I eat at this JJ multiple times a week. I order for pick up or for curbside delivery. The staff here is always so friendly and usually the same people working. If they get something wrong, they are more than happy to fix it. I always modify my sandwich and they make sure they get it right. They always make it PERFECT! Receipts; Plain and Simple. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express down the road for a two week construction trip in Savannah. I went to Jimmy Johns the most. They NEVER put the receipt in my bag. I am doing my expense report and I have 5 missing receipts, all from Jimmy Johns. I would kindly ask, "Can I get a receipt". They would say, "yeah, It will be in the bag.". Yet it never was. I have all my missing receipts from Jimmy Johns. I know it may be weird somebody wanting a piece of paper proving a transaction for a sandwich. But when I travel for work I have to document all this. My company makes me, and receipts are nice. I hate playing find 100 receipts on expense reports. If somebody asks for a receipt, kindly give it to them. read more

My husband and I ate here for lunch. While ordering our food, both the old guy and the female employee paid no attention to us when we tried to order. Old guy acted like he was too busy stashing cookies at the front of the register and the female employee was on her phone and gave us some attitude because she actually had to get off her phone and do her job. Not to mention she was digging inside her shirt while handling food and she was wearing pajama bottoms. 10/10 would not recommend eating here unless they get fired. Ordered a sub sandwich to be delivered. When it arrived it had no oil and vinager that was ordered on the side. The bread was so hard that you could barely bite into it. The meat was slapped on the bread half way and the other have hanging out. The pickle that I order was sliced Willie Millie not in even sliced and was not drained was wrapped in paper with all the juices so everything got wet. There were no napkins. And I paided $15.45 for this. NOT so I called and asked to speak to the manager manager and was told that the girl that answered the phone was the manager and when I explained to her how my food was delivered, she said it would be credited back to my card and she would send me an email letting me know that she had done so that was at 3:30. It is now 826. I have not received any emailand you can vet by 9:30 in the morning they will be getting another call from me. They used to have really good sandwiches. If this is what they're serving now it will be the last one. They serve in this area to this family. This is by far the worst Jimmy John's. 3 hours before closing they are out of lettuce and for some reason can't cut bread to make a kids meal. Horrible customer service and we did not get offered our receipt. Bread was hard and had a thick dark layer on the bottom. I don't normally leave reviews but this one is just bad. Music was overly loud and we could not even hear the person behind the counter. just a plain horrible experience. Restroom was out of toilet paper also. I am giving this review SOLELY because of delivery time. I have ordered from this particular location several times and almost every time my food takes more than 30-45 minutes to get to me. This annoys me because if your motto is "freaky fast delivery", then the sandwich should still be cold when it gets to your customer. That and the fact that Jimmy John's only delivers within a certain radius, makes me think they are either very short on drivers or just don't care. Whenever I want Jimmy John's, I will go in person. Delicious subs that are fresh every time I order them with great delivery guys. My only issue is the delivery time. The freaky fast at most locations is unfortunately freaky slow at this location. Delivery times generally range between 35 minutes to 1 hr 45 min. So, if you order from here just be sure to order early. read more

First off I'm a Jimmy John's fan. I used to work downtown near the Congress location and ate there or picked up lunch every week. Always consistent good service, freaky fast and well executed. When I moved to the Southside 12 years ago I was really pleased to find I could get almost the same great food and service experience (consistency not as good, but still great for a sub shop with frequent staff changes). But the past few months at the Abercorn/ Largo store has been nothing but repeatedly bad service and incorrect orders. I must assume they've been sold to a new franchisee as all new staff. Thanks The problem really begins and ends with the person (never the same person anymore) taking the order and their process which does not allow the customer to review a screen with their order before being charged and then not getting a detailed receipt until your food is handed to you to make sure the order was input correctly. Prior to today my last 2 orders were wrong and I didn't catch until I got home. So today I took great pains in placing my order and three times I repeated my order before being charged. Somehow they still got it wrong. When I pointed it out when they handed me the bag I was told that's what I ordered. Nope. This was my last visit. I recommend you avoid too. BTW Publix next door makes a pretty good sub too! read more

Stopped in for lunch during training at the Armstrong center. Right down the road, quick service, and good, fresh sandwich toppings. The dine-in area was very clean and the folks helping us were very friendly. I decided to try an unwich (no bread, just the fixin's rolled up in a leaf of iceberg lettuce!), and I definitely enjoyed it. OH, how I wish there was a NO STAR option. Placed an online order at 9:00 AM for delivery at 12:00 to my wife, who is a teacher with a VERY limited lunch break. Get a call from her at 12:29 asking "where's lunch". To my shock and surprise her order was now 30 minutes late and she nor I had received any sort of communication there was an issue with the delivery time. Jimmy John's collected their payment PLUS a delivery fee PLUS a TIP in advance. I called the store and spoke, first, to an employee and give3n the "Oh Well, it rained, everyone ordered at the same time, we're late, we didn't call, nothing I can do for you!" Asked to speak to a manager. Haley the "manager" hops on the phone and basically says, "do you want your order or not? I can void it, but, I'm not going to do anything for you." Now that is "owning a problem and thinking beyond today's transaction." With a manager like that running the lunch operation, the competition has no worries from this store! The Abercorn location used to be really on point. I ordered an Unwhich today and it was not wrapped the way an unwhich is supposed to be wrapped. The person that made the sandwich didn't wrap the unwhich in the paper to prevent it from falling apart. When I returned to voice my dissatisfaction manager asked if I had ever had an unwhich. The answer is yes so I know how it is supposed to be wrapped. I asked the manager twice for my money back as the unwhich was already falling apart. He made the decision to not give me a refund and remade the sandwich. Now I have a sandwich that I will not eat but I guess it was better to not honor request. Never again. read more

I went in today specifically after the lunch rush. You see, I am allergic to Gluten and a lot of restaurants around town make me feel like I am a burden when I ask them to be careful preparing my food. So I go when I won't have an audience or be a burden to the staff. Much to my surprise when I told the cashier of my issue, he stopped what he was doing and let the guy making the sandwiches know. I placed my order and kept apologizing for needing special care with my food. But they said it was ok and I noticed the young man who makes the sandwiches changing out the prep board and knives. He even changed his gloves without batting an eye. I almost stood there and cried because it was the first time I felt like they cared about my health and would do what was needed to feed me something that wouldn't make me sick. I am so grateful for your Unwich sandwich and your crew who didn't make me feel like a burden. We were very disappointed when the lady making our sub said she could not cut it into thirds only in half...Wow, Really?! So, we ask her not to cut it and asked if we could get a plastic knife. She said they didn't have plastic knives. So, while my husband paid I went next door to Publix (known for their customer service) and the friendly deli department gave me a plastic knife and a smile.
