I ordered an original salami sandwich. I bought it to go and added a lil zing at home, jalapeno etc. it's a good basic sandwich

Ordered two sandwiches--one regular, one giant. The girl hands us the bag, then realizes the cashier (on his first day) only rang up two regulars. Instead of fixing it properly, she tells us we need to pay for another regular sandwich--even though that means we'd pay more than the actual cost of what we ordered because the giant sandwich is discounted from two regulars. I logically pointed that out, and she basically shrugged it off saying it was "only a few bucks" and shouldn't bother us. She never offered to void the transaction and re-ring it correctly, just expected us to eat the extra cost for their mistake. When I said we shouldn't have to do that, she actually accused me of being rude while re-emphasizing it was the cashier's first day. The cashier mistake wasn't the problem, her attitude and inability to rectify the situation was. Then, she grabbed our bag back, reaches in and takes back the second half of the giant sandwich (which she made as two regulars) and gives us the bag back like nothing happened. Unreal. So happy I had tipped 15% for such audacious and incompetent behavior.. It's unfortunate companies even hire employees which such ineptitude. I don't mind people making mistakes--especially new employees--but this wasn't about that. This was about terrible customer service, and we ended up with less food, paid more, and got blamed for it. We won't ever be back. Hope those few dollars were worth losing a regular customer. read more

I've always had the BEST service from an older gentleman...not sure if he is the manager, but probably should be. Unfortunately, my daughter and I just encountered the WORST service from a young lady and young boy. Due to medical reasons, my daughter cannot physically eat bread, so she asked that her sandwich be wrapped in a piece of lettuce. The lady who claimed to be the manager on duty REFUSED to lay the meat on a piece of lettuce instead of the bread unless my daughter purchased a ligand sub. One leaf of lettuce is probably cheaper than a large bun, so what is the big deal in accommodating someone's medical needs? Well, apparently it was a big deal! My daughter returned to the car visibly upset by the attitude she was faced with over her order and they made it their way anyways and charged us for the sandwich despite my daughter saying she did not want it because she wouldn't be able to eat. I took the sandwich back in and asked for a refund and was met with the same nasty attitude from the lady claiming to be the manager. She said she didn't accommodate the request because my daughter didn't explain the medical reason for not wanting the sandwich on bread. I explained to her that it is NOT her business why my daughter can't medically consume the bread. Needless to say, after a 10 minute battle, she made the sandwich on the lettuce. It was ABSOLUTELY no big deal, so why in the world did a franchise like Jimmy John's make a HUGE deal out of putting meat on a lettuce leaf? They totally ruined our evening and meal. I was in the mood for a Sub, didn't want to travel far, and wanted to try some place new. The place was clean, but empty. I ordered a basic Roast beef Sub, lettuce, tomato, mayo, onion, oil and vinegar. They don't have salt and pepper!(?) Anyway, their Giant Sub with little meat on it $16+, I left the remainder in tip jar. Would I return again, probably not. I can make a better Sub at home, very blan, quality not there. I got Jimmy John's 2 times now and hoping that the second time around it would be better. Well I'm here to tell you that it's just as bad as the first time. The subs taste and look the ones you get at the gas stations. The quality is so poor. They only one kind of cheese for all sandwiches? What?! What kind of sun shop is this. Hello my name is Kamden Higgs, I'd like to start by saying I have been a customer for years and have had excellent service up until now. I recently purchased an order from Jimmy Johns and unfortunately things happen sometimes where orders get wrong. This time however I was met with the largest attitude from Alexa who is the manager there. Asked her if she was ok and her response, needless to say, displayed anything but customer service. Let me explain the reason why I called in. I had opened a bag of their brand of chips and out came something rather large and unlike a potato chip. I asked if I could send a photo of the "chip"? And she then got on the phone with a higher up. A few minutes later she got back on with an abundance of attitude. Enough so that my grandmother and wife both told me to hang up and write a review because it was that bad. (She was on speaker phone) Long story short, Alexa I hope your reading this because it took every ounce of strength I had to not show my ass in front of my family and tell you where you can shove your attitude. The lack of discipline/restraint that you showed made it completely apparent that your not fit to be the manager of any establishment. Especially the part where you denied not putting sauce on the sandwiches and then proceeded to write "made by Alexa" on the next sandwich that arrived truly shows that your a young immature person. And after Jose explained after the fact that you indeed are young put everything into perspective for us. Luckily for you, Jose is more versed in customer service and brought balance to the situation. read more

My family loves this place, since I am gluten free and vegetarian, I don't have much choice. They do have a veggie wrap and today for the first time I tried the tuna in the lettuce wrap. Still needed some mayo for taste. They have sprouts on their menu but still do not offer it since there was a recall over a year ago. I think meanwhile, they should offer you a free substitute. The place is fast, friendly and I guess a healthier choice. Most items are $5.99, chips extra. Sit down inside or out. I prefer the one off of Immokalee Rd across from Sam's Club, traffic and parking is not as crazy. read more

My fiance loves Jimmy John's. I feel bad saying that I do not. I don't like the bread nor do I like that their meats, while also lacking taste, are what I can only describe as slippery. The last thing I want from any sandwich shop is for half of the contents of my sandwich retreat every time I attempt to take a bite. They do deliver which is super convenient. I hear their advertisements often promoting how they're so fast. I did the research. Google Maps states I'm a 6 minute drive away. Now, if the average sandwich making process takes 2 minutes. Then you have to get in your vehicle. Add 30 seconds. Caught at a red light, add another minute. If you're outright bragging about being super fast... It shouldn't take 45 minutes for a sandwich. The math is there. Perhaps the slippery meat slipped out of their hands and they had to remake it. Not a fan of the product or their boasting about false delivery times. Around 3:30 on a Monday morning, it took approximately fifteen (15) minutes for my GF and I to get our sandwiches with a very small line from the establishment that fancies itself as "freaky fast". Luckily, her sandwich came out as ordered. However the extra pickles she paid for came nicely wrapped... only it was a handful of mixed peppers that looks like someone smashed and rolled up in newspaper. My sandwich, which was of the Italian variety, was properly marked on the ticket as I ordered, and even on the wrapper (the scribbling in marker indicated some sort of special order). However, instead of no tomato, onion or mayo, they made sure to fully load the sandwich with everything I requested NOT on the sandwich. Again, while marking on both the wrapper and on the ticket that it had been properly made. So.. for the low price of around twenty (20) dollars, I got one proper sandwich and some fountain drinks. I suppose I should blame myself for not being one of those people who refuse to leave the counter and hold everyone else up, whilst I dissemble every last wrapper in the bag and fully inspect the food. Then again... should I have to be? This is the second time I've tried Jimmy Johns in two (2) different states. Once in San Antonio Texas, and once here in Naples, Florida. Both times screwed, and never again. I would recommend a gas station Subway before Jimmy Johns, and that's saying a lot. read more

Ordered multiple times over the last 8 years, relocated to Naples 6 months ago. started using the App you can customize your toppings. Despite putting not to add tomato due to my allergy thy still added it...I even called the store before submitting my order asking to not add them. Well, 6 orders later I called the store because I had a bad allergic reaction; The Manager literally chuckled and said they get it right 99.9% of the time and they always look at the orders-- 99% of the time???? and I've had it wrong 6/6 times. Staff amazing, very nice, not above & beyond nice, but who cares when your food is made immediately-- that's crazy. Sandwich meat was laid flat & true delis layer but it's fast food, so whatever, tomato slices (cut from the top with all the thick stem stuff & the bottom with that pointy lil black button) aligned my sandwich as thin as my supposed double portion roast beef wedge (I would hate to pay or see regular portion) I destroyed the sandwich (starved at the time) & enjoyed the chips, this fast food place is nice for what it is, but if I ever want a fast food sub in Naples, this wouldn't be it, I'll try something else read more

It's true what they say--Jimmy John's is super fast. If I walk in, my sub is waiting for me on the counter before I can fill up my cup at the soda station. If I order delivery, I usually get my food within 20 minutes. The employees are pleasant and they actually wear gloves when making the food, which I love to see!!! (I also like that the store is clean, and doesn't have that funky smell that smacks you in the face when you walk into a Subway.) Once, our delivery was shorted a bag of chips. I called to request a refund, and the manager insisted he would send someone out with them right away. 5 minutes later, 2 bags of chips were at our door. Boom. Great service. I'm not a huge fan of Jimmy John's, but that's mainly because I don't eat processed meats. I'm only giving my review of JJ's because its roots actually stem from Chicago. The founders lived near me....but I don't know them. I ate at JJ's 15 + years ago in Chicago before they were supper famous. There was not much out there at the time except for Subway and Blimpie. JJ's was actually the better of all of them at the time. Problem is that there are a lot of sandwich shops now....and the smaller deli style usually have better quality and more to offer. For a large franchise sandwich shop, JJ's is pretty good.....but compatibly to all the other selections now there are better options. I would say eat here over Subway for sure. But, start with the local butcher shops and delis. read more

I love jimmy johns. They have great food. There are options for almost all diet restrictions. Though I had a friend with a gluten allergy and the cheese is supposed to have gluten in it (correct me if I am wrong). I am disappointed they have removed sprouts from the menu. I would give all Jimmy Johns about 2 stars, my husband 3-4, so we'll say three. Despite tasty bread, I find these subs totally boring. I keep trying different combinations, but they all taste the same- I guess because I find their toppings pretty limited. One kind of cheese, about 3 choices for veggies, no pickles, no more spouts, limp rubbery "bacon". And the avocado spread is nothing to get excited about., and I dislike the turkey. ( ha ha when I read that it clearly says: I despise Jimmy John's) My husband enjoys the simplicity although he does come home and add better cheese, yellow peppers, avocados, or a nice spread and of course pickles. Price-wise $6.00 for an 8" sub is ok. They get our order right about 3/4 of the time. I also don't like that there are no other side dishes, just chips and a cookie. It's my last pick, and now we'll usually have him get his JJ sub, and I grab something from somewhere else. They do deliver in the immediate area. read more

Extremely disappointed. Ordered the 8-inch veggie roll and wish I'd watched the lady make it. I brought it home to eat and there was barely anything in it. The cukes were cut so thin one could read through them... same for the tomatoes. Four slices of each and couldn't even taste them because there was so much mayo on the bread. There was maybe a small palmful of lettuce in it. I opened a bag of salad I had at home and stuffed the sandwich with that so I could at least taste something besides bread smothered in mayo. I don't know what the fuss is all about with this place, but I'll never go back. Wish now I'd stayed in the drive-thru line at Panera Bread. This is by far the slowest Jimmy Johns in Naples. I live .6 miles from the store so it's my go to for delivery. Should be freaky fast right? Wrong. The first time my order took over an hour I contacted the franchise owner who was very apologetic and sent me a gift card which I thought was above and beyond so I continue to order from them and the order times continue to get longer and longer. They always call and tell me drivers have called out but it's always the same excuse. Today I ordered two sandwiches at 11:44 got a call at 12:26 they were short staffed again at 12:55 I called back to cancel and was met with attitude because my order was already out for delivery, yeah kid it's been out for 45minutes when it's a 4 minute drive to my house! I understand staffing issues but this seems like an owner issue to me. I wish I still lived in palm river because that one is always fast. read more

I don't order from Jimmy John's because they have a spectacular, unique menu. They have subs. Cold subs. Lunchmeat on bread. I order from them because it is a pleasant and fast experience - until now. I had limited time so I ordered some delivery - which in the past normally took 15-20 mins. After almost an hour I called the store and they said "we only have two delivery drivers." The guy I spoke to was not helpful or apologetic. Just said "it should be there soon." After about 5 more minutes I called back and said I wanted to cancel the order. I was hungry - it wouldn't have taken much effort (on either call) for the guy to try to save my business, but he really didn't care. Overall, a super poor experience. Like I said, I ordered from Jimmy John's because they were fast and efficient. I can get deli meats on bread just about anywhere. read more

Awesome subs! The fresh french bread they use is the best. The subs are made fast too which is perfect for lunch time. The only thing that bugs me about this place is they don't put napkins out. Why is it so difficult to put a napkin holder near the soda machine? Its not a huge deal since I used a piece of roast beef to wipe the mayo off my lip, but it would be nice to see some napkins out to use. read more

I have ate at jimmy johns from traverse city Michigan to here in Naples fl. My teens fell in love with them at the Augusta ga store where we would always get a sub before a movie. My impression of this store? No where near the friendliness of any of the stores I've been at. I ordered a #1. Pepe and it was the economy version of a #1. Hardly any toppings. Barely any mayo and when you looked at the sandwich sideways there was hardly any gap between top and bottom of the bread. Either I have ate at stores that were generous or they're plain cheap at this store. read more

I order from this location quite often both as a walk in and delivery for lunch. Many of co-workers order lunch from here on a weekly basis as well. We have also ordered some catering from here for a meeting. The owner and his staff are great. I have never had a bad experience at this location. Food is always fast and tasty. read more

This place has very friendly staff and the chain makes the world's best French bread. I've never been disappointed dining at this place. The most popular sandwich is the Italian Nightclub, which I highly recommend. I'm also a fan of the Billy Club, which has roast beef and mustard. The food is always fresh and the restaurant is super-clean. This place is a nice compromise between the low-quality food at other fast-food chains and the more expensive food at other restaurants in the area. I own a Franchise of my own and work very hard to keep my customers happy and keep them recommend me ot others .... Story last night I ate at JJ's food was great so good that I recommended it to my employees. We decided we would have them for lunch delivery because they are "fast" now my store is 5.1 miles away from them an 8 min drive. I was told they will not deliver more than 2 miles away from there store! If you live within 2 miles why would you have delivery?? I then called JJ's Corp to talk to a woman who told me they dont make exceptions to they policy. I drive 1 1/2 hours away for my customers to keep them happy and coming back. This is the problem with lazy america. I then told the woman from JJ's Corp that I would be willing to pay an 8 dollar delivery fee roughly the hourly rate of one minimum wage employees to drive a round trip total of 15 min. Claim they are fast I would be so happy with a 15 min delivery verses a 45 min pizza delivery. They would still keep the "fast" title they hold so dear. I have very Unhappy with this Corp and will voice it to anyone who brings up there're name to me, customers and friends and family. read more
