I was walking to the business next door when a Jimmy John's employee came outside and was unnecessarily rude to me. The employee immediately went back inside to work. When I spoke with the manager, Employees represent a business even when they step outside, and treating people with disrespect shouldn't be tolerated. Based on this experience, I have no interest in supporting this location. read more

My family ​& I went here for dinner and needless to say we were not satisfied with the service nor the food. People pay good money to enjoy eating out with their families every now and then but when food is over priced for what you think your gonna get to what you actually get are 2 different things at this sub shop. The quality of the food was disappointing. I could have made the subs at home far better than ordering from here. The taste was bland like really what did I pay for!!?? Their whole wheat sub is not even a sub it's a sandwich that you could honestly find at Walmart. A sub normally comes with all the fixings unless you state otherwise but at this sub shop your lucky if you get the bare minimum. NOT SATISFIED WITH THE EXPERIENCE AT ALL!!!! read more

Came here for the new Black and Blue but received a Flat and Ewww. Haven't been to a JJ in years and this reminded me why. False advertisement all the way on this one. These pics show what I received and what is being advertised. It'll be another few years before I find myself at a Jimmy Jokes. Also, my wife says Subways does Italian much better. read more

I've been coming here for years and usually order the same sandwich, made the same way. Instead of listing out each item to put on the sub--most Jimmy Johns locations understand the phrase "Jimmy It Up." [See the image included for an explanation.] As of late, no matter how many times I tell the same employees what is included, they make the sub wrong. It would be one thing if they simply asked what it meant. Instead they stare blankly, make the sub wrong, and hand it to me like I'm a sheep that won't notice. Additionally, the general atmosphere has had a serious change. No more greetings upon entry, and the cherry on top was a cockroach in the bathroom.. What's going on guys?? You used to be decent. Now your inconvenient location isn't worth your crappy attitudes, atmosphere, or food. Shape up..! read more

This is our go-to for sandwiches in Goldsboro NC. I enjoy the different choices in sandwiches and styles of bread. I usually order my boys the slims because it comes with meat and bread only. I like the Turkey Tom but add extra bacon to it. I used to enjoy the sprouts they used but they stop carrying them. The menu is simple with sides of chips or pickles and drinks. This is refreshing then sometimes have a 10-page menu. I dong eat here often just because I am trying to cut back on carbs, but they do offer the lettuce wrap version which is great as well. read more

So I pay for a large turkey tom sub with mayo, mustard, cheese, and lettuce. I get all the way home and there is no cheese, no mayo, and no mustard. If there were condiments on my sub there certainly wasn't enough to notice. read more

Ok so I come here a lot. But what is it with their inability to spread the tuna salad over the entire piece of bread when making a sandwich?! I love Jimmy Johns, but the female in charge was very rude to her employees in front of costumers. "I'm glad you could make it in today", she condescendingly said to one that had walked in late (save that talk out of customers earshot). I then asked for double meat on my sub, splitting it evenly between turkey and roast beef. She first acted like she didn't know what I meant, then as I explained it she was rude saying they can't do that (while smirking). Every other sandwich place I've ever been to does do that. Weird. I love jimmy johns and it is my favorite sub place. We were out of town today and stopped at this location. Food was amazing. However- Service was lacking. When we walked in we we're not greeted by anyone. When I asked about their kids menu I was told"they're over there" and then when I couldn't find napkins and I asked- the young girl behind the counter pointed to them. She couldn't even hand them to me even though they were behind the counter. While we were there eating the entire staff was laughing and carrying on in the lobby. Let's just start from the beginning, when we came in we went straight to register and this guy was leaning all over it "cashier" didn't at anything to us ask us if he could help us or anything. So we took some time reading menu as it has been a while since I have been to Jimmy Johns... we start ordering the guy doesn't ask us what size sub or do we want to make it a meal or anything. We are asking for specific things to not be on the subs as I can't at everything and my husband can't at certain things. He doesn't say anything. I say did you get all that he just mumbles and we Cantu defat and what he is saying but I watch as the girl is making it and she was listening to what I said and also asked to make sure. So far not so good experience. Well we take the food over to sit and eat and the bread "sub rolls" are so extremely hard and over cooked almost unedible but it was late afternoon, I hadn't eaten that Sunday and my daughter had only had a bowl of cereal and so we figured what the heck we would just eat it. My daughter could hardly bite hers and mine I had to throw some of bread away because it was so hard and my one year old I couldn't even give him any or else he would choke it was soooo terrible. I will never go to this location again!!!! Still love Jimmy Johns though just not this location!!! read more

The Manager is so rude ! My mom ordered a sandwich that came without lettuce and she refused to let ME PAY FOR SOME LETTUCE! Said she would have to ring up another sandwich that has lettuce on it ! WTF ---we WONT BE BACK FOR A $10 sandwich-Fire house subs for us ! read more

I wrote a review on Google but it somehow disappeared. My husband ordered a Gargantuan and a water. He was charged 59 cents for a large water, and was given a medium cup. He asked for a large cup since that's what he was charged for, and the cashier said that was the large water cup. When he questioned this, a man who appeared to be the manager rudely confirmed that is Jimmy John's policy. The staff continued to be rude to him when he asked for a lid. Not only is 59 cents a lot to pay for tap water, a paper cup, lid and straw, the additional poor service confirmed they don't want returning customers. We should have asked for a refund and left. Lesson learned, we won't be back. read more

I ordered delivery today, after an hour of waiting for my sandwich to come I called and they said it was the drivers first day on the job and she got lost and would be there in 15 minutes later. After 45 more minutes I still hadn't gotten my food so I called again and said she would be right there. Waited almost 2 hours for a sandwich and they didn't seem to care that it was taking so long. Any other delivery place would have given the food free of charge or at least discounted after waiting 2 hours, and considering they advertise "freaky fast delivery" I expected something. It makes no sense how someone could get lost for 2 hours in Goldsboro when I am only 10 minutes from the store. read more

I went to this jimmy johns with my son last week. When I first walked in I found that the manager was (in my opinion) dressed inappropriately in shorts that were entirely too small and short. But that was just the beginning of my horrible experience. I heard not long after walking in the same manager being rude to an employee. She was yelling and making loud noises angrily. She carried that anger with her when she came to the register to take my order. She was rude to me when I asked about putting mayo and veggies on my sons sub after having to asking twice. When I got the subs and was walking away I heard a comment from another employee about "dumb customers" which I thought was very unprofessional and she laughed about it. When we were walking out she sarcastically said "have a great day." I will not be returning to this sub shop ever again. By far the worst customer service. read more

I usually like Jimmy John's, I think the food is great.. however, I just went in and the customer service was TERRIBLE! The young guy at the register didn't say a single word to me!! He leaned over the register like he could barely stand, I told him what I wanted, he looked down, punched in my items, then looked away. I waited, then looked at the screen and said.."is that my total? " Still no answer, just a blank look. I paid, he handed me change without telling me how much or what to do or anything. He rolled his eyes, then snatched a ticket and said "order" to the girl and walked away. I looked up and another employee was propped up on the wall on his phone. I get that Jimmy John's may not be your dream job, but someone owns this shop and cares about customer service.. the employees should be there for more than a pay check. TERRIBLE! I gave 2 stars for the food... So disappointed in the younger employees.. the older ones that deliver are ALWAYS sweet. Get it together. read more

Location doesn't participate in customer appreciation day. Wasted many customers' time. Won't return again or order catering.

I have never eaten at this location but write to comment on the reckless driving of your delivery person in the silver car. On more than one occasion I have witnessed them speeding, going in and out of traffic, and cutting people off. I also saw them make an illegal turn to get into the shopping center where you are located. Great public representation of your business. read more

This place is great. They are super fast with making sandwiches. My husband and I go here almost every Sunday. I always order exactly the same veggie sub. It is made right every time. Plus the sweet tea is pretty good. Like them better than subway. read more
