I've never been to a walk in only brow salon, but I was immediately helped and had my eyebrows done by Shayna. She was really kind, and as she was doing my brows I noticed that the woman across from me was getting a super bomb lamination that I am absolutely getting next time I come in! I happened to be in the area last Thurs and spotted this place--perfect timing as I had my company…read moreholiday party to go to next day & I hadn't done my brows in ages. I walked in and was helped immediately (by Zoe if I recall right) who had me fill out a form on an iPad since it was my first time there and then asked me what I wanted--which was just to clean up my brows & do some shaping/make it even on both sides. She was very meticulous & checked in with me a couple times, making adjustments to make sure I was happy with the final result. Also, I liked that she wore a mask. The waxing was pretty painless (though of course the area was quite red for a while after). Efficient & good work done here! And a nice open space, quite minimalist with the waxing done by the walls.

From the beginning of the process there, I was honestly a bit overwhelmed with all the options I had. There were so many things I didn't even know you could customize about a suit that I could pick from freely. Emily did an wonderful job guiding me through my options and helping me pick the right choice when she could tell I was in over my head. In the end the suit I got ended up looking better than I could have imagined. I got tons of compliments on it during my wedding and loved being able to brag that it was made custom for me and I got to pick every little thing about it. I wish I could get every piece of clothing I wear from them. It was just such a dream and I felt supported from the beginning of the process through every fitting to the day when I got to take my suit home in their robust and well made garment bag. Everything about the process felt catered to me and I could have asked for anything at any time and they would have found a way to accomodate me. I can't wait to have a reason to go back to them for my next suit.

That's why I returned in May 2025 to order a sportcoat. Unfortunately, the customer service this time fell short of my expectations. By late August, I realized I hadn't heard anything about the order and called for an update. I was told the fabric had been out of stock and later delayed due to the factory's vacation schedule, which seemed reasonable enough. In September, they contacted me for a fitting, but the appointment date inadvertently fell on a holiday when the store was closed. I rescheduled for October. At that visit, I was told the jacket would be ready in a few weeks, but again, no one reached out. In December--more than six months after ordering--I called once more and received a text saying they'd follow up with an estimated date. When I expressed frustration about the lengthy delay, they acknowledged that the initial order had been submitted late, which contradicted earlier explanations. To their credit, they took responsibility and offered a generous store credit, which was appreciated but not expected. The reason for my three-star rating isn't the final product, which was fine, but the lack of proactive communication. I had to repeatedly contact them just to understand what was happening with an order that had been paid for months earlier. Even my salesperson at Macy's is more proactive--and I don't spend thousands of dollars at a time there. My husband has had consistently positive experiences at Alan David, so I do believe my situation was an outlier and wouldn't discourage others from trying them. They ultimately handled the service recovery well; I only wish the issue had been acknowledged and addressed earlier. My hope is simply that their follow-up and order tracking become more reliable moving forward because otherwise, you might be left with the feeling that once you've paid, nobody really cares.
