So far I've tried the California Powerhouse and the Turkey Club, and both were stacked with fresh ingredients. The portions are solid, and you can tell they're not skimping on anything. The Powerhouse came on a Kaiser roll and the club on white bread, and both held up really well. I've gotten fries on the side each time. They're cooked well, but they come out unsalted and a little bland on their own. That said, once you add some ketchup, they're perfectly fine and do the job. Service has been quick both times I went. I stopped by around 11:30 during the week (Thursday and Friday), and there was no line either time. From ordering to getting my food was about 5 minutes total, so it's definitely a solid option for a quick lunch. The shop itself is very clean and welcoming, and the staff has been friendly and helpful on both visits. Ordering is simple, though I did notice some of the same sandwich names listed in different sections with different prices, which was a little confusing. I meant to ask about it but forgot. They have a wide selection of deli-style sandwiches (hot and cold), plus cheesesteaks and burgers, which I haven't tried yet. For a sandwich, fries, and a drink, it's been a little over $18, but with the portion sizes and quality, I think it's worth it. I'll definitely be back. I'm especially interested in trying their breakfast since this area doesn't have a lot of strong breakfast spots, so I'm curious to see how they compare.

The subs are still tasty, but it seems like they're putting less meat on the sandwiches. I ordered the Jersey Shore Favorite #2, giant size today. Now, the young man who took my order was polite and efficient. The next young man, the broken cog in the wheel, held up progress. There's lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and vinegar - apparently, placing vegetables and condiments on a sandwich is this guy's Mt. Everest! There was one sandwich being prepared ahead of mine. It took 17 minutes (yes, I timed it because of my prior experience) to finally get my sub. I had to go sit down and get up a few times so I didn't develop bed sores on my ass. Overall, underwhelmed by the service, quality and value. JM, you're getting out of control with the prices for a sandwich! Prime rib is cheaper by the pound!

Today I ordered a ham sandwich with specific preparation and turkey slices. The sandwich came without the specifics I asked for. What if I had food allergies? I tried to make my own sandwich using the turkey slices and I was really upset. The slices were slimy and tasted sweet; all a sign that they were bad. I should have known better to order from this location again because the last time I ordered slices they were the same way. I just spent over $30 for food I can't eat.
