customers will literally pile plates full of them and sit there peeling and chomping away. They're fresh, juicy and well I have to say it, pretty damn good! It's £8.95 all you can eat so for what they're offering is what you get. Nothing more, nothing less.

There are three similarly named Four Seasons in Chinatown. I've finally made it to all 3. This is…read morethe Gerrard Street restaurant review. While the three offer mostly the same menu, Gerrard Street is where their excellent Roast Duck put Four Seasons on the map! Friends and I have decided the this branch tastes a bit better, and has the best tasting Poached Chicken with Ginger & Spring Onions. The chicken is delicious, not overcooked. More cilantro would have made it perfect. Unfortunately the second time here last night the chicken was sold out! This branch appears to give the least amount of BBQ roast meats when ordered as combo (two evenings before, Four Seasons-Wardour Street gave generous large cuts of Roast Duck and crispy Roast Pork Belly). The duck is flavorful and beautifully rendered, and the pork belly is to-die-for perfectly crispy! Fried Beef Ho Fun was very tasty with distinct "wok hay" flavor, meaning the wok was so hot that it added fiery char to the beef, bean sprouts and ho fun (flat rice noodles). Four Seasons offers the most variety of Chinese greens I've seen in a restaurant. We went with Morning Glory as it is hard to find in the US. It was a bit bland with just oyster sauce. I prefer with garlic but a friend doesn't like garlic. Braised Mixed Vegetables (Lo Hon style) with bean vermicelli was delicious and filled with at least 7 different vegetables and mushrooms. Ambiance, especially upstairs, is old school Cantonese Chinatown with crowded tables and chairs, worn walls, "ancient" decor, and a tiny restroom in the stairwell that is better left unseen. Service was actually surprisingly good. Brisk but conversational with smiles. This is the Four Seasons we will come back to first.
