As if I'm making her day longer when it's her job to make a sandwich asked for cucumbers and told me no I can't do that because I have to wash it slice it and use the machine as if it's not her job duty????? What's not to love? The staff here is helpful and friendly, the bread is fresh and soft. My daughter loves the salami here. I didn't know you could ask them to not scoop out the bread from the top half of the baguette. That's a game changer. I love two things, the option to get a slim, a mini, or a regular in all the main options and the day old bread for sale. The only bummer about this place right now is the construction around the street and parking lot. It's hard to get to. I like the Turkey Tom and the Beach Club, but I've been eyeing the Vito and may get it next time. read more

I'm usually a fan of JJ's, and very much like their business model - with the possible exception of the management / ownership of this location. Usually the JJ's crew welcomes you in with at least a little caring that you're helping with their paycheck. This place, with NO ONE else in the store, had a guy in the back give me at best a dutiful 'Welcome to Jimmy John's". Very distracted, but probably just something which needed doing. I ordered my sandwich and asked about their ranch sauce. He pretty much looked at me like I had two heads when I didn't realize it was a dipping sauce, not something added like mayo. Gee... now I know. :-( I probably put forth a bad image when I asked about sprouts - no, they don't have them at this location. Upon receiving my fairly fast sandwich, I sat down to eat. Then I noticed that the radio was playing through a really crappy speaker. NO, it was two different stations playing somewhat similar music through equivalently crappy speakers at the same moderate volume. Sandwich was OK (seemed less filling than usual), friendliness was barely there, and atmosphere stinks. Jimmy Johns struggles to meet the needs of the customer consistent with other restaurants, particularly during a time of need with Covid. Ratings are not good... yet they do not make improvements to meet the needs of customer. We ordered three sandwiches for delivery and forgot a child's sub. Called to add the child's sub to the existing order. They would not accommodate this request and were rude. Asked us to place another order for a child's sub and incur another delivery charge. I beginning to wonder why I bother giving the Jimmy Johns around me my business. This location is across the mall from a Target, and my thinking tonight was, do a little shopping, and get a sandwich. This review is long overdue and tonight's adventure on dining was the onus to write this out. There has been a number of times I've walked in and the first smell to hit my nose was the smell of sewage, I'll probably blame this on their mop that likely needs changing as I was hit with that smell again in the men's room which I visited before placing my order. I ordered a #10 Hunter Club, a drink and wandered back to my car, for the five odd mile drive back to the office. As I was sitting myself down for my late dinner and got some good brown mustard out the of the fridge, I discover to my horror that my roast beef sandwich is really ham. I was basically in for the evening as I was planning on dinner and expense reports. With less than ten minutes before they closed, I called and pointed out their error, which they seemed none too fazed about, no worries for them, they aren't the ones who are driving ten miles round trip and wasting thirty minutes to get the sandwich I originally wanted in the first place. I've given up on this location, and I'm really giving up on the chain in Illinois as the district managers apologies are getting old, there's plenty of other places around there to eat for the same money or less. read more

I know I said before they lost my business but sadly they're like one of 2 places in the area that delivers so we get desperate at work sometimes and have to get it delivered. As always the drivers are very fast and our orders have been better lately. Not forgetting anything and the bread is more fresh. My experience is a little unique. I'm located in CA, and I'm reviewing my experience based on my friendly customer service I received over the phone, and feed back from management I work for a big automotive company in Torrance, CA. We held a zone meeting out in IL. I had two great experience with Jimmy Johns. Experience. Placed an order over the phone for 14 sandwiches, one day prior. Order went by smooth. And even said they will put their names on the individual sandwiches. The employee was very nice, friendly, willing to assist, and patient (considering I must of called back like 3 times, based on me not being prepared). I called back and got another employee, who knew who I was, and was just as nice and helpful. Food was delivered on time, orders were all correct, and management was very please with the food. Experience. Meeting day 2. I got a last minute call stating the sales reps wanted the exact same lunch, same order, same time. They called me at 11:15. Lunch is at 12. and I had only 45 minutes noticed. I called up, absolutely no problem. They were pleased to take my order. Delivered again on time, and food just as wonderful as the day before. Transaction went smooth, friendly, fast, and efficient. Def use them in the future for our meetings. :) read more

I enjoy Jimmy John's sandwiches, but I cannot recommend this location based on my recent experience. The person taking our order did not remove his gloves when he approached us and continued to wear the same gloves to place our order using the touch screen monitor then proceeded to prepare our sandwiches with the same gloves. Another person came in through the front door and then went back behind the counter who appeared to work there. He asked the person preparing our sandwiches what he could help out with. I watched him put gloves on without washing his hands. When they told me my order was ready, I noticed they completely made the wrong sandwich for one of the 2 sandwiches I ordered. I confirmed on my receipt that it was not the correct sandwich that I ordered. At this point, I was too hungry after a long day of painting. I will not return to this location. read more

I love Jimmy John's, I was having a bad day today so I decided to treat myself and i was so excited to get my sandwich and I walked in and said hi, the lady said hi...nothing else so I proceeded to ask for the Pepe...this older lady w/ a tattoo on her left arm (she wasn't wearing a name tag) cut me off mid sentence and mumbled something about closing a register?? I don't know what she said but she shut me up and didn't apologize... fine whatever, i waited patiently. When she was finally ready I ordered and she had me repeat myself multiple times, also fine but apparently she couldn't hear me very well so I raised my voice so she could hear me and this lady apparently thought I was raising my voice to be rude and she starts giving me major attitude and raising her voice. That was the last straw, I can handle rude, I'm a nurse I deal with rude angry sick people all the time but this was beyond rude multiple times. I walked away and and she smirked and said "okay". Awful how this place can't deliver 2 miles because it's out of there area in order to call themselves freaky fast. I have order here for about 7 years and have never had a problem placing a delivery until now. They have come out to my house no problem and when I told them that they snapped at me and said"well we're not suppose to go that far, so whom ever did the deliver was wronged" blows me away how much business this place is loosing due to the fact they don't travel 2 miles. This review is long over-due. I had reason to be in this area once per week for several months. I was in need of a quick bite and nothing heavy, so I decided to go to Jimmy John's. The service in this location is lackluster at best. Each time I visited I was the only customer, perhaps I should have read more into that than I did. I have a simple order #4 Turkey Tom, cheese, no lettuce, easy mayo. I had to remind the staff that I did not want lettuce, had to repeat my request to cut the sandwich in half and to give me at least one napkin. Twice during my visits, the bread was rock hard, indication that they don't do much business?? Thankfully, I no longer need to visit the area, so I will never visit this location again. To the owners, you need to educate your staff on basic customer service!! read more

Horrible manager! Ordered for work and it took over an hour and a half and calling several times to get our sandwiches. Couldn't have lunch and the sandwiches were awful and the bread hard as a rock. We called and they said next sandwiches will be free. We paid for our late horrible sandwiches and tipped . When I called to get our free sandwiches manager was rude, condescending and said I was lying. Had me so upset over sandwiches! He just wanted me to not get the free sandwiches! This place is a joke! Ordered online at 12:21 its now 1:21 and food is still not here nor did I receive a call about food being delayed. I called the store to inquire about my order. Took a couple of rings to answer and when answer the person on the line didn't even give me a chance to say hi as they quickly placed me on hold. Was on hold for over 10 minutes. I ended up hanging up and calling back. I called 5 times with no answers and on the 6th time finally received an answer. They placed me yet again on hold to find out where driver was for another 5 mins. Was then told that the driver had other drop off and that it will be a bit longer. The person on the phone was so rude about the situation. Hour plus later food finally arrived but not whole order was delivered. Avoid this place unprofessional employees and food that is delivered more than an hour as it defeats the purpose of delivery!!! read more

I put an order in for pick up. Got there 10 minutes after I ordered. Said I have an order for pick up and they said oh yeah I was just about to start that...the whole reason I put an order for pick up is so it will be ready when I get there. Also I ordered a blt with no tomato. Got the sandwich and it only had bacon..no lettuce or Mayo. I ordered another sandwich with Italian dressing and they forgot that also. Wow, I always order from Jimmy Johns and this has to be the worse experience I've ever had. I ordered a Turkey Sandwich for delivery and 50 minutes later I had no sandwich just a promise that the sandwich would be free when it arrives.... but no one could tell me when it would arrive because as I was told "They were very busy and over whelmed" I told them to not bother and cancelled my sandwich... Unfortunately there are not many places that deliver in our area but the quality of food and service has gotten so bad and the Poor attitude of the apathetic staff that I had to write a review. We continually get sandwiches with hard bread, wilted lettuce and nasty tomatoes. We are now taking turns in our office to go out and get food because this Jimmy Johns is Terrible.
