While the sandwiches were just as good at any other Jimmy John's, we had to wait about 20 minutes for two sandwiches. We ordered a #4 lil John and #16 regular. There was a huge backup of people waiting for their orders. Each of these customers had 1 to 3 sandwiches in their order. Nothing crazy. I believe this location needs to work on their delegation of employee tasks. From what I saw, it seemed the whole staff was working on a catering order (except for 3 people just standing there) and none were working on the orders of those who physically came into the store. It led to a lot of disgruntled customers and a huge backup of orders. It's wild that I had to wait 20 minutes for a sandwich smaller than my husband's p***s (both girth and length). This could've easily been mitigated by assigning one or two people on in-person orders while the lunch rush was happening. From start to finish our sandwiches took about 1 minute to make, and we shouldn't have had to wait 20 minutes. Please consider the organization of tasks at this location. Stood there in lobby quite a while in front of the register waiting to order....just acted like I was invisible. every single time we order from this jimmy johns, our delivery always takes an hour plus from the initial point of the order. one sandwich is always made wrong. when calling the restaurant to figure out what's going on or to resolve an issue, anyone that answers the phone is always rude as fuck and doesn't care to help their customers. today 3-4-25, i ordered food for myself and husband and it took just over 2 hours for delivery. i understand the restaurant was busy, as they just released their new toasted sandwiches, but when i called to see what was taking so long (bc i as a restaurant worker i think 2 hours is still ridiculous even when busy) i was greeted with attitude as the woman answered the phone, and when i addressed my concern she proceeded to say "i really don't care call corporate." and when i finally received my delivery, thank you to the man that was driving all those orders btw you were so nice when you handed me my order, one of my sandwiches were wrong lol. i understand being busy, and being understaffed. been there, done that, still deal with it sometimes... but the bitchy attitude from your team is fucking ridiculous. customer service is hard on your mental, and acting like that makes it even worse. have the day yall deserve and next time turn off delivery if you're actually receiving 300+ orders and only have 2 drivers!!! read more

I absolutely love Jimmy John's and made my family go out of the way on a family trip to go to this location. It was a terrible experience. it was the antithesis of "Freaky Fast.". it was a "Freaky Failure!". I watched as the poor employees were completely overwhelmed. There were no systems in place to serve the customers in a timely basis. I watched as guests who had already paid for their food. Waited a minimum of 45 minutes. Finally they gave up and asked for their money back. The gas was refunded his money, but there were no apologies. No one really cared. This location has fallen so far short of Jimmy John's standards. after reading the other reviews on this location, it's clearly not an anomaly. it's poorly managed and needs help. The worst fucking Jimmy Johns I have ever had to deal with, Sad that people like this entered the workforce. I paid for it at the same time. The delivery driver arrived and told me the food was not paid for. I called the store to resolve the situation. The manager told me it was not paid for, and I told her I had confirmation on my account and from their end that it is paid for. She instead wanted payment again and would not let the driver leave the food with me. I'm not sure how it is right for me to pay for food twice. If this is how your business is run, be prepared to lose customers. I will never order Jimmy John's again. read more

Our go to Sub place. We love the subs from Jimmy John's. I usually get a #8. The signs on the wall are worth the visit. Always fast service, they live up to their freaky fast reputation. This is so sad. I order from jj at least 4 times a week from here. NO MORE BUSSINESS FROM ME!!! I order my usual. i order the same thing everytime, I even do it online so my order is "pre saved" and i just hit the reorder button. So when it arrives it the wrong sandwich. I called up and spoke to the manager lance and. He was the rudest manager. Was saying it was all my fault that THEY made the sandwich wrong he then proceeded to tell me "ill remake this sandwich just this one time and you need to wrap up the wrong one and give it back." I've gone into this Jimmy John's probably three times in two years and one of the biggest reasons is because some of the staff is kind of rude. The sandwiches aren't very appetizing either. They make them all one way and that's it. Why bother when you can go down the street to Subway and get what you want, made however you want? The Portage Jimmy Johns on Willowcreek was awful!! I ordered a veggie club Unwiche. I'm not sure how you can screw that up...but they did! I asked for very little mayo & no tomatoes. I got the exact opposite rolled up on a broken piece of iceberg lettuce. It was all gross! However, my great & delicious experience at the Hobart Jimmy Johns on E. Ridge Rd. will keep me going back there...and only there. At least they give you what you want with sprouts & a decent amount of guacamole to go with your veggies. Worst customer service ever. I work nearby and frequently order Jimmy John's for lunch. I always order online. When I selected my location, selected delivery, placed my order, and paid for my order I was patiently waiting for my lunch. I have a limited and fixed lunch time. When it was 15 minutes late, I called and they stated that it came in as a pick up. (No clue as to why because I selected the location and delivery, which was how my order came to that store. This is not my home location.) I was told that I would have to reorder the food, and they would not deliver it unless I reordered the food and paid once again for the same order. They also stated that I would have to wait a long time to receive my food as they were very busy. Even the manager told me to "call corporate because they do not have control over the online system". I work two jobs and do not have time to stop and eat in between. This won't be the last time I order Jimmy John's, but it certainly will be the last time I order from this location. read more
