Ordered 3 sandwiches from this location on Everett Mall Way, they accepted my payment of almost 27 dollars. When we arrived for pickup the restaurant was all boarded up and closed down!! But they took my money, so I had to call bank and cancel the transaction, it would have saved alot of time ordering and money if the Jimmy johns app would have let the customer know that this location is closed down and boarded up. Never heard of this place until just recently, sandwich was very good and prepared quickly. I got the Beach Club and nearly finished it with just a few bites, the sandwich wasn't really that big, but the prices are quite reasonable and the ingredients are high quality! This place has good sandwiches and they are made lightning quick. The bread tastes great, which may give it a leg up over Subway or Quizno's. We order from JJ at least a few times a month. I also used to work in the mall so I would order pretty often. Our last experience was not such a great one. I always get a #12. I know what it should taste like. I had almost NO avocado spread on my sandwich which hey, not a big deal. I did call though just to let them know and jokingly said that's ok just save what should have gone on and double it next time.. The lady thought I was serious and took offense to this. Whoops. She was super rude so I asked to speak to a manager and unfortunately all I got was "it's under the cheese. Check under the cheese". I visited this location for the first time on March 21st 2014 sometime during the 7pm hour. When I went in, there was one man in front of me who ordered 1 sandwich and a bag of chips and he was out in a flash! Then is was my turn and after I placed my order for one 8" sub to go, the 3 kids behind the counter decided to make 3 sandwiches for themselves with fresh bread all while I'm waiting for my 1 sandwich to go! Then finally, when they got around to making mine, I noticed that they grabbed the bread that they used for my sandwich from a slightly different area than they did for their 3 sandwiches and then finally gave me my to-go sandwich with no bag of anything!!! Finally, when I was able to eat my sandwich, the bread was extremely hard to be serving as "fresh"! I would guess that it must have been at least two days old! I was BEYOND disappointed! The first time I tried Jimmy Johns I was completely unimpressed. If you like toppings on your sandwich, don't go here. They put very little on the sandwich and the majority of your meal is bread. The only good thing about the sandwich was the bread (which was pretty good, I'll give 'em that), but I like other things... like MEAT. Out of desperation I decided to try them again, but only because they deliver and I'd rather not take the baby out just for a sandwich, and I'm starving. Jimmy Johns is 2.7 miles from my home. They refused to deliver to my house stating that it was outside of the delivery zone. As a veteran pizza girl, I knew an exception could be made, yet they refused. So, i work in VERY close proximity to this Jimmy John's, literally a 3 minute drive at MAX. I order Jimmy Johns because i like their sandwiches and that i can get them "unwich" style (wrapped in lettuce.) and they deliver when i can't leave work....that being said, their whole gimmick is "freaky fast" and i waited over ONE HOUR for my one sandwich to come. It is absolutely ridiculous. This is the 2nd time it has happened. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time. This is beyond disappointing because i really like their food. I called and spoke with a manager and she was very polite! And I'm sure it isn't her fault, honestly more people need to be employed there if the idea is to be fast and you have 2 people working on a Saturday night at dinner time. Just my two cents. Always a favorite stop when we are going to the mall. Fresh food with good variety. The staff is friendly and helpful. They even say good bye to you when you leave out the door. I've recently moved, and I used to order from the Sievers Duecy location, but now the closest one is the Everett Mall Way one, unfortunately. The Sievers Duecy one always had super fast delivery (usually 10 minutes), unless there were super busy scenarios like the Superbowl or the weather was horrid (and even then, its like 25 minutes, tops!). The EMW location however is quite the opposite. BOTH times I've ordered its taken over 40 minutes for the food to arrive! I seriously doubt I will order from this location again. Jimmy Johns is always a safe bet when you are in the mood for a sub. The employees are always friendly, service is quick and the subs are good. The bread takes center piece on any of their subs. Went here tonight and it was not fast. I waited about 7 minutes for two sandwiches, then found out their internet was down so they weren't able to charge me for my food. They asked me to wait around until the internet came back up and they were able to ring it through. I had to get home so no, I couldn't wait around for something that should be working in the first place. They asked for my number so they could call when it was back up, so I could come back and pay. Today, December 7th, my dad called in to this location at 12:17 for two sandwiches for delivery, at 1 pm he had to call back because nothing had been delivered and the male who answered the phone told him they "lost" the order and my dad had to REORDER and wait again. A half hour goes by and still no sandwiches. My dad called back at 1:33 and simply asked "I'm just curious if my order will be here soon, do you have an update?" The male who answered the phone, who refused to give his name to my dad, was the most extremely rude and unprofessional person I've ever heard. He told my dad "I told you we were busy" with the worst attitude I've heard an employee have with a CUSTOMER over the phone. And then said "it'll be there when it gets there." And got quiet and hung up. Usually I get being busy as I have worked in the food industry, but after "loosing" the order, and my dad having to call back and make a SECOND order because of there mess up, you'd think they'd be apologetic and understanding and try to make the situation better but nope, they did absolutely nothing. This is certainly a place we will not be ordering from anymore and we will let everyone we know about this experience and advise not to go here or order from here. read more
