We usually go to a different location because we love the sandwiches, but this store showed up on a delivery app, so we ordered for delivery. We ordered 4 sandwiches and all 4 were not up to Jimmy John's standards. The Italian bread was very thin and chewy. The amount of meat was much less than usual. The extra avocado I ordered for $2.40 was almost non-existent--I could barely taste it at all. Needless to say, we will not order from or go to this particular store, and will drive to the other store when we want our sandwiches. read more

We were trying to find this place at night and it was really hard because the lights were off. We asked them if they were even open because they also had the chairs on the tables and it was over an hour before closing. The place smells. Not sure what it is. I think it may be bread but it smells like icky feet. The girl who took our order Jesenia was over the top rude. Like come on. Sorry you're open and have customers but this is your job. I ate at the new one on Bell rd. 17865 West Bell Rd, Surprise. I hade the regular Tuna combo with no mayo paid xtra for avacodo spread instead. They put a teaspoon on slices of cheese instead of on the bread as I requested. They carefully put 4 sweet peppers instead of a handful, 4 pickles, 4 mini cucumbers 2 tomatoes and a little lettuce then spread a mini scoop of tuna! WTF kind of cheap ass place is this?? The cheese was so thinly sliced, I could read through it! Service was snipity, not returning, and tables not exactly clean. I beat the rush hour. The chips were the best part of meal! It's been a few months since we have eaten here. It used to be our favorite but very disappointed to see how things have gone down hill. Delivery was very slow and took almost an hour, and person was unapologetic and curt. Sandwiches were a sorry joke and overpriced. One regular sized and one so called "double meat", one bag of chips and a soda cost over $30.00 with delivery charge. 3 thin slices of meat on the regular and scant more on the double. Ordered dinner at 7:30pm. It wasn't until 8pm that they contracted out the delivery to Uber. They then "delivered" the order not until 8:30pm but delivered it to the wrong address. After several calls with Jimmy John's, they supposedly delivered it at 9:10pm, but again had the wrong apartment number. Finally got my food by 9:20pm Jimmy John's advertises being "freaky fast" but it took almost 2 hours to receive my food. I have To say I love Jimmy John's sandwiches. But I will never go to the West bell road location again, 14155 West bell road. First off I walk in. There's 2 associates working. I say hello, no one says not 1 word back to me. The other 1's working away and the other one tells the other 1 to come help me. I didn't know it was an inconvenience. I was helped by an individual who was chomping away on his gum as he took my order. Apparently he's unaware when you're in food service, you're not allowed to chew gum and second of all, you're not allowed to chew it to where I'm actually seeing you to it very disrespectful and bad customer service. I asked for mustard on my husband's sandwich mine neglect. I forgot to say the Jimmy mustard but yet he didn't offer any mustards as well. So I ended up with yellow mustard that my husband doesn't even like. I asked for extra avocado. On my sandwich, he said it would be a dollar extra. No I got chargd a 1.29 extra. Yeah it's only 29 cents it's the principle. Then when my sandwiches were ready I Walk down to the area in which you pick them up at and I said, may I get a bag, please, he says they're right, there, so apparently I have to help myself. Jimmy John's sandwiches will always be superior in my book. The staff was friendly and quick. I'm only taking a star away because they do not wear hairnets or hats and that's kind of gross when you're handling food. This is my go to for my veggie sub. I absolutely love their bread. Fun fact their dough is actually from my hometown Chicago. Delivered frozen to JJ's locations where each bakes it in their ovens. Ordered subs for the family and 2 of the 5 ordered are not only incorrect, but are doused in oil and vinegar which wasn't even ordered to be put on the subs (see picture). JJ's used to be my favorite sandwich shop. I order the Unwich. On my LAST trip I ordered my usual sandwich, the # 12, with extra cuke and extra tomato. I guess extra cucumber means two slices instead of one...same for the tomato!!! The turkey was also skimpy. It was supposed to be double the amount. But I will say that they were VERY generous with the lettuce. They should re-name the #12 the lettuce sandwich. If I had been given a choice between the lettuce sandwich that I was served and paying a bit more for the # 12 of " yesterday" , I definitely would have paid a higher price. "Freaky SLOW". I love about 5 minutes from this low cation and go in whenever that is an option. However, every time I've ordered for delivery (8-10 times) it has taken a minimum of one hour to get delivered to my house and more often than not is missing something such as chips or drinks. I get that it's busy sometimes, but I also know that every time I order isn't during their peak hours. Some communication regarding the order status would be nice, as a lot of us are on time limits or have other obligations that we can't wait an hour or more for a sandwich. Would really like to see them hire more delivery drivers to fix this issue. read more
