Harris Teeter selection is fantastic. I usually found what I wanted. This ranged from organic potatoes to curry sauce, Tofurky deli slices and craft beer. Their beer selection is small, but there is a nice little collection of options. You can find local brews here too, and I found that to be very very exciting! The wine selection is also extensive and delicious. There is an emphasis on Carolina wines here, and I think that is really important. As for people thinking Harris Teeter is expensive? But their meat counter is the real find--we wanted ribeyes for a barbecue and the meatcutters found us some really beautiful, aged beef and cut it to our specs and they were terriffic. Skip the Food Lion and all the other sub-par chains and stick with Harris Teeter for great food.
