I have to start by saying that normally I have a great experience going to this location, not sure what happened tonight. First the guy that made the sandwiches just kind of threw them together (I get "freaky fast" but this was ridiculous). Then he just plopped the sandwiches down in front of me, no bag, the person at the register asked if I would like a bag to which I said yes. When I was putting my food in the bag so we could leave there was turkey sticking to the outside of the wrapper. I ordered two slim turkey tom sandwiches and added cheese, my kids only want meat and cheese. I got home and both of their sandwiches had mayo, brown lettuce and tomatoes on them so they won't eat them. I ordered a turkey tom on wheat for myself, it also had brown lettuce, only half of the sandwich had cheese and one piece of bread was about half the size of the other. Other than the lettuce being brown and there being a chunk of the core on there, my husbands sandwich was ok. read more

So just heard from corporate after the manager said they would refund our money from a totally messed up order Christmas Eve of $77. We received a $10 gift card with no note or apology. This is just as egregious as the first order. I'm in the food business and I learned a long time ago that offering a free dessert when the entire experience was wrong is a slap in the face. read more

This place has good sub sandwiches. I think the bread is way above average, very tasty and fresh. I ordered a "Vito" which is italian, and it came out in about 1-2 minutes. No one else was there, but i was still surprised at how fast they made it. There are two levels of sandwich, small and larger than small. I got the small and it was perfect for me. I will need to come back to explore the menu a bit more. read more

Understanding COVID has affected all restaurants (we are in the business), it doesn't excuse disregarding the opportunity to make it right. Don't waste your time or money at Jimmy John's. After ordering 9 sandwiches online with very specific instructions per their app, we were shorted several items and what was received was either incorrect or sparse in toppings. They were paid almost $100 and we actually got about 50% of what we ordered correctly. I'm not even sure what to say about this place that hasn't already been said in most of the other reviews. This was our first time going to Jimmy John's and the people at the counter were helpful when I had questions. I specifically went here because I'm trying to watch what I eat and a friend told me about their unwich and thinny chips. I ended up getting the bootlegger unwich (a lettuce wrap) with thinny chips and an unsweet tea. Both times that I've been to Jimmy John's the tea has not been sour, and that's a big deal to me.The food was all fresh and my unwich was pretty darn good. They told us about their rewards program. After so many visits/orders, you earn free food. I earned a free sandwich on my 2nd visit, which isn't hard to do when you have a family of 5. The restaurant was spotless. No complaints here. I quit going here. I tried to customize my sub and was informed that wasn't allowed. When I asked the manager why I could not pick what I wanted on my sandwich, I was told "our consultants have researched what tastes best and how our sandwiches should be made." Awesome sandwiches made FAST! I'm a bit surprised at the negative reviews on here regarding special requests. My wife always has special requests for sandwiches and Jimmy Johns has never taken issue with that. Love the bread - nothing like it anywhere else. Ingredients are always fresh and plentiful. My only complaint would be the tiny delivery area, but they are in a convenient location, so swinging by is not a big ordeal. read more

I am always seeing the Jimmy John's commercials. I even looked up the menu online at one time, but I didn't think anything looked interested. Well I was waiting for my husband to pick me up from my hair appointment and this was the closest place to eat. I am so glad I stopped in. Their sandwiches are delicious! I was really impressed. They may be more simple than Subway or Quiznos but I like that about it. Also, their bread seems to be more fresh than the competitors. (and not mushy!!) I also must say, the commercials are right!! They are SPEEDY!! I paid and realized I forgot to ask for no tomatoes, I looked up to ask if it was too late to fix it. My favorite place for a sub! I almost always get the Beach Club which is a turkey sub, with cheese, cucumber, lettuce, spouts, and avocado smear on fresh and tasty bread. I swear the bread and the high quality fresh veggies make all the difference! I have also tried the Tuna Club and the Vito (an itialian sub) and both were great. The service is also super fast no matter how busy they are and delivery is also available. Day old loaves of bread are also available for sale for 50 cents a loaf. Atmosphere is fun with lots of humorous signs on the walls to keep you entertained while you woof down your sandwich! read more

I work at TrustPoint and ordered a tuna sandwich for a lunch meeting. The sandwich took 30 minutes to arrive and there was literally NO tuna on the sandwich. Just cheese and lettuce. I wish I could post a photo. I called and spoke to the general msnager, Robin Sweat, that stated they could not refund my money but would send another sandwich. I asked for the name of her area manager and she would not give it to me. I stated that this was for a meeting and someone was left without a lunch. I work for leadership at the hospital and we use them quite often. That will no longer be the case. Very disappointed. By the time they brought the sandwich back, the meeting was over as this process took an hour and 15 minutes. Must be under new ownership as we have never had this issue before. Beware. read more

This is fast food. We walk in and by the time we are done getting our drinks our sandwiches are done. We love the sandwiches here and come here once every 2 weeks or so. Inexpensive and quick. Can't beat that. Inside is always clean. Folks are very friendly. read more

Normally jimmy Johns is our favorite place to eat and usually the place is pretty cool and nice BUT today it was pretty sad to see that they don't really care if your child accidentally drops her sandwich on the floor. After dropping her sandwich I asked Robin, an employee that works there, if there's anything they could do to help us and she flat out said "No". First of all I'd like to say that I ate there twice in a matter of months and both times got a sub-standard sandwich that I couldn't finish. I'll not eat Jimmy John's ever again. The second time gave me food poisoning. I talked with the manager at the N Thompson LN store who didn't seem concerned by their brown lettuce and filthy sandwiches. That it took into the last part of the conversation to get an apology for the condition of their sub-par sandwiches speaks volumes. I asked plainly for a refund, citing food poisoning as the reason. They said they'll refund my card in a couple of days so I'll not give 1 star. Though I repeat, I will never ever eat there again. I have been a fan of Jimmy Johns for years, the Murfreesboro store is the most poorly ran store! I called to have a sandwich delivered and they took my order and said be there shortly. 30 min later I get a call "sir we can't deliver to you you're out of our area" well that's fine and all but don't you think you should have told me that before you charged my debit card? "we credited your card sir" well 3 days later checking my account and they never credited my account!!!! Working in the Avenue leaves you with few convenient lunches choices, especially when you can't leave work at all. This Jimmy Johns is always speedy and the food is always consistent. After I posted a review, they called me to discuss feedback I left on their site. The end of a 5 minute conversation was essentially "that is the recipe" and they will not consider honoring a request to cut one piece of bread into two lengthwise. If I ever saw a more complete abandonment of "the customer is always right" I do not recall it. You get it their way or you can go elsewhere. You can get any sandwich on the menu and you can ask them to add guacamole or leave off mayo, but if you ask "hey can you cut my bread all the way through instead of leaving it connected on one side" the answer is no. How ridiculous to the point of being comical that a sandwich shop can be so unwilling to honor a customer request especially when there are so many other shops offering just as good or better quality. read more
