I have always loved Jimmy John's, used them alll the time for delivery in IL. That delivery driver HAS to be fired or at the very least taught how to manage customer service. After waiting an hour for their freaky fast delivery I called location (super generous on my behalf) they were nice said they would call driver. After 15 min NO ONE called me back, still no sandwich. Called again the girl that answered said the delivery driver handed it to some guy. Ok?! I said there is no guy here and no sandwich. Did he even check the address? No other response except we'll make a new one and deliver it. What about my time, my money?? This franchise owner needs to do some seriously training with these kids running their store. I come here rarely..... However, what makes me consider them is that they can do sandwiches lettuce wrapped! They are about the only place in town (that I'm aware of) that can do lettuce wrapped sandwiches. Other places just do your "sandwich" on a bed of lettuce. :/ The few times I have been here has been good. No hair in my food. Thank goodness! Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Quick. I would recommend that the staff wear hair nets! Duh! But otherwise, my few experiences have been good. read more

I am in love with Jimmy John's. My first experience was in BODO so it is hard to compare Twin Falls, but it was still delish. I love the interior, the funny signs. And the workers were really nice. If you know what you are getting with Jimmy John's, this location is on par with expectations. It's a newer space, big, clean and you get your food quickly. They had lots of people working and were very nice. There is indoor and outdoor seating (a few tables outside). They offer free water and the bathrooms are very clean. The subs taste like every other Jimmy Johns we have ever been too, no surprises there. If you are in need of something quick and don't want to go to the nearby McDonalds, this is your place. read more

The sandwiches we got today at Jimmy John's were exceptionally delicious! I liked the simplicity of the menu & ordering (i'm imagining they may get compared to local Subways, but J.J.'s is MUCH higher quality). We had our sandwiches on the white hoagie bread, and 8" regular sandwich is only $4.50, so even if you add on a bunch of cheese for a buck, you are still getting a good deal for the size of the sandwich. Ordering tip: if you want a sandwich cut in half or something, ask for that when you ORDER. UPDATE from 4 to 3 stars: While the food is high quality & delish, the service has gone DOWN HILL. Can't really chalk it up to being "green" any more - employees aren't enabled to help the customer AT ALL, so even when they make a mistake (like leaving off the dijon mustard) they won't/don't have a way to fix it. UPDATE from 3 to 1 star: If you want to order for delivery, make sure you can see the store from your location or else you are outside of their delivery range. nearly everyone i know who tries to order delivery has been told they are just a block outside the delivery area.... rumor has it they still deliver to a couple of the large employers in town though like the college. read more

The first time I ate at Jimmy John's was in Chicago and it was oh so wonderful. I went to one in Salt Lake and was disappointed. Ogden...very pleased. This particular Jimmy John's is just up and running and we ate there twice in the first week. We're trying to stay away for a while so we don't get burnt out! Not worth the price......granted I got the lettuce wrap, but the amount of meat in there was very sad ....got avacado added for 1.00 more and it was a tiny smearing of green in there somewhere. I think I saw it am not 100% sure. We love Jimmy Johns. Looks like all these bad reviews are because they are not in the delivery area. I own a small business in town and we deliver. I understand that you just can't go everywhere. I order often from Blue Lakes Location and they are always very very fast and almost always correct. Reality in life is that no business is perfect. I like that they take my order quickly as well. There food may be OK but their service is terrible, especially on the delivery end. My house is exactly 2.5 miles away from this store (google) and it only takes 3 roads to get here. After making an order and hanging up, I received a call back 30 seconds later telling me that the manager had told the delivery person that my house was outside of the delivery zone and that they could not go past Washington St (1 street from my house). After asking to speak with the manager, he was very rude in telling me there was nothing he could do as it was a corporate policy, yet he would not tell me what that policy was exactly. In my opinion if a store that advertises delivery cannot send a driver 2.5 miles down the road they they are completely worthless in the delivery business and should not even bother advertising as such. The sandwiches are basic but very good. This is a new location and the employees still seem a little green. I ordered a ham and cheese "slim" (just meat and cheese) for my son forgetting that he likes lettuce and mayo on his sandwich. When I went back up to see if they could give me some mayo and lettuce to put on it, they said no. I offered to pay for it and they still said no. I realize it was my mistake, but they were unwilling to work with me to fix it. I was a little annoyed but the food was good enough that I'll go back. read more

Well, decided to give this delivery thing another go as the last time I called two years ago I was told the delivery area ended a block away from my house. So I happen to be staying at friend's house watching her son. According to what I have been previously been told I should be within the delivery area. Nope. It's still magically a block away (more like 20 yards). I asked what the radius was and he couldn't answer. He asked for the closest corner street name. First I said Park Avenue and that seemed acceptable. Then I said Highland and suddenly I was out of area. Highland is technically closer to the shop than Park Avenue is. I was soooo disappointed in our sandwiches today. I was expecting gourmet sandwiches. That means to me: choice of thick bread(maybe something grainy that's good for you) but I was given a white roll, a good quality lettuce not iceberg, and served on a plate maybe with a side of something. This was so far from gourmet; I can get a much healthier sub with more selections at subway. With a town with say 5 subways why would you open a mediocre sub shop? What this town really needs is an actual gourmet sandwich shop. Sorry, but I wasn't impressed and won't be back. read more

Sandwiches are just OK - They advertise "Delivery", but only as far as they can throw it .... I live near the College and their Blue Lakes store told me that I lived too far away - when the 2nd location opened, I thought now I can get delivery.. I live on the wrong side of the street, so ... foiled again !.. I drove from my house to the new location and it took EXACTLY 4 minutes, but is too far for them to deliver a meal?? Done with them and their "Policy"..... Used to be that a business catered to a customer - Now, we have to abide by some corporate chair making decisions for a local enterprise. Anyone can make a sandwich like Jimmy Jon's does, so the only thing that actually makes them stand out is their customer service - which is exactly NONE. Never been to JJ's and thought we would give it a try. They didnt have gluten free breads. So, I ordered the lettuce wrap. I only wanted half of an order. The guy had no idea what I was talking about. He kept saying we can take off the meat and other things instead of just doing a half order. They were still going to charge me full price of less food. The music was way to loud. I had to have him repeat himself many times. I couldn't hear what he was saying. For someone who has sound sensitivities I just upped and walked out. Walking in I saw to many people behind the counter just standing around doing nothing. When I got up to the counter they all pounced on me all at once. Jimmy Johns is AWFUL! First off, they are over priced. Their food isn't that good for the money. I can make a sandwich as equally good as theirs, if not better, from the comfort of my own home. Second, they kicked out a friend of mine because she was seen IN HER CAR with a Chick-fil-A cup in hand. They said she couldn't have another product from a competitor in their region near their store?! Third, they always reject deliveries out of their "region". Their region for delivery is literally a two mile radius around the store. Terrible service, pricey food, mediocre tastes and bad customer service. Will NOT eat there again or recommend it! Both of the restaurants in Twin Falls are a joke, their delivery area quoted by their manager is "2 miles" yet when you call in for a delivery well within that range, they tell you that you are outside the delivery area. So not only are they losing money for not delivering, they are actually giving money to their competitors that do!! Like others state in their reviews, I have seen their drivers in my neighborhood several times delivering but they always tell me that I'm out of the area when I call in, whether it be from home or work. They try to tell me its a corporate decision... isn't Jimmy Johns a franchise? Why would corporate tell them to limit their customer base and not make money? I moved here from a town that has 2 Jimmy Johns as well, and together they cover the entire city, almost 20 miles worth. Hire more drivers, increase your range, make more money!!!
