There is something very wrong with these two people! That restaurant is always empty and I have zero doubts these two are part of the reason why. I'm always down for getting a sub. Recently every time after the gym on the radio I always hear…read moreabout firehouse's new sub the pub steak sub. The service at firehouse was good like usual, what I particular like about fire house subs is that they donate money to fire houses and they give you a pickle with your sandwich. I got the large pub steak sub because I was feeling mighty hungry that evening. When I got it I drove home to devour this sandwich. The sandwich looked really good, lots of meat, cheese and crunch from the crispy onions. However the taste was not as good as the appearance. The first bite was nice and cheesy and so was the second and third. Then I realized all I could really taste was the cheese, and the bread. The crispy onions got soggy and lost in the cheese sauce. As for the meat, there was not too much taste to it. Overall, fire house sub is generally really good. Get any of their regular sandwiches and you would be pretty content for going there. However for their new special pub steak sub I was not a fan. I would definitely go back and get my usual sandwich which is the hook & ladder or their Italian.

I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with chicken nuggets, hush puppies, and Cajun cheese fries. My son ordered a double cheeseburger with nothing on it, fries, and chicken nuggets. We also asked for honey mustard and barbecue sauce for the nuggets. When we got back to our hotel, we were disappointed to find only three small nuggets in the tray and no barbecue sauce. While the sandwiches were good and they did give us honey mustard and some type of special sauce we didn't care for, the biggest letdown was the Cajun cheese fries. There was no Cajun seasoning at all, and the cheese tasted terrible--like it came from an old can with a chemical or off taste. The cheese was so bad I had to throw the whole order of fries in the trash. Overall, while the sandwiches were decent, the missing items and terrible cheese fries made this a disappointing experience.

They literally come up to your car, take your order, and bring your food back. I loved the old school feel. It took no time for my food to arrive-about 7 minutes. I got a burger, onion rings, and a hotdog all the way. The onion rings were fresh, hot, and had the perfect amount of salt. The burger was well seasoned, had that crisp, grilled taste. The hotdog was good as well-chili was perfect. It was such a nostalgic feel and definitely a must visit for the experience.

It was a little over ten dollars, which is a little pricey for me personally, but I hoped it would be worth it. It was not. My bagel came out quickly, but as soon as I opened it, I was a little sad. I was disappointed to see that there was basically no cream cheese on the bagel or lox, and most of the space was taken up by the toppings. It tasted okay, but it was nothing impressive. There is seating inside and outside too, and the inside was very clean and the line was quick. If you don't like a lot of cream cheese on your bagel, this place is for you.

I've been to this place a few times, and haven't really found anything on the menu that I've liked…read more I've given it multiple chances, but I've found this restaurant to be quite overhyped. The person making my food was not wearing gloves, which is not sanitary, and I did not observe him washing his hands before preparing it. So far I have tried the lamb over rice, spicy pasta, calzones and the pizza. The pizza and the calzone are fine, but I've gotten sick from the pasta both of the times that I have tried it, and the small amount of shrimp for the massive portion of pasta made me a little sad. The lamb over rice was alright, but I found the portion of meat was pretty small, which was the best part of the dish, and the lettuce was wilted and some pieces were brown and slimy so I had to pick them out. All their food is ridiculously greasy, which is great if that's what you are looking for, but I personally prefer my food with a little less oil. There is very limited seating and is very cramped, so be prepared to take it home and eat it. The wait times can be a little long, so definitely order online beforehand. It's open very late, so this place is probably best experienced coming back from a night out.
