I've been ordering delivery from this location for a little bit because it's close to my job. I always order the same thing and put in the delivery instructions "extra mayo please" and every single time they don't put ANY mayo in the bag and forget the straw for the drink. I guess I'll enjoy this dry ass sandwich? DO BETTER! read more

While the sandwiches were just as good at any other Jimmy John's, we had to wait about 20 minutes for two sandwiches. We ordered a #4 lil John and #16 regular. There was a huge backup of people waiting for their orders. Each of these customers had 1 to 3 sandwiches in their order. Nothing crazy. I believe this location needs to work on their delegation of employee tasks. From what I saw, it seemed the whole staff was working on a catering order (except for 3 people just standing there) and none were working on the orders of those who physically came into the store. It led to a lot of disgruntled customers and a huge backup of orders. It's wild that I had to wait 20 minutes for a sandwich smaller than my husband's p***s (both girth and length). This could've easily been mitigated by assigning one or two people on in-person orders while the lunch rush was happening. From start to finish our sandwiches took about 1 minute to make, and we shouldn't have had to wait 20 minutes. Please consider the organization of tasks at this location. (Also online ordering should be illegal!!!) read more

Plus sized kid at the register mad weird. How about a "hey can I take your order" big boy so focused on the cookies he can't remember to take orders. Stood there in lobby quite a while in front of the register waiting to order....just acted like I was invisible. Then I give him cash after I eventually order and he swipes it from my hand like it's going into his anime girl collection fund. Just weird. Go outside bro. Something. read more

Wish I could give zero stars. Dude at the cash register spoke quiet & literally has the worst customer service skills I've ever seen. How about you stop being miserable at your job? How about you get another one if you hate this one so much? Very unwelcoming, very uninviting. On the plus side, sandwich was good lol. read more

Everything gets here so fast and fresh. Every driver is amazing. No issues with missing items ever. 5 out 5 kudos to the team and management. read more

every single time we order from this jimmy johns, our delivery always takes an hour plus from the initial point of the order. one sandwich is always made wrong. when calling the restaurant to figure out what's going on or to resolve an issue, anyone that answers the phone is always rude as fuck and doesn't care to help their customers. today 3-4-25, i ordered food for myself and husband and it took just over 2 hours for delivery. i understand the restaurant was busy, as they just released their new toasted sandwiches, but when i called to see what was taking so long (bc i as a restaurant worker i think 2 hours is still ridiculous even when busy) i was greeted with attitude as the woman answered the phone, and when i addressed my concern she proceeded to say "i really don't care call corporate." and when i finally received my delivery, thank you to the man that was driving all those orders btw you were so nice when you handed me my order, one of my sandwiches were wrong lol. i understand being busy, and being understaffed. been there, done that, still deal with it sometimes... but the bitchy attitude from your team is fucking ridiculous. customer service is hard on your mental, and acting like that makes it even worse. have the day yall deserve and next time turn off delivery if you're actually receiving 300+ orders and only have 2 drivers!!! read more

I absolutely love Jimmy John's and made my family go out of the way on a family trip to go to this location. It was a terrible experience. it was the antithesis of "Freaky Fast.". it was a "Freaky Failure!". I watched as the poor employees were completely overwhelmed. There were no systems in place to serve the customers in a timely basis. I watched as guests who had already paid for their food. Waited a minimum of 45 minutes. Finally they gave up and asked for their money back. The gas was refunded his money, but there were no apologies. No one really cared. This location has fallen so far short of Jimmy John's standards. after reading the other reviews on this location, it's clearly not an anomaly. it's poorly managed and needs help. Hopefully corporate will get this message. read more

The worst fucking Jimmy Johns I have ever had to deal with, Sad that people like this entered the workforce. So sick and tired of working my whole day away to wanna get home and relax and order something simple like some jimmy johns just for 2 sandwiches to take an hour or more every single time. Store is .2 miles away. POINT FUCKING 2. 30 minutes to make 2 simple sandwiches and then 40+ minutes to deliver .2 miles away? Not even napkins OR straws in the bag after this wait? This place is fucking terrible. If you can avoid eating at this location id suggest you do so. read more

Ordered around 11:30 didn't receive meal until 40-50 minutes later when i live half a mile away! i called into the store and was treated rude absolute terrible besides the amazing delivery driver, really comes down to terrible management to me smh. the sandwich was also not good and poorly thrown together and wrapped read more

It's a big 0, but no option to choose 0 star. No problem with the employees, they are doing their job, the problem here is the owner, Lance Dawson. This man needs to hide somewhere and stay away from customers. Just because he didn't get my order right, he thought it's ok to scream and yell, calling me all kind of names in front of his employees . Unbelievable! read more

Literally ALWAYS skimps on meat. Last time I got a club lulu which should have twice the meat and got 2 pieces of turkey with 3 pieces of bacon. This time I got club tuna which had tuna only in the middle of the sandwich, I had to cut half the sandwich away to get to the meat. read more

Typical Jimmy johns sandwiches, mediocre overpriced for what they are. The reason I am reviewing though is to inform everyone of awful customer service. I ordered food online. I paid for it at the same time. The delivery driver arrived and told me the food was not paid for. I called the store to resolve the situation. The manager told me it was not paid for, and I told her I had confirmation on my account and from their end that it is paid for. She instead wanted payment again and would not let the driver leave the food with me. I'm not sure how it is right for me to pay for food twice. If this is how your business is run, be prepared to lose customers. I will never order Jimmy John's again. read more

It took me about 3 years from my last JJ experience to forget how much I hated their sandwiches. The pale bread slathered with mayo, sad shredded lettuce and a couple of token vegetables and a pinch of avocado...a horrible, bland mush. After 3 years, I reminded myself why I hate this place. I think it'll take me 6 years to forget my abysmal lunch. read more

Our go to Sub place. We love the subs from Jimmy John's. I usually get a #8. The signs on the wall are worth the visit. Always fast service, they live up to their freaky fast reputation. Go buy their day old bread if you are making Italian beef or your own subs at home. It's cheap and good. read more

A couple miles off the highway (for those of you road-tripping like I was) you will find a little gem of a sandwich shop called Jimmy Johns. I know, it's a large chain and they are all over (just not in California, ugh!). But seriously, good sandwiches, fun decor--read the wall signs. Also--there's a Starbucks next door. For the road-trippers, this is a double whammy! read more

This is so sad. I order from jj at least 4 times a week from here. NO MORE BUSSINESS FROM ME!!! I order my usual. i order the same thing everytime, I even do it online so my order is "pre saved" and i just hit the reorder button. So when it arrives it the wrong sandwich. I called up and spoke to the manager lance and. He was the rudest manager. Was saying it was all my fault that THEY made the sandwich wrong he then proceeded to tell me "ill remake this sandwich just this one time and you need to wrap up the wrong one and give it back." I mean what kind of customer service is that? Will be boycotting jjs for a long time! Its money they lost not me. Good job on your part LANCE!! read more

Great sandwiches my fave is the tuna!! I love the bread.

Typical Jimmy John's affair. This particular restaurant has a lot of the normal decoration, interesting signs, cool lighting, and as always with Jimmy John's cheap, but good food. Their bread is quality stuff, not the soft stuff that many other fast food sandwich places use. read more

I've gone into this Jimmy John's probably three times in two years and one of the biggest reasons is because some of the staff is kind of rude. The sandwiches aren't very appetizing either. They make them all one way and that's it. Why bother when you can go down the street to Subway and get what you want, made however you want? (Oh, and they hate when you mention anything about Subway). ;) read more

The Portage Jimmy Johns on Willowcreek was awful!! I ordered a veggie club Unwiche. I'm not sure how you can screw that up...but they did! I asked for very little mayo & no tomatoes. I got the exact opposite rolled up on a broken piece of iceberg lettuce. It was all gross! However, my great & delicious experience at the Hobart Jimmy Johns on E. Ridge Rd. will keep me going back there...and only there. At least they give you what you want with sprouts & a decent amount of guacamole to go with your veggies. Sorry Portage Jimmy Johns, I won't be back! read more

The food was good the problem was, I ordered a classic roast beef and the sandwich I got had one piece of roast beef in the whole sandwich so basically it was a lettuce and tomato sandwich with a sprinkle of roast beef not worth the $$$ read more

Worst customer service ever. I work nearby and frequently order Jimmy John's for lunch. I always order online. When I selected my location, selected delivery, placed my order, and paid for my order I was patiently waiting for my lunch. I have a limited and fixed lunch time. When it was 15 minutes late, I called and they stated that it came in as a pick up. (No clue as to why because I selected the location and delivery, which was how my order came to that store. This is not my home location.) I was told that I would have to reorder the food, and they would not deliver it unless I reordered the food and paid once again for the same order. They also stated that I would have to wait a long time to receive my food as they were very busy. Even the manager told me to "call corporate because they do not have control over the online system". I work two jobs and do not have time to stop and eat in between. This won't be the last time I order Jimmy John's, but it certainly will be the last time I order from this location. read more
