The portions were very generous and the brisket was dripping with juices when it was being carved. I ordered a side of Mac and cheese. It looked so good on my tray. Unfortunately my Mac and cheese was overcooked and had gummy noodles and a soupy texture despite being made with real cheese and being seasoned well. The brisket was as good as it looked but the dry and woody pulled pork ruined an otherwise perfect sandwich. The service was lackluster. I felt like I was bothering the staff. Make smaller batches of food so they don't overcook and train your staff to engage people. You are in a food hall, your competitors share a dining room with you. read more

I visited the 2nd Street food mall for the first time today and ordered some BBQ. Simply stated the food was delicious authentic barbecue! Tender, flavorful babyback ribs, a huge piece of sweet cornbread and a very ample helping of Mac & cheese! Everything was wonderful! I will be a happy returning customer. This has got to be one of the best tri tips i have ever had! As soon as you walk in a wall of delicious bbq smoke and smells hits you in the face! Ribs, and tri tip are amazing. I love there bbq beans because they aren't the sweet flavored ones. These have bacon pieces cooked in with the beans. 02/15/2026 Ate here for the first time @ 2nd south Market. We got the 3 meat sampler with 2 sides for $24. Everything was amazing. Seriously the best brisket I've ever had. Moist, flavorful. Even the sides of potato salad and fries were great. The beef, did have a fair amount of fat, which could have been trimmed before serving, but it certainly made the beef juicy and flavorful. Things cooled down pretty quickly, but the flavor of the meats (pork, brisket, & turkey) were amazing and juicy with a fantastic smokey taste. I'm not big on bbq sauce, I want great meat flavor without it and Smokey bone BBQ delivered. Will definitely be back when we visit Twin Falls again. We also liked the 2nd south market which had lots of food places around central tables so family could choose different places/foods (pizza, Sushi, Vietnamese) and you could all eat together. Okay kids, this is real deal bbq. We had a big group and dropped in after a day of skiing. Victoria was a rock star and walked us all through the meats and sides. Everyone got a little something different. Without question the burnt ends were the biggest hit. Super tasty with great flavor. Huge chunks. Brisket had excellent bark and deep flavor. Sausage was spicy but not overpowering. Pulled pork was moist and had a great flavor. Turkey was smokey but just a touch dry. Cornbread and honey butter was fantastic. Moist and made with corn. Cowboy beans were a different but made with meat and spicy. Potato salad was the least favorite. Nothing bad, just nothing special. Mac n cheese was surprisingly good. This a local place and deserves your stop! Food portions were silly huge. My son and I split a three meat combo and had plenty left over for two more meals. Staff was great and super friendly. To start it off ordering was a shamble. Out of mac n cheese, the fountain drink dispenser was out of order, and couldn't buy beer (yet there was beer in the fridge)... underaged staff. The inside probably had 30+ flies and a fly trap hanging by two tables with maybe 50 dead flies on them. Got the food a bit to quickly for a bbq place in my opinion. The bread was stale, burnt ends were 50/50 (rock hard, or soft), the corn bread was cold with little flavor. First off, the employees were not wearing masks or gloves and we are in the middle of COVID. I really don't know why this place is rated so high. Our food was very disappointing. I tried to order the baked potato (because Idaho, duh), but they were out. I tried to order cornbread and they were out. The fridge with the drinks was not working.... lots of strikes to start the experience... I should have known better. I finally settled on the chicken combo with mac & cheese. The Mac noodles were overcooked and the cheese tasted sour and artificial so I didn't end up eating it. The chicken had a dry rub on it that also had a sour taste to it. The BBQ sauce ALSO had a sour taste! Not sure what's up with this place. The meal came with toast (I was expecting Texas toast or a garlic toast) and it was some cheap wonder-bread-looking white bread which was not worth eating. The ONLY thing I ate from the meal was the chicken, with nothing on it. I probably should have sent the food back but I wasn't in the mood for the hassle. My partner ordered the brisket combo with cowboy beans and she was also disappointed with her meal. The meat was lacking flavor and was very fatty - all it had going for it was that it was tender and not dry. The beans tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. She had one bite of the beans and left the rest. The white horseradish sauce was gross. Sorry to be so negative, but it was HORRIBLE. I would recommend driving a few extra minutes to Ketchum to eat. I believe it may be best to visit here earlier in the day. We arrived an hour before closing and most meats were sold out. I tried the smoked turkey which was decent and the macaroni which was just okay. My dad got the ribs and he said they were good as well as the cucumber salad. The cherry pie is more like a cobbler in a pie tin and I did not enjoy it at all. They're very serious about their closing time and had all the chairs up before 8pm.
